I was looking for an 80 inch 4k 3D tv but the only one that was at a reasonable price was Vizio but without 3D so I chose this one. The tv was delivered on schedule. You will need at least two people to set this tv up safely. The instruction manual is abysmal almost of no help. You are informed to use the online manual for help which requires the tv to be set up in the first place. The picture is vary good not as good as the SHUD Samsung sets that I could not afford or the Vizio but better than the other 4k regular tvs. I am neutral about the Mini One Connect. The One Connect is convenient for not having to reach behind the tv. The One Connect tries to be the hub of your entertainment center this is a small problem if you want your receiver to remain the hub. I don't use the One Connect for any connections other than the tv hdmi out for that reason. The suite of apps that come with the tv are standard nothing groundbreaking. You will have to work on getting this tv to work with your other entertainment components. The 3D functions good no problems. The tv looks great style wise. The tv connected to the Internet without issue. Two months so far with no major problems.

Upgraded from an *OLD* RCA tube television. No kidding, our technology was mostly from the 90's. We decided to go big, and we do not regret it at all. The large size fits our room just perfectly (open room with tall wall and cathedral ceiling). The viewing angle is great - it doesn't wash out no matter how far out you sit in our living room. We weren't impressed by the reflection off the curved screen in the stores. We chose a reinforced glass stand from another store that is long enough that the TV doesn't hang out over the edges (we didn't want holes from a wall mount). Make sure to check if your stand has a weight limit - we were looking at a different one and saw it only held up to 70 lbs. Realize that there just isn't much 4K out there right now. You can find some 4K content on YouTube, and it looks fantastic! Otherwise, we're stuck with what our cable provider can give us. Some channels look better than others. I was surprised that the NFL on CBS looks better that college football on ESPN. We got the tv calibrated by the Geek Squad. Yes, what they did looks nice, but we actually prefer the brighter "standard" setting with a few tweeks. The YouTube app is awesome most of the time, but occasionally our WiFi is a little slow and drops the signal. I don't have a YouTube account, I just go on and watch lots of music videos, nature shows, and concerts. Besides the quality and size of the picture, watching YouTube on the tv is my favorite thing. We haven't looked into a Netflix subscription yet, but it's on the horizon.

When will I learn...just say no when thinking about stopping into Best Buy. Having recently purchased a 70" Sharp Aquos, I was really not in the market for another TV. However, I DID stop into BB and took a look at the 4k TV's. Half an hour later a delivery time was set and I was the new owner of a Samsung 75" TV. I will have to say I am very pleased with the decision and the TV. Superb pic along with very easy setup. Not sure what the speakers sound like as it is connected to a SONOS wireless system (which I also recommend) The delivery folks were prompt and professional, in and out in about 15 min. My only regret is that I work about a half a block from BB and know I will be drawn back into the store and tempted with another fine piece of electronics sooner or later.

Got the 75" UHD 3D Samsung to replace a 65" HD 3D Samsung. Nothing wrong with the 65" at all, just wanted a bigger screen for our living room and put the 65" up in our loft for gaming! The picture on this model is gorgeous and the ample real estate of the screen is perfect for large rooms. Sound running through my 5.1 receiver using the Optical Sound input really brought my surround system to another level. Only problem I have found so far is that it does not want to play well with my iPad for screen sharing, but plan on getting a Samsung pad for that when I feel like I need it. Love Samsung products, have 4 Samsung LED TV's in the house now and all perform great, but this new UHD is the best I have ever seen! Streams well from Amazon and NetFlix. Nice apps too. All-in-all, if you have a large living room and want a large screen, this one is well worth the money. And the upscaling from HD to UHD is the best too. All of the cable shows and Blue Ray discs that we have tried are brilliant in color and depth. Highly recommend!

Om my hunt for a new 4K TV , I was blown away buy all the different TVs . I 1st got the Samsung 65 inch 4K Quantum Dot HDR SUHD tv . After a week the panel went bad . I brought it back and thought I would try the Sony's new 74.5 inch 4k HDR TV . I plugged in in and was blown away at the picture . It was so bad, my better half wouldn't even watch it .I fiddled with it for 2 weeks . Tried watching it in 1080I , 1080P , 720 . no go . It was horrible . So I went back and talked to the Samsung sales guy at best buy . I told him that I want a good 75 inch 4k LED . That I wasn't concerned with apps . I plug my computer straight into the TV and have for years . I watch all kids of TV , from sports to local news . I just want a good 4k LED tv , and it has to be back lit with local dimming , side lit sucks . So he showed me this TV . it was on display . Per usual as we all know TVs on display look amazing . I trusted the guy and bought the 75 inch . Has to order it . When I finally got it and brought it home , I was so nervous . I plugged it in , and WOW . I didn't even touch any adjustments . The Tv also has 3D that is active . In other words , you can watch any program in 3D . No it doesn't have HDR . But for the regular peeps that watch just about any thing , GET THIS TV !!!!!

You should not be disappointed with this one if looking for 75 inch 4K. Spent a long time evaluating TV choices. Don't settle for 65 inch. Don't need HDR. Works for wide angle in spite of what is said about IPS panel advantage over this VA panel. Screen is so bright that side view is better than what I've seen with IPS panels which are not as bright (sometimes scientific measurements are not relevant to real-life use). 4K movies are amazing (like Star Trek into Darkness), but real surprise to me was the 3D. Did not want 3D, but now I'm hooked. Got really good active 3D glasses online. Geek Squad wall installation was worth it. Could not be happier with purchase, especially for under $3000.

