We love this dryer. It’s got many options to dry clothes without being complicated. And the steam dry option is great.

Excellent washer and dryer set. Having the functionality of an extra washer and dryer on top of each piece, is really helpful for our family. They are a large set so be prepared for their size. Overall we are very pleased with them!

The Samsung FlexDry is great to use paired with the Samsung FlexWash. It is two machines in one! It has a small extra dedicated delicate dryer on top where you can lay sweaters and other items that you normally wouldn’t put in the tumbling dryer. Great for small delicates and I already dried some stuffed animals there for my twin toddlers when they got messy and wet. In addition to the one cubic foot top compartment, there is the bigger lower drum for your regular load that has 6.1 cubic feet. The FlexDryer is bigger than most dryers. It sure is bigger than my previous ten year old dryer.The black stainless-steel dryer (which has a finger print resistant finish) has a chrome trim, a blue LED display and a curved modern stylish look. It looks great in my laundry room. The FlexDryer pairs perfectly with the Samsung FlexWash. The small dryer on top of the FlexDryer is big enough for delicates like underwear, sweaters and I am using it mostly for small amounts of delicate laundry I want to quickly dry when my kids make messes. It is transparent so you can see the laundry in the small mess drying rack. It has its own separate set of buttons to operate the upper dryer and you can choose different. This top dryer is a life saver for this busy mom! The bottom dryer fits big loads of laundry and gives you a lot of different cycles to choose from. Depending on the cycle, you can also adjust the dry level, the temperature and the time manually. The steam feature is great so your laundry will have less wrinkles. The dryer can dry two loads at once so no need to wait for one load to be done when you have delicates to dry too. The displays for both dryers tell you exactly how much time is left in each cycle and a blinking indicator tells you which part of the cycle each load is on. The top and the bottom dryer play a song when the cycles are finished. I am really impressed by how fast the drying cycle on the bottom washer is. My laundry came out thoroughly dry in just thirty minutes. Overall I am really impressed by how dry and fluffy the laundry comes out of the machine no matter which cycle or which I am using. The top and the bottom dryer are very quiet. Another smart feature is that the FlexDry can be connected to the Smart Home app, available for Android 4.0 or higher, and iOS 8.0 or higher so you can see if your load is finished. The Samsung FlexDry is a great dryer and makes doing the laundry feel less like a chore! The FlexDry is a great appliance with the flexibility to dry a big load, a small load, or both at the same time. It is like having two machines in one! I highly recommend it!

The Samsung FlexDry electric dryer is the best dryer I've ever owned. It's design is attractive, which is important to me since my guests need to travel through the laundry room to get to the bathroom. It dries efficiently and is quiet. The FlexDry is a great added bonus. The first time I used it, it was to dry a small load that I'd washed in the FlexWash. It didn't effectively dry the whole load. More items fit in the FlexWash than in the FlexDry because it's intended to dry only a couple of items at a time. Not a deal breaker, since I intend to use it mostly to warm up my children's clothes on cold winter mornings. My favorite feature is the placement of the lint trap. It's in the front, inside the door. My old dryer's was on the top, toward the back. It made a mess when I emptied it because it needed to be pulled out along the top of the machine. I was constantly using old dryer sheets to swipe up the copious amounts of lint and grit that it shed. This trap is quick, easy to access, and mess free. It's also easy to tell if you've removed all of the lint, since it gets trapped in an enclosed basket. My previous lint trap wasn't enclosed, and extended into the depths of the dryer. I was always nervous that some of the lint may have dropped down where I couldn't see it, causing a fire hazard. Especially because my husband isn't great about remembering to clean the trap after every load. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the interior light. It doesn't automatically turn on when I open the door. I have to push the power button first. It's not a big deal, though. You won't be sorry if you purchase this dryer.

I like how this dryer dries my clothes it does a great job however there are some issues. First issue is the fingerprint proof claim: the dryer is not fingerprint proof and I am very disappointed about this because it was one of the main reason for purchasing. Second issue it does not dry bulky items very well: the compacity of the dryer I thought could withhold my down blanket however the few times I’ve had to wash the blanket the dryer does a poor job of drying it. All my other clothes it dries very well including towels etc. I needed a larger size because I have down blankets but it doesn’t work as well with them. Overall it’s a good dryer but it’s on the pricey side I think I could have gotta something not as pricey for the same quality. Just shop around. I looked for a washer and dryer for about three months before deciding and I think I made a good decision but it was very expensive.

Easy to use, very quiet and stable. Clothes are less wrinkled and smell fresh. Extra large capacity tub allows clothes to tumble freely.

