We bought this dryer to replace a 2011 Samsung front loading dryer that was damaged from a house fire. This works great! Is quiet and dries clothes quickly, even on low settings.

We have had this unit for several years and overall have been happy with it. The main reason for the 3-stars is that every couple of years I’ve had to call and have someone come out to replace a heat element… thankfully, I bought the 5-year extended warranty! Without it, my review would be far different!

The dryer is working well for me. I have not experienced any issue yet and hope it stays that way. It has been very convenient for me and seems to be doing a good job of drying.

Very efficient and looks great! Very pleased so far but haven't used the steam yet.

I purchased this dryer with the matching washer. The dryer works as expected. I do like the options I have when drying my clothes and the way the dryer continues to rotate your clothes to ensure your clothes don't get wrinkled (haven't used the steam cycle yet). Honestly, I purchased this dryer to have a matching set with the washer. It does everything well but if you have to choose between upgrading your washer or dryer definitely invest in the matching washer. Also purchased the pedestals for both units. Way overpriced!!!

Heat element went out in 4 years. I don't know if that's normal.

The washer has many features and works great. So happy with this choice.

Upgraded to this dryer last year and have had no problems with it

In two more days we will have owned this model and companion washer for 18 months. Purchase at Bestbuy was smooth but slow-over an hour to process the sale, financing and delivery date. Delivery was on time and pleasant. Less than a year in we found Samsung authorized service problematic-two week to two month wait for help in my area. The rollers/bearing the drum rides on were making a loud unpleasant noise. Found a parts supplier and instructional video on the internet. Saved 75% over the cost of factory supplied parts and two hours after the parts were in hand I had them installed. End of noise. Yesterday the dryer blew only cold air (actually it sucks air through the drum but...). Contacting Samsung authorized service only raised my blood pressure-dryer totally outside of labor and parts warranties; fees beginning at $80.00. Ordered suspected bad part late in evening. Disassembled dryer this morning to confirm which part had failed. Ordered two additional parts from third party vendor. Dryer in pieces with fasteners in labelled zip-lock bags until new/replacement parts arrive on units 18 month 'birthday'. Cost of parts for both repairs about the same as single non-refundable service call fee. Now of the opinion that more features equates less to convenience and more to the fragility of the unit. If a total replacement is necessary, we'll be looking for something with far fewer 'features' and a lot more solid performance.

I love the “my cycle” setting, my kids can do laundry and I don’t have to worry about them fusing with settings. The steam setting I’ve tried twice and it just soaked my clothes. Not really steam, might as well rewash it.

I bought the matching washer/dryer and the stacking kit a couple of weeks ago. They both function well and have all the settings I could ever want or need. However, there is a design flaw that could be an issue for some. With the pair stacked with the dryer on top, I cannot see the controls on the dryer since they are slanted upward. I need a step-stool and I'm 5'7"!

Bought this with the washer. Amazing room inside. We can stuff the washer full and then pop it in the dryer with ease. It plays a little song when done. It also has a wrinkle shield. When it finishes it will kick back on here and there to keep clothes from wrinkling. It can be turned off though. It was a great buy at $699.

Really disappointed with the $1500 dryer, 2 years running and needs to be repaired. Had a Kenmore of 400 bucks with no issues during 12 years!!!!. Call Samsung and they only said "12 months warranty and we cannot do anything about it"......seriously? This is not acceptable, does not matter for Samsung that consumers are trying to get best product, it seems they don't care. This Dryer broke in only 24 months, now must pay the repair for this fancy dryer. $109 diagnose charge plus spares cost $$$$ Don't buy this dryer

Great dryer. Pretty quiet. Don't stop the machine early to get out your "wrinkle away" clothes early...takes 20 min and what it does is completely soaks your clothes before it dries...

Purchased a year ago and very happy with the purchase. Great settings, tumbles a few minutes after timer signals, and easy to remove flint.

I have yet to get through a dry cycle without opening the door, rearranging the clothes to dry completely. The dryer just throws everything in a ball and leaves everything wet in the middle.

ORDERED UNIT 4/27/15. WORKED FOR 30 DAYS. SINCE THEN HAVE BEEN AND STILL JUMPING THROUGH RINGS OF FIRE TO HAVE THE DEFECTIVE UNIT REPLACED. NOT ONE MORE OF MY DOLLARS TO SAMSUNG ESPECIALLY THEIR LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT SUCKS!

A great dryer with even better support service!!!!!

This dryer is already messing up within three months. The steam cycle just makes your clothes very wet and takes forever to get them completely dry. I am now with out a dryer for over a week waiting on a technician. I am so aggravated by this. When I paid over 700 dollars for a dryer I pay that not to be in the situation I am currently in.

Great Buy has done an awesome job and looks beautiful while doing so.
