So I jumped from a 60 inch plasma (no smart) to this 70 inch LED (smart tv), so when I got this home on my 2 story family room huge wall I was thinking that it would look big enough for me to see the difference, well not really...I could have kept my 60 inch put my amazon fire stick on the 60 and made the 60 inch plasma a smart tv and waited to get a 80 or 90 inch...the 70 inch just did not make me say wow this is huge when I went to a 70 inch..... Now let me say i don't have buyers remorse and it was a cool purchase especially before our annual sleep over and christmas dinner with the family. Furthermore, you know that 60 inch went in my master bedroom which makes Mama want to watch every show and movie in the bed. Now that tv looks huge, but least for now...here is my thoughts even on my previous comment about not being blown away by the 70 inch...I just had 60 inch and honestly I think as a society nothing is really huge unless you haven't seen a 60 inch or bigger..that's why I put in my title if you going from a 50 to 70 huge difference, if not, don't expect to be blown away by the 70 inch especially since you are getting all screen and no surrounding lip for the tv look bigger. By the way this tv was so light, if I had the arm wing span I could have put it up myself..I digress. Here is my pros overall the 4k is amazing on this 70 inch, you do see the picture staggering on the fast motion as people has stated (randomly not to bad). It doesn't really bother me as I knew that based on the reviews. Price was amazing I bought this 70 inch for 1200 during the black Friday special at best buy Smart features are cool, you just will need enough bandwith to stream this tv especially when you are pushing 4k. I have 6 4k tvs and 5 mobile devices with one router with at least 30 feet from the recipients and the 70 inch tv might buffer from time to time when i have all devices on the network, with 4k content..all wireless 80mbs, netgear, no extension. That's it, I give it 4 stars just because the random and not often and to me not significant staggering on fast motion, besides that the picture is awesome and functional (by the way love the simple remote). Picture attached of other tvs running on the network 4 samsungs in the game room..no issues streaming..

This Samsung TV was purchased after our Visio 70" TV broke down after only 8 months outside of the one year warranty period and could not be fixed. Do not buy Visio, The color on this TV is beautiful. It's like being at the movies. Watching a ball game is better than being there. We purchased a 5 year warranty which can be renewed for another 5 years. We are very happy with our purchase.

TV is good. Remote is small, has no numbers, and is not like anything I've ever used. Hope Samsung goes back to the regular remote.

Bought this Samsung 70" to replace my 5 year old 52" and cannot be happier. The TV does not overwhelm the space its in and it looks phenomenal. (the reference pic attached doesn't do it justice!) The features are just right and when combined with my "new" Onkyo home theater system, (need HDMI ports, rather than the old RCA plugs) I am completely immersed both visually and audibly in what ever I am watching. I did install myself and the quick quick setup up guide provided makes it easy. I have three other Samsung's in my household due to the reliability. I have a 42" that is close to 10 yrs old. You will not be disappointed.

The TV is amazing. It's easy to navigate and had decent sound by itself even though we purchased the sound bar and sub woofer. For the money paid it was a steal and for being a Samsung product, well worth it.

This is my first smart tv also my first 70 inch screen. For the price I couldn't pass it up. Absolutely love it. Only downside i have is reaching the usb ports on the back when the tv is hung on he wall.

I purchased this television as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and I for our new home, when comparing it with other televisions at the store it seemed like the quality and color was bright and sharp, upon bringing it home the color was poor and There is a dark strip about 7-8 inches wide across the middle of the screen. I bought it on my best buy card & unfortunately cannot locate the reciept and best buy will not take it back-I'm very unsatisfied.. not only with Samsung but also with best buy. And when I think about the price we paid for this television for the "brand name" I'll be the first to say don't let that be your selling point.

Very easy to set-up with lots of options for inputs. The remote is small, simple and quick to learn with lots of functionality. I like the Smart TV features and it has plenty of sound without a stereo, but sounds great with my surround sound. I highly recommend this TV, especially for the price. It was nice to have free delivery to my home, as well.

