I was very surprised that it came with the Samsung TV package and the stuff they have randomly streaming are wonderful content. I’ve gotten hooked to this TV and can pretty much binge watch from day to night. That’s good and bad because there goes my weekends…

Not bright enough display to fill a room during daylight, even with max adjustments. This is an entry level big screen with subpar performance.

Purchased on a Black Friday sale 11/26/2021, delivered on 11/30/2021, it was easy to set up and have been mostly happy with it. The size is great. Upon installing on a wall mount, noticed there's a slight warp/ripple in the bottom right corner of the screen, which is noticeably weird at an angle, but it didn't seem to affect picture quality straight on, so we ignored it. Picture quality had been fine for the most part, but settings seem limited and it is difficult to independently adjust contrast, black and shadows for scenes that are so dark and inky that they appear black and devoid of detail. Its especially bad when gaming, regardless of the settings we've tried. Also, the audio isn't great. Not a good mix; lots of booming sound with quiet, muddled speaking voices. We've started having to use captions for certain programs. So, audio could definitely be better. Its a fine TV for the price we paid. But here's the real negative: We have owned it nearly a year, and then on 11/4/2022, three weeks before the manufacturer's warranty expires, it suddenly shut itself off and then started cycling on/off every five seconds with a black screen. Trouble shooting didn't resolve anything. So, we put in a warranty call and a repair man was sent out a few days later. He plugged it in, looked at it for roughly thirty seconds, and promptly said that the motherboard is bad and it needs full replacement. Said he'll be back in a week with either a new TV or parts to repair it. So now we are just waiting. Luckily, we're just under the wire to have it covered by the manufacturer's 1 year limited warranty. Always had good luck with Samsung in the past (last Samsung TV we bought was 11 years ago, it was perfect, and finally just failed) but after this issue, we're pretty disappointed with the quality so this will probably be the last Samsung TV we get. If you buy this unit, might want to get the extended warranty.
