    Not impressed with quality of this particular model. Purchased once and hdmi port was defective. Couldn’t insert cable because a prong in the port was bent. So returned tv Received another new tv of this model as a replacement for the defective one. Now this one, that I’ve had less than five days has developed an issue with the picture where it looks like individual pixels are sparkling like glitter. Will reconsider my rating if this problem is resolved. Not impressed with geek squad support either.

    Trash!after a month of use theres a line pop up.. and they replace it with another trash the volume is weak for real i think they gave me refurbished and thats not fair i pay full price

    I purchased this Tv on Black Friday and when I finally set it up; it had a flashing discolored bar on the right side of the screen. I get that its a 70” tv for $600 although it should function properly regardless.

    Last time I will ever buy a Samsung. So I have owned this tv for about 3 months now. I see a bunch of green dots all over. Frequently I get a loud noise then the screen goes blank for about 5 seconds. I highly recommend against purchasing this tv.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung TU6985 TV and sharing your experience regarding the apps and navigation. You can install, delete, and update apps to suit your preferences. From the TV's Home screen, navigate to and select APPS, and then select the Search icon in the top-right corner. Next, enter the app you want to download and select it. You will see detailed information about the app. From here, select Install.

      To optimize the smart TV performance, please try Device Care option under the Support Menu. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

      This service checks memory and frees up unused cached memory and closes background apps.

      Please also be sure you are running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

Unfortunately, even if a TV is double-boxed and the packaging shows no evidence of harm, a TV can still be damaged during transit if proper care is not taken. For example, if the TV were sitting in an incorrect orientation -- laid on its side or tilted -- during transit, damage could have been done.

    I purchased this TV as a 50th birthday Christmas gift to myself. I saw it and loved the price and snatched it up. I wanted a large TV to watch football on and this didn't disappoint. The screen is Vibrant, the colors are awesome and it looks like it's live in action sometimes. The sound isn't horrible but it could be better. When football is on, I have to put the volume up to the top or put on my soundbar. I have a jvc soundbar and it sometimes gets kicked off of the connection with the TV. Haven't figured that out yet. It has samsung TV plus with live channels which is awesome. The remote takes some getting used to using. Installing my firestick was very easy and easy to use. Overall a great TV. I would've given it a 5 of not for the volume issue.

    Looks great! Takes 2 people to set up due to size. Easy to use. High quality. Works well. I got a sound bar to go with it so the sound would match the size.

    I bought this TV as an up grade from my HiSense. Boy what an upgrade. Petfect for movies, ball games, everything. Great color & excellent value. I have had it about a yr now & i am just as happy as the day I bought it. I love the Samsung quality. Great buy...

    I’ve had this tv for a while now. I got it for a great price and love it. It works great and easy to set up. I’ve had it for a while now and it hasn’t had anything problems. I will continue to buy Samsung for their reliability in TVs .

    Pros: Crisp picture. Easy to navigate controls to watch TV or to stream. Built in speakers are decent. I did buy a Samsung soundbar/woofer combo, but the built in speakers would be fine. Price - I got this as a Black Friday deal and it was an excellent deal. Cons: This TV has almost no inputs. It has an optical plug one usb plug, and 2 hdmi plugs. I use TV headphones with my TV (for viewing while others are sleeping) and had to hook up the headphones through the optical cable and then Bluetooth the soundbar setup. This won’t be an issue for most people, but It was enough to almost return the TV for one with more inputs. Instead, I purchased a new set of headphones that had an optical connection and connected the speakers by Bluetooth.

    This is a great 70 in tv fits perfectly over my fireplace. Love the colors to to bright and the sound quality is awesome. Thin and lightweight was able to place over my fireplace myself love it.
