I recently purchased a washing machine and dryer from best buy on NOV 26. I also paid for delivery and installation. After both items were delivered and installed i read the owners manual for the dryer. While reading it i saw it said that the duct hose from the dryer to the vent that goes outside of the house should be straight, not have any bends or dents because it can possibly cause a fire from lent that is trapped and not allow to flow correctly. At this time i went to take a look at the duct hose that was installed by the delivery persons. When i looked i found that after they connected the hose duct to the dryer and to the vent they pushed the dryer to the wall and completely crushed the duct hose. There is no way the hose that best buy provides for installation is compatible with all homes. There is no possible way a 8 foot hose is necessary or can fit between the machine and the wall with 6 or 7 inches of space between them when fully pushed back. This is a very dangerous situation, which has the potential to start a fire in the house. At this time i called customer service to express my dissatisfaction with the installation. I was told that i have to move the dryer, disconnect the damaged hose, return it to best buy to be replaced, take the new one home and then call to have someone come back out to reinstall the hose. This has to be the most inconsiderate policy i have come across. I did absolutely nothing wrong, so why after paying for installation that was incorrectly done would i have to inconvenience myself and do the work that i paid for. After speaking to a service rep I asked to speak to the supervisor who repeated the same process as the service rep and said that was my only option. My question is if i was a 70, 80 year old elderly person how in the world will they be able to do this? This service is completely unacceptable and you have lost a loyal customer. There is no reason that i paid for proper installation and i did not receive that service. The metal hose that you provide is not a universally compatible piece. If they didn't have the correct piece it was their job to say that and not just jam the dryer aginst the wall crushing the vent. I am completely disappointed and will never purchase anything from best buy in the future!

Great value. Easy to use. Feels like quality machine

I’m happy with my Samsung dryer, but sad that I can’t connect it to WiFi. Other than that the dryer works perfectly when it comes to drying your clothes. For the price, I will recommend this dryer.

This is my first appliance purchase and I must say I am very impressed. This machine is very efficient and easy to use.

Works well, no real issues. I would say the dryer settings sometime detects items as dry before they truly are and I have to use the time dry to get items dry and it will keep finishing before it’s done.

Purchased the Dryer and Washer together and have been INCREDIBLY happy with our purchase. The dryer is surprisingly quiet (we have two small children), so doing laundry at night used to be an issue with the sound waking the kids up, but these are hardly a hum. We paired the appliances with our Smart Things Samsung app and even get reminders on our phones when our cycle is done. Such a nice feature. Very easy to link as well. The guys that did our install were also super courteous and on-time. 5 star would recommend.

Best dryer I’ve ever owned! Simple to use with lots of convenient features. No issues over the past month of use.

Easy to use, quiet and it looks great. Controls easy to read. Like the large door, much better than my previous model.

Easy controls to use and understand. Quiet. WiFi is optional but it’s there if you need it. I didn’t really. Other than that it’s awesome.

Dries Well. Lots of options for drying. Looks good. We had another pair of Samsung with us for 7 years and they worked well so chose Samsung again.

I bought this to match my washer and LOVE it! Drys everything quickly and so easy to use. Really quiet too.

The Dryer works well and is reasonably quiet in operation. The eco mode seems like a waste, since it takes twice as long to dry the clothes. I guess it is nice to have as a feature, but I question its ability to really save on energy costs - who knows.

We like this dryer because it is quiet, efficient, and it does a good job of drying clothes without putting too much heat on them.

I like this dryer it is Big inside,dry's very well,and you can program it. easy to put in and take out my clothes because I am short.

The LG electric dryer is great not noisy at all and really easy to work with!

When researching washer and dryers I chose this Samsung line up in part due to my past experience owning a Samsung washer which I was very pleased with. In the month I have owned this dryer there is a bit of a struggle... it looks amazing, high tech and Wi-Fi enabled which is really cool but honestly it’s a bit intimidating when you first get it. It was actually easier to leverage the Smart Things app to set the laundry options than figure out what all the buttons and dials did on the front of the machine... but after a little bit of use, I got the hang of it! However I have two items i am concerned about after just a months worth of usage. The first being the cloths are not always dried when the dryer finishes it’s cycle. I often have to re-run a quick dry cycle to get the cloths fully dried. This isn’t due to a lack of air flow from a clogged dryer vent as it’s kept very clean, but rather I think a misconfiguration with the moisture sensors built into the dryer... Second issue I have, it’s squeaky as if the bearings are already going that hold the drum in place... At this point they are bought and paid for, I just hope I get the long term usage out of them I have come to expect from my previous Samsung washer and dryer...
