The television is amazing. However, I was unaware that Direct TV only has four 4k channels available.....three pay per views and National Geographic (extra cost). AND you would have to spend $300 on a DVR upgrade. So don't buy this solely for the 4k feature, as it will be awhile until it is readily available, and the tv will probably be a lot cheaper by then.

Had to upgrade and this was the perfect size! The picture quality is amazing. The price was well worth it.

This Samsung 70" 6300 series UHD TV is great for the price. Especially for someone who just wants to replace an older HD screen, like my wife. The difference in picture resolution is instantly apparent. It is ok for gaming, but definitely not the fastest refresh rate on the market. This TV is perfect for someone who will use it for everyday viewing in a family or living room. I have a THX certified 4K movie theater in my basement for serious movie or sporting event watching (so I have a good basis for high end comparison) and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this TV again based on the cost vs. features/resolution.

I got this tv on a black friday special and i love it. Samsungs quality in this product is amazing.

I love this flat screen great picture quality and sound. For now I'm only watching in 1080p because on programming not being in 4k yet. Blueray movies look perfect !

I did a lot of research before buying my new TV.And Im glad I did.After a month of owning this set I am still in awe of the picture quality.Especially when watching older movies over again...the upscaled picture blows me away.I got a really good sale price on mine but I would gladly of paid hundreds more if I had to in order to get this same TV.I cant say if I would like the remote that came with it as I use a harmony universal.

This set is a good value and performs well. Has a very good picture and with the sound bar addition has good sound. You can save some money buy shopping around.