I have been looking at 4k sets for a year and Thisnone really stood out! Picture was pristine and colors are great and having 3d is also a major plus! Looks amazing for gaming, Xbox one, ps4 and wii u all look incredible! You will love this TV! I had previously went with a Sony 940D but was completely disappointed with how grainy and flat the picture looked. The 7100 Samsung smashes the Sony 940D with ease, no comparison! Also you can update the software on this set and get HDR ability! Don't muss this deal unless of course you have the funds for the newer KS9000 Samsung!

The picture quality is great. I love the menu options and the remote is fantastic. For a tv of this size at this price point, you can’t beat the quality.

I have not noticed any of the issues like flashlight effect in corners. This TV is awesome. Did not want a curved TV in our multi-window room and we have very little issue with reflection. Best Buy Geek Squad did a great job of hanging and connecting components.

I replaced my 65 inch Panasonic plasma 3d TV with a 75 inch UHD 4k passive 3d TV by LG. Stop the music, two images, maybe three and the background for the 3d blurred. Now, I maybe getting a head of myself here. The 4k UHD, HDR on the LG was great, but the 3d portion was like and old shoe, needed work, updating and maybe not even suggested by the salesperson. Got the Geek Squad out because they believed it to be an adjustment, not the case. The member noted after going through the setting and viewing some 3d that one it was the TV and it was so bad he had to stop watching it. No problem with the old plasma active and now the new kid on the block. My 75 inch Samsung, 4k, 3d passive TV. Wow, true theater experience and great 3d. I added a Marantz 160 4k receiver and the new Samsung 4k (the only player currently playing 4k disks in 4k not upsacling.) Cannot say enough good things about this TV. Yes, it was last years model and does not have HDR but it has the HDMI 2.0 so pretty good on that note. Colors are outstanding and real the 3d active portion let me say if you have never experienced it on a TV do it and believe me you will be sold on it. Great TV, and yes I would and have recommended this to several friends. Price, quality, warranty and a name you can trust make this TV a great no a fabulous buy.

I purchased this Samsung UN75JU7100FXZA LED Smart 4K Ultra HD TV two weeks ago. So far it's been picture perfect. We moved an older Sony 55 inch into the basement and purchased a 75 inch Samsung. We love it!! My wife would have trouble reading the guide on our old TV, No problem reading on this TV. It is so clear and sharp, that we still marvel at it every time we turn on the TV. My relative had a Samsung and after seeing their 4K TV I knew I had to have a Samsung. You get what you pay for, make sure your TV has 240 motion refresh, that's what gives it the detail. For a couple hundred dollars more, you'll marvel at the picture quality. The smart TV and built in WIFI work great, haven't lost a connection yet. Watch out for other brands, with others you have to connect to a smart device to adjust the picture quality. With the Samsung its just a click of the remote or the built in pointer in the remote. I love it.

Finally took the plunge and got a TV large enough for our room. We've watched sports, news, movies. Whatever you want to watch, you get a great picture! You can view this TV from any angle. We haven't been able to take advantage of all it offers yet, but we're very happy with what we've seen. Plus, it looks good on the wall.

This TV has the best picture available for the money. The screen is not dull like Sony and some of the others and the blacks are blacker than others. The Samsung user interface is also the best in my opinion. Wouldn't buy anything other than a Samsung at this point. I've tried others only to return them for a Samsung.

It's like being at the movies! It is the best TV I've ever had, mostly sony's in the past. Getting used to the remote wasn't too bad, I'm really liking it!! Even watching the news is amazing!!! Everything looks great and it makes my blue ray look even better!!

We worked with the Magnolia team to plan, design and install a complete system in our house. 2 TVs, Control 4, Sonos, In-ceiling speakers in 5 rooms, etc. This TV was a perfect recommendation by the Magnolia Team! We watch a lot of sports and movies and it does not disappoint! Crisp picture, quality images and great 3D. Our house has now become the place to watch Sunday football and weekend movies. I only wish we would have bought 2! We put a smaller lower quality Samsung tv in our Livingroom and I only wish we would have splurged and purchased a second one of these!

We replaced a 70 inch Vizio M series TV. The Vizio developed lines through the picture when it was 14 months old and out of warranty. This time we bought the more expensive Samsung 75 inch 7100 series UHD TV and we could not be happier! This is a great TV, the up scaling of the video from our TiVos could not be any better. If you are trying to decide between this Samsung and a cheaper brand, buy the Samsung. You will save money and aggravation in the long run.

Background Recently upgraded from a 75" Mitsubishi Laservue (L75A91). A standard 1080p DLP, lit by red, green & blue lasers, so it had fantastic colors, and blinding levels of brightness. Believe me when I say that the brightness and colors on this (standard) UHD television (i.e. without HDR, SUHDs quantum dots, etc.), is on par, and exceeds the brilliance of my 6 year old Laservue! You'll see it mentioned in other reviews, and I must strongly agree that even upconverted 1080i broadcast television, along with 1080p blu-ray media yields previously unnoticed levels of detail. As much as the upconversion of HD content wows me, native 4K content is on a level that is in a wholly different ball-park ...a ball-park on an entirely different world! I purchased this television, in an attempt to maintain access to my modest library of 3D titles and I can report that while the 3D looks good (bright, colorful etc.), I see far more instances of ghosting, than when viewing 3D content via my laser-powered DLP. The ghosting is subtle, but it is there nonetheless. While the picture and overall manufacture of the unit is all matters of pleasing to the eye, I noted that the"SAMSUNG" logo adhered to the bezel of the television was off-level by a few millimeters. Nothing major, however I would have expected better attention in quality control.

This is the best television I've ever had, and I've had many! From the design, to the picture, to the software, this tv does not disappoint. In 2D or 3D the picture quality is exquisite. If you like realism, this is the one to get!
