I purchased a Samsung Washer and Dryer based on customer reviews. I was extremely disappointed. After less than a year, the dryer started squeaking off and on through the drying cycle. Because it was under the one year manufacturer warrranty, Samsung sent a repairman out three different times. No one was able to fix it although they replaced all the parts. After more than 8 hours off and on with Samsung, they finally agreed to exchange it but it was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with any appliance. It was a complete run around from Samsung so they could try and wear me down and get out of refunding or exchanging the product. And I was lucky if I actually got someone that actually spoke English well. The language barrier was terrible. Needless to say ... I will never buy another Samsung washer and dryer again. Shame on you, Samsung. I will go back to buying Amerian made products. I just purchased a Maytag. I also have nothing but good to say about Best Buy. They’ve been great throughout the whole ordeal.

The dryer is so poorly designed that you can't even use the settings for bedding to dry bedding! The user manual actual says to use a different setting. Regardless of the setting, the dryer spins so fast that you can't dry more than one sheet or blanket at a time without them twisting together and they end up in a big ball thumping around in the dryer. The matching washer is nice but the dryer sucks

I purchased this dryer after extensive research and up until this weekend have been happy. The thermostat went after one year and one week. $200 repair bill. Given the cost to purchase, needless to say I am highly disappointed to have this happen.

I was so excited to buy this Samsung washer dryer set. In under 3 years (2015) my heating element burnt out and now my dryer has cracks in the drum. When I called for the drum to be replaced it going to cost over $350 plus new rollers? So upset that after I paid over $700 and I didn't get 3 years out of it plus the warranty doesn't cover the drum damage. A class action lawsuit with others that have had the same issue is pending. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on a very poor designed unit with no real warranty.

We are on second dryer, same problem it leaks after load. Had Samsung tech to fix first one, told by him not use Eco dry option because it causes leaks. Never used option again, still same result water under dryer. Second same dryer same thing with a loud noise with each load.

The dryer work perfectly for the first 3 years until it got close to being out of warranty.

I filled my home with new Samsung appliances since they seemed like a good brand. They all look nice, but are terrible quality and do a very poor job. Stay away from Samsung and all of their products. The minimum number of stars is 1, but this product deserves 0.

Samsung Dryers are poor at best. Purchased a washer and dryer combo. Both have been problematic. Samsung uses A & E factory service for their repairs. They too are horrible! Have $375 invested so far. Had the service people out 3 times. Still not repaired. Run away from these! Go figure they have a recall on top loads. My dryer wont shut off.

I live by myself so the dryer that I bought 1 1/2 years ago doesn't get used that often (twice a month only). It NO LONGER HEATS UP AND LEAVES THE CLOTHES WET. Why would the heating element stop working and I have to pay over $200 to replace this cheaply made unit? Very unhappy with this product. The matching washer is not good either.

Worked 16 months then started making noises. Samsung warrenty only covers up to 12 months. Google DV42H5200EW/A noise and you will find over 28 pages in the Samsung site of costumers facing the similar issue. Bad product that is designed to break down a few months after the warranty expires.

I only had the dryer for 18 months when the motor started going out. It is only under warranty for 1 year.

We purchased this dryer in February 2016. Regular use (several times a week) over just 2 years and it broke. Now we're stuck paying $300+ to repair a relatively new dryer. I would not recommend Samsung products based on this experience.

I tried to reverse the door and parts of the dryer fell apart. What should have been an easy job became a nightmare because of shoddy workmanship. what a disappointment. Do not buy.

Disappointed spending this much on a dryer and am now waiting on a Samsung repairman that has 1.5 stars on yelp.

Have had this dryer for 6 years now and have had several repairs within the 6. Looking to replace it now.

I bought a Samsung Dryer. The weld in the drumb cracked after 2-years. There is nothing the company will do for you when it happens. Buy a different brand.