I love this dryer! Effectively dries everything! The upper dryer feature is a nice plus! Haven’t used the steam feature yet. Not sure how. Lol Theres so many features that I’m sure I’m not utilizing this dryer to it’s max abilities. The only complaint is that the front door is so low that I literally have to squat down to transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer. If I were to put this set on pedestals, I’d need a step stool to use the top dryer.

It was not my first choice, the flex dryer was. I just didn’t fit in my space. So we opted to go with the best one we could find for our space. I am so glad we did! It not only has all the features we need to dry our clothes without having to wait forever, it looks great and sings to you at the end of the cycle. 7.5 cubic feet of drying without the extremely high price tag as the flex. My new set makes laundry day easier and faster.

**This is going to be almost identical to my review of the washer.** I'd been looking for a new W/D set for a while. The pair I had was 11 years old and ready to quit any moment. When I saw this set at Best Buy with the double dryer, I knew I had to have it. I absolutely LOVE this dryer. I never thought I'd say that about an appliance. I love I can dry my delicates and sweaters in the top while another bigger load is drying. I'm sure it's cut down on my laundry time. My only real "con" is that the song it plays when finishing a cycle is a little long and tends to drive me nuts. I live in a small house without a dedicated laundry room, so it can get annoying. BUT that is my only real complaint (and we plan to have a bigger house with a laundry room in the near future). I wish I could either alter it or turn down the sound but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. At any rate, I love the dryer. I hope it lasts me at least a decade.

I Love this dryer. It has a large capacity. I no longer worry about ruining my delicate items. I just lay them flat on the top dryer and the garment dries without shredding or shrinking. Easy controls and lots of features. And it’s Bluetooth!

Neat concept to have a large capacity dryer and a smaller top loader which the salesperson said could be used to sanitize pillows or other small items and not have them tumble around or use the full drum to steam or dry.

We bought the set and i love being able to lay stuff up top to dry. The steam cycles to refresher or wrinkle release are the most used, lol! My only complaint is that when we moved our new home didn't have the same prong plug in. Apparently Samsung didn't make a different size plug, so you couldn't trade plugs out. Neither Samsung or best buy carried the adapter. When you spend this kind of money on a machine you want to make sure to use the correct parts etc. We ended up having to get an adapter from home depot. But it works great. And no actual machine related complaints. But seriously check your plug before purchase!

I love that I don’t have to hang dry my delicates or cover my dining room with things that have to lie flat to air dry anymore. The surface area of the top dryer is small, and it does not have the same soft close lid as the washer so it can be cumbersome to transfer things sometimes. On the lower dryer, it does a good job unless you have a mixed load, day towels and blankets for instance. The blankets will be dry, but somehow the towels will still be wet when it’s done. A little frustrating, but I’m still playing with the settings to see if there’s a selection that works better than the standard mixed load button.

This is the best dryer I have ever owned. You can't hear it running and clothes are dried quick.

High efficiency with the electric drying and very smart humidity control to maintain the balance between performance and efficiency. Of course I got a same type of washer which is a perfect combination. My later comment was I may consider the LG design which has the small unit under the large unit which is easier to access to. This unit is really tall without the bottom shoes. That's the only downside if you're a little short person.

The Samsung FlexDry Electric Dryer does cost more than many other dryers, but the functions and operation is well worth the price. I purchased this along with the FlexWash washer and really, really enjoy the products. Important: The dryer is a steam dryer and will require water hook up. When we first purchased the dryer, this was missed and I had to return to pickup a steam dryer installation kit to complete the setup. SKU:3762114 Smart Choice Steam Dryer Installation kit has what you'll need for that. Be sure your sales rep includes that in your order for the installers to have on hand. First off, the "Flex" portion of this dryer is the fact that it has both a top load "delicates" dryer and also a front load dryer. Really enjoy the ability to have two separate drying loads running at the same time. The delicates is great for drying an assortment of delicate items and accessories. They look and feel so much better than when ever dried in a regular dryer we used to use. The main dryer performance is very fast, much quicker than our prior Whirlpool dryers performance. That and the ability to perform a number of steam cycles. Forgot to remove the items and need to run "wrinkle away"? No problem. The dryer is very quiet. And the musical chimes rather than an irritating buzzer is greatly appreciated. In fact it's quiet enough that we take advantage of the Samsung Smarthings software to receive notifications on our smartphones. You can also control the dryer from the application. The black stainless steel that we selected does a great job of not showing fingerprints. There's likely a coating or something that is helping to prevent these. Just a once a week wipe with a microfiber cloth is able to make it look like it's right out of the box new.

I love it, easy to use and very efficient, minimal drying time even on large loads.
