Awesome tv, seemed to be on the high side but compared to anthing smaller or cheaper it just blows them away. Was gonna go for the new suhd tv but didnt want to pay the same for a smaller screen. This one has an awesome picture and 4k videos looks awesome. 3d moves are a cool option but you have to get your own glasses.

This TV is simply AMAZING! From the moment the delivery crew took the TV out of the box and they plugged it in, the picture was emersive. I've never seen a picture of this quality ever! I own two other Samsung HD LED smart TV's. The picture on theses two sets are very good. I would have to say nothing compares to this 4K Ultra HD 3D TV. I would personally recommend this TV to anyone interested. I've also purchased a Pioneer Elite VSX-45 AV receiver that makes the sound in my home theater come to life. Everyone who has seen movies or regular TV programs on this TV with the 5.1 surround sound are totally Impressed. The upscaling of the digital cable content to make it as close to 4K on this TV is EXCELLENT! I can't wait until 4K will be the standard broadcast. I've watched movies on NETFLIX in 4K and I'm always impressed with the emersive experience this TV produces. Thank you SAMSUNG and BESTBUY for this great entertainment experience!

I shopped Samsung, Sony, and Sharp before buying this tv. I chose this model due to its deep blacks and bright whites, and the fact that i have been happy with my current Samsung 55in led. The only complaint i have is that the stand is fixed, and i am unable to turn the tv slightly for optimum viewing. A neat new feature is the Samsung Hub, a small box you plug all your HDMI cables into, then a single wire from that gets plugged into the tv. The remote is also very cool. It functions like a laser pointer/mouse. You aim at the tv then put your finger on the pointer button, a small circle appears on screen, and you use that to make menu selections. No more navigation using the directional arrows like on a standard remote. I play lots of video games and watch Formula 1 racing in HD, and the upgraded refresh rate of this tv is awesome. I haven't had any visible pixelation issues. Another great feature is the auto-detect of input. If i am watching Direct Tv and turn on my Playstation, it automatically switches to that input. When i turn off the game it switches back to the tv receiver signal. On my older tv i had to manually select the input each time i changed. The picture is amazing, but if you plan to wall-mount it be aware, this tv gets quite warm. I took some IR thermometer measurements after the tv was on for several hours. With the tv on it's stand about 1ft away from the wall behind it, and the adjacent wall at 77*, the temperature of the screen was 94*, and the top vents on the back were 101*. I highly recommend this tv. I will try to upload pics of the old 55in and this new one.

This TV has one of the best pictures I have ever seen. Along with the picture, the other features are pretty amazing. Voice activation, a pointer so you can make selections using a mouse style pointer, easy setup, and many other features that surprised me. This TV looks great on the wall of my new game room!

First impression was great since it arrived in the precise center of the arrival time window. Setup was very straight forward, just followed the instructions on the screen that magically appear at first turn-on. Once setup was complete, navigation through the many functions was very intuitive. Within the first few minutes the power of the smart controller was discovered. The picture was flawless, even after close examination with my nose close to the screen. I could see no aberration of any kind, however the makeup used by some of the news hosts could use some attention. As for the price, the 17 inch black and white TV purchased by my parents in 1952 was only 10% less that this 75 inch 4K theater when adjusted for inflation. And that was comforting when I handed the sales person my credit card. The only difficult part of the whole experience was lifting the unit and placing it on the cabinet. It was after all, rather heavy.

I was disappointed in 4K because I couldn't use it. TV didn't seem as good as when on store but does it ever? It's ok but not worth the amount we paid. But if you have a problem with it the geek squad is fantastic. They raised the score up.

First of all, I previously owned a Vizio 70" 1080 tv for 4 years before deciding to upgrade to a bigger Samsung tv since the prices on 4K tv's are dropping. I am glad that I spent the extra money to buy a Samsung. They do make the best TVs. The screen is clear when watching 4k movies. Some people say they do not like the remote control because it is small, but that is one of the things I like the most. I don't want a huge remote in my hands. if you are looking for a 4K TV, look no further, this is your baby! Also, there is a big difference from a 70" and a 75" TV - Some might say its only a 5" difference but its a big difference on a TV. Lastly, get a wireless Samsung bar and you will have the complete experience without wires.

