    This TV has great oucture and sound however it went out in less than a year of purchase. So disappointed. Wondering if its the quality of producta these days. Bought a fridge from here also and it has never worked right.

    Love my new TV! When I went to pick it up i didn’t realize that type of TV must stay vertical. The Best Buy staff offered free delivery which made it easy.

      Thank you for your review. You will need a Samsung Account to access Smart Hub, our network-based smart service that includes apps (e.g., streaming service apps) and our other smart features available through your device.

      You may need to use a separate device (laptop, desktop, or mobile phone) to create or log in to a Samsung Account. If you choose not to log in to a Samsung Account, you’ll only be able to connect to external devices (such as HDMI and terrestrial over-the-air TV with the use of antenna tuners).

      We appreciate your thoughts on the picture quality of Samsung’s Q60D TV. If the image you’re seeing isn’t to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to adjust.

      Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:

    Way too bright- The brightness of the TV makes in a strain on the eyes to watch - even adjusting the modes- it’s very bright.

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Q60D TV’s image quality. If you’re uncomfortable with the default brightness settings, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.

      You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices:
      1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
      2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
      3. Eco: Provided to save energy
      4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room

      If the image is still too bright, please try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions, as these will automatically adjust your picture and may cause your screen to appear brighter or darker than preferred.     I don't recommend this TV. I have never not liked a tv before, but I don't like this one. People's hair looks prickly and facial pores look really obvious. It's not a natural look . The audio is also sort of tinny, not full like our prior tvs. I cannot recommend this product.

    Randomly shuts off

    TV turns off on its own at random intervals. Resets and setting changes have no effect. Cannot get any support to help fox the issue. Sure, its a good tv when it works, you just have to get past the fact that it will turn off at some point on you.

      I'm sorry to hear your Q60D TV is turning off by itself. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds.
      2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage.
      3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet.
      4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

      Please also try disabling some of the TV's energy efficiency functions.
      Check if Sleep Timer has been enabled. The Sleep Timer automatically turns the TV off after a specific period of time. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > System Manager > Time > Sleep Timer

      If the Sleep Timer has not been enabled, see if Auto Power Off or Off Timer have been enabled and disable it.
      - Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off
      - Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > System Manager > Time > Off Timer
