This dryer takes less time. It is quiet and the clothes come out amazing! The steam cycle is a great feature!

Yea they are pretty and have all the awesome features but if you research cracked drums there are thousands! I have had my dryer for 4 years and have used it normally. 2 repairs for a squill sound and now I have a hole in the drum that the clothes get stuck in! Also lint can get in the hole and start a fire! My kids have my old whirlpool dryer and it still works fine....save yourself the headache and buy a different brand! Samsung should do something about the poor quality of the dryer drum! I am beyond disappointed!

Our dryer had just died after 17 years and we knew it was time to replace it. I had done plenty of nickel and dime repairs over the years and this fix would have cost over $350 so time to shop for new stuff. I purchased this dryer and the matching washer at the same time on clearance online from Best Buy. I also bought the stacking kit so I could stack this and the washer to save space. In short, this is a fantastic dryer. At 7.5 cubic feet, it has ample capacity for the laundry loads we regularly wash as a family of four. It has numerous settings and plenty of time adjustment within most of the settings to allow you to customize according to the size and soil level of each load of laundry. On top of that, this is one of the only, if not THE only dryer with steam capability that has a cold water connection instead of a reservoir for the water. This is super convenient as refilling a water reservoir for steam capability is a pain in the neck. It even came with the proper splitter adapter to connect to the cold water supply to both the washer and dryer. The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow. Having experience installing and repairing all types of appliances, I can say the installation of this dryer and the matching washer are very simple with minimal hand tools and experience even for a novice. Make sure to purchase a power cord with it as that is not included ad when buying the power cord, make sure you know whether your outlet at home is three or four prong. The rest is simple. The only complaint I have with the dryer is that the lint trap is a little difficult to clean out. It seems like the screen on this one is a little finer than that of my old Whirlpool. Using fabric softener sheets seems to make trap a little harder to clean because lint sticks to the screen along with the softner and makes for a kind of gummy mess. About every fifth load or so, I remove the trap, use a toothbrush with some hand soap or dishwashing liquid, and hot tap water to scrub the lint away. It's easy, takes about five minutes, and leaves the trap clean as a pin. Aside from the lint trap, this dryer is great!! The steam function makes it easy to fluff clothes and remove small wrinkles. It's also a good way to steam sanitize some clothes. Lastly, while not exactly light, this thing is easy to stack with the matching washer. This thing is worthy of five stars for sure!

I had this dryer for 1 month now and I am really pleased it with it. It is the first time I buy Samsung appliances and I bought this after my 10 years old LG Tromm dryer died on me. Compared to my old dryer this is way faster, it really dries in normal mode and doesn't need any extra time. I like the steam feature although I only used it twice just to try it. We are a family of 4 and the load is alway never-ending in my house, this dryer so far has dried very well clothing and bed sheet and 3 different size comforters (full- queen - king)

I was able to purchase this dryer on clearance so the price was great. Very quiet and awesome color along with being easy to use.

I bought this washer and dryer on thanksgiving 2016. And have been using it since 10 months now. After an initial struggle to get it installed (installation done by a third party and I had difficulties communicating with them), the product works fine. I wanted to buy the one in grey or blue color but white one is apt for my home. It has 12 cycles and alarms when the cycle is complete. It has a nice display and enough space to dry 1 king size comforter along with a bed sheet.

I have owned this dryer for about six weeks. It has a much larger capacity than our previous dryer and it makes drying large loads like bedding effortless. The electronic controls are flush mounted on the top and are easily accessible. The estimated minutes to finish display timer takes all the guesswork out of deciding when to return. I could do without the smoked glass door. It's not clear enough to provide any useful information. I would have preferred an option for a steel door that matched the color of the dryer. The best feature and entirely worth the price are the steam functions. No more static cling and if you are prompt to the dryer, no wrinkles! No more ironing every day! Just hang the clothes up quickly and they will be ready to go. Should they get wrinkled up in the hamper or in the closet, the dryer has a steam setting called wrinkle refresh that essentially irons out the wrinkles in about 15 minutes! This one convenience alone has given us back so much time we used to spend ironing and made us very happy with our purchase.

I was shopping for washer and dryer, for my budget and pricing SAMSUNG washer and dryer were perfect, very quite and efficient. Waiting to buy WIFI adapter so that i can have it talking with my smart phone.

My wife and I searched for a new dryer for over a month and this had everything we wanted and was easy to stack in our pre-existing laundry area. Easy to use, lot of options, quite and great results

This is great for washing blankets and coats or jackets. The larger load capacity is wonderful. The washer and dryer are very quiet. We would recommend set very highly. Our daughters are amazed at how easy it is to use these machines. The salesperson really new the products. That does not always happen.

Great design and performance. The price is not bad on black Friday. A steal!

Simply awesome drying machine that dries really well

Dryer is much easier to use than my previous dryer. The steam modes work great in refreshing a load of laundry that has been sitting in the dryer all day. Holds a queen sized comforter with no issues and is able to dry it.

This dryer is quiet when operating which is nice for us since it is near our TV viewing area. It also senses when the clothes are dry and shuts off automatically instead of running until the cycle time is up. There is hardly any lint to clean out. The only thing I do not like is the Timed Dry cycle. It seems to take the clothes longer than normal to dry.

Have had this dryer for a few years and we use it a lot. The first year we owned it the belt failed and it’s happened again right now after 5 years. I’m not complaining because the machine works super well and still looks new.

Love the dryer as it does not matter if small load or oversize load, I usually only have to run it through one cycle. Drys the loads perfectly and love the steam part as it takes less time to dry something.