The only negative thing about this TV is the unusual remote control with no numbers. You have to search all channels to receive the one you wish. Most people probably have satellite or cable, I do not. Over the air broadcast produces a better HD picture. I use a Roku streaming stick for channels I cannot get over the airwaves and the picture and sound are great. The price was a real bargain for a 70" TV. A 75" model, same brand cost another thousand dollars or more.

I recently bought the 70" model as my dedicated PS4 Pro gaming display and it does not fail to impress! It's large, crisp, and takes advantage of the consoles 4K capabilities. Not to mention it has a dedicated Game Mode that provides minimal input lag when enjoying online action. That being said, I would recommend this tv mostly as a dedicated gaming display as its movie playback and streaming performance is substandard for today's televisions. Fast moving scenes and objects will suffer from occasional motion judder or blur due to the panels 60 hertz native refresh rate. Luckily, gaming consoles such as the PS4 and Xbox One are optimized for 60 hertz refresh rates and are not ffected by any judder or blur issues. In short - If you're looking for a 70" display for a current gen console this is a solid performer at a reasonable price point (I scored this set for $1,299.99 during a Black Friday sale).

We got this October 2016 and it's one year later now that I write this & the TV is amazing! It's a great size and we all love how great it looks. The quality looks clean! I love the brand and wouldn't change TV brands.

Television has excellent picture quality. Very easy to setup with basic tv remote for everyone. Perfect for our family room but the only issue would be the source memory and universal remote portion can be cumbersome at times. But I'm a nick picker so for the general tv viewing population great purchase.

As many have mentioned and I will too; the remote control for this television is TERRIBLE!!! In an effort to simplify the remote with fewer buttons Samsung created a layered menu nightmare where about the only thing you can do with one button push is turn on the TV and change the volume and channel (but only up or down). I am sure market research led them to do this or that more people use the remotes that come with their satellite or cable boxes and not the one that comes with the television so why spend capital developing a good remote control. The next thing is the processor; as long as the TV is not streaming online content you are fine but if you are the cursor you have to use (from the terrible remote) makes the menus timeout because it moves so slowly and if are like 2 or 3 layers deep and have to start over again the frustration will begin to set in quickly. It’s a great picture and for the price a pretty good TV; but, if perfection is what you are after or something close then spend more to get more.

The tv is sharp, easy to setup, light, and clear. We are using it as a monitor in office setting. Clear view and good for many angles. Only thing is the remote is tiny and limited.

Purchased this tv for the "kids" game room. The quality of the picture is so good we swaped it for the main tv in our family room. My son loves playing video games on it. Can't say enough about the great color and clarity of the picture.

My husband and I love this TV! We get best of both worlds and we couldn't be happier!. It's easy to use, the remote makes it easy to navigate between the inputs and apps, and I also get the apps that I want. The smart view from our phone to the TV is amazing, we have been looking for a house so we have been doing "presentations" on the tv from our phone. The picture is clear, the sound is great, and like I said the tv is easy to use. The remote can also navigate your cable box. It might take a little more effort but overall easy.

I splurged a little. I mean I intended to by the 65" samsung. At small price more I could get the 70". Yeeeehaaaa. Yes folks, bigger is better. I have had zero, you heard me, zero problems with this set. Better still, I did find a lower price on this model and BB refunded me the difference. NO PROBLEM. If you've got room or even if you think you've got room get one like this. The smart features all work great too. Easy to get plugged in and working. GO BIG OR GO HOME

I bought this TV looking for one that would be great in my man cave. I absolutely love it! The picture is amazing and the sound is great too. I love being to have the options menu and getting twitter access and weather access instantly. The TV also recognizes what you have connected to it. I hooked up my cable box and xbox one and the TV knew what to label the both of them accurately! Also, having the regular browser built in is great too. I actually use it a ton!