Did a lot of research before upgrading from our 51" Samsung plasma. Wanted the vibrant colors, deep blacks and blur free off plasma, but larger size and updated technology. After a week, I'm very impressed with our purchase. Movies look lifelike and sports are vibrant with little to no motion blur. I was hesitant on the $1000 price jump from 120 to 240 refresh rate, but well worth it for a diehard sports fan. Set up was fairly easy, all updates applied automatically while the tv was turned off. Colors and clarity are excellent. The picture clouding some mentioned has been so minimal I wouldn't have noticed without looking for it. Getting the remote to separate the blu-ray functions from the surround sound was a bit of a chore, but doable. I've finally gotten rid of the 3 separate remotes, although there is some occasional lag in the remote function and it takes multiple steps to perform some basic functions. Annoying, but a minimal gripe. Enormous protruding stand (width) and short power cord are also convenience annoyances, but don't degrade from the overall performance quality off this unit. 4.5 out of 5 stars. The picture quality, color and smooth motion really quantify the cost of this tv, while the excessive effort needed in the remote and cosmetic design keep it from perfection.

The first review I posted was with the UN78JU7500 Curve, in which I had to return it back coz of the terrible GLARE it has, the UN75JU7100 was actually my first choice, when The Geek Squad came in to reinstall this unit, right there and there, we saw the huge difference and improvement on the panel, the image and picture on this unit is simply beautiful, crisp colors, sharp images and the black levels are really deep. Coming from a Panasonic Viera Plasma unit, this unit actually matches the black levels of the plasma units which are known for really. I would not hesitate to recommend this model to anyone, and what's best is the PRICE MATCH guarantee of Best Buy, coz when I got this a couple of weeks back, it was at $5000, then before Father's Day, it went down to $4500, they gave me the difference, NO QUESTIONS ASKED, TRUE TO THEIR WORD,.! Awesome BEST BUY,..!

You buy a 4k big screen TV for the quality of the image it produces and this TV delivers. The blacks are black and the depth of the colors make even 2D images appear 3D. We used the factory default picture setting with one small adjustment which is unique for us. Off angle viewing is great. The picture is even viewable without significant loss in contrast or color at almost 90 degrees off straight on. With a 4k input such as Netflix ultra HD the pictures are stunning. The TV upscales all input sources to full 4k display but the better the input the better the image. We bought a Roku 4 to provide 4k input but not sure that is necessary given the smarts built in to the TV. Still exploring the smarts so can't make a definite claim that it provides all that Roku does. The smart features are pretty good. We used a wired connection to our network so can't comment on the wifi performance. The remote acts like a mouse or a laser pointer where actions are accomplished by pointing the controller at the screen and moving a dot or arrow around similar to using a mouse. It is quite effective but not as good as with a PC. You have an option of using voice commands and adding a camera both to increase control capability. There is one negative that may be inherent in all large 4k TVs, glare. The glass display surface does not diffuse reflected light as our previous 52" HD TV did. I believe this is because the manufacturer did not want to diffuse or degrade the TV image. Also, the screen is larger so lights and windows that were not sources of reflected light with a smaller TV may now come into view as they did with us. On the positive side the TV is quite bright so only direct sources of light such as lamps and windows that are seen as reflections on the TV image are a problem. Furniture, walls, floors, and ceilings that are illuminated by other sources of light are not visible in the TV image. This is a large TV and it was delivered by two courteous men who unpacked it, placed it on the stand, plugged it in to assure it worked, and hauled off the old TV and all the packing material.

The new Samsung JU7100 is great. The smart tv functions work well, the picture is great and up converts the HD picture. I was torn between the new sony 75 inch 4k offering as they moved to an Android OS but Samsung has had a more consistent roadmap. If you are in the 4k market you are aware you are paying an early adopter tax as content is limited and non 4k tv's are half the cost. If you are having a hard time connecting out of the box via wifi use a ethernet cable to get the latest firmware for the tv.

We recently purchased the Samsung 7100 and have been very pleased. First and foremost its a flat screen, not curved which was a key factor when making our purchase. Are there better sets, sure, but most are curved and we find that more a fad, and not increasing the viewing experience. The set produces excellent color, with solid blacks. One concern from prior reviews was shadow boxing, but with some fine tuning of setting (see online forums and review sites for good suggestions) we found the settings that met our needs. We have one for movies, sports and everyday viewing. It's nice to have the flexibility to do this. Connectivity is fine with the One-box connection, and it is small and can be placed out of the way. The only item I would pick on here is the cable is too short. Samsung should give a 10ft cable not 6. HD content is limited but what we have been able to channel through the set has been top notch reproduction. Blue-ray is awesome as well. Overall the set was the right one for us. My issue is with the price. It's pretty strong and a bit more than we wanted to go, but then it is 75 inches. There is no need to spend more with the next series. This will meet all of your needs and then some.
