Samsung - 75" Class - LED - 7 Series - 2160p

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We purchased a brand new [Samsung - 75" Class - LED - 7 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR Model: UN75RU7100FXZA SKU: 6325571] from Best Buy on July 6, 2019 and get it delivered on 9th of July 2019.After the TV was set up and mounted on the wall by a tech, we were using on and off since we didn't move in my current location fully. On the TV there appeared a line on it. After I saw the lines, I turned the TV off for 15 to 20 minutes to see if it turned back to normal, when I turned it on the lines rather got thicker and darker. I left the TV on to see what is going to happen and the number of lines keep increasing horizontally and vertically and suddenly a big dark spot appeared at the intersection of the lines. Since it is under warranty Contacted Samsung for replacement, but they said going to repair. I agreed since I don't want to see those lines and dark spot. Finally all refused after 6 weeks back and forth tech appointment. I am very disappointed with this product, never ever buy again Samsung products (second time for me). will not recommend any one to get this product. please research before you decide to get this product.

Light leaking between screen and frame

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like Samsung products, already had many Samsung TVs, but this one it is definitely the worst one ever, looks really cheap quality and finishing. but my big problem wasn't that, I noticed light leaking between screen and the frame, it was all around the screen. so, I decide to check the reviews, many reviews are complaining about the same issue. I went back to store, decide try one more time even with high possibility to have the same problem again. thanks good they didn't have any other in stock, the store attendant recommend me a LG 75UM7570PUD. I am really happy with this LG, much better image quality

Very disappointed

Nothing fixed this in settings. Called Samsung. They couldn't fix it. A repair order was made. Waited 2 weeks for a new panel to be ordered and the repair guy replaced it. Repair man-Excellent! Samsung tech-horrible! The same problem with the new panel. The repair man was even upset. He called tech support and they said that the problem was within acceptable range...what a joke! Who wants to spend that kind of money to have white blotches all over their screen?! Called Samsung back and now they are sending another repairman in about 3 weeks. Samsung...I was a HUGE fan. Now, I have lost all faith.

Promising but disappointed...

We discovered the TV either arrived in such way or within a few months developed a faded out are of consecutive pixels (like 20-25 pixels in a group). Not sure what is the policy to apply warranty, get it replaced? See attached photo about those annoying pixel issues (marked with a red circle), which not even noticeable while watching movies or shows, sports or other things which are not steady and light or white color in background. Please, be advise to apply all white, all basic colors and black for screen testing, so you could learn about it ahead of time. I am big Samsung fan from phones, tablets, TVs, Home Theater System, Washer, Dryer, Washing machine, etc, almost have everything, but after this it makes me reevaluate my future decision...

The worst

I have had Samsung out 4 times to correct a light bleeding issue, but they have been unsuccessful. Now they are saying it is normal and there is nothing they can do. Go with a different TV!

Now when turning on the tv there is always a white long line across the Middle of the screen . It is not gong away by changing settings and we are totally disappointed. We will not recommend anyone to buy this product.

Easy set up and connection to our computer and other devices. Casting is made easy without ever changing inputs (very convenient in meetings). Plenty of smart features to boot. Fits our application perfectly. Very happy with all our Samsung televisions.

Great Television

Of course having a higher refresh rate would definitely be better like an 8000 series model. But for the price to size and quality ratio this is a really good deal. The smart features are also easy to use and have a wide variety. I've completely cut the cable and use Youtube Tv as my main television program but then have Hulu, Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO GO, Starz, Cinemax, and History channel. This really makes it easy to use when I can easily switch to them with no problem or having to load another device. Although I do wish the stock remote was better and was more user friendly and had a different design but that is a small gripe in the grand scheme of things. So take the take away is good screen, good color, good smart features. Could have a higher refresh rate panel (Although it will never be close to OLED technology) as well as better stock remote. Also if you can hardwire this TV in with an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi definitely do it.

TV has a great picture and good sound, even without a soundbar. Setup was quick and easy, wifi and smart features work great. Definitely need two or more people to mount as it weighs about 80lbs or so. Picked up while on sale and overall very satisfied with my purchase.

It is very heave and definitely a two-person job. It has all the apps you would expect (I.e. Hulu & Netflix), but we were surprised to see that it also has Apple TV! You will not need an Apple TV to connect with your account with this television!!!

Super Big view

The only downside was an older complicated remote. sure after a few times usage you know the few buttons you need but the 9 Series has a simple button with a more intuitive menu.
