I had to downgrade my size due to a previous defective 80" Sharp television. This was a blessing in disguise! The picture is clear and I can't tell the difference with my new 75". My Geek Squad team were very attentive. I can't wait for calibration. I can't believe there's more picture to see! #teamUHD #samsungisthebest

We purchased this TV (Samsung UN75JU6500FXZA) on November 10, 2015 as a Christmas gift... And a 2 year extended warranty... Decided to open it up early on December 23, 2015 for my grandfather while he was out of town until Christmas day, setting it up, using it's own stand... Powered it on, appeared to work fine, then realized that we also bought a wall mount for it when we purchased it... Installed the wall mount, mounted the TV, turned it on, and was surprised by cracks behind the display...! Then, the display went black...Really...?!?! What happened? TV was mounted by 3 men with no problem... It looked as if someone threw a baseball at it... Contacted Best Buy (Geek Squad) and Samsung, and was told by BOTH that this type of damage ("physical" ) was NOT covered under warranty... I don't understand how something could just appear cracked on it's own and be told that it's not covered... So basically, without using the "actual" terms they were all saying that WE broke the screen and nobody is going to replace or repair the TV... THIS IS TOTALLY UNFAIR... Nobody should EVER have to spend more than $3,000 on an obvious faulty product and be told by all those involved (manufacturer & seller) that they are not going to stand by their product... That's just bad business... I was however referred by Samsung to have the TV repaired at their authorized TV repair company Precision Television in Concord, California as an "Out-Of-Warranty Repair" for $2,500...! Wow...! So now, my grandfather's brand new 75" TV just went from over $3,000 to $5,500, with not even an hour worth of usage... No new TV for grandpa... We've previously bought 6 TVs from Sony & LG with no problems at all, but this time, we thought we'd give Samsung a try... Boy was we wrong... Not only are we going to go BACK to LG, we are also going post this review on multiple consumer sites like Yelp, etc... I hope that this experience can be a good warning for all those who will lend an ear to listen... If you want to feel comfortable about your Samsung TV purchase, STAY AWAY... They just may leave you hanging out to dry...

It is a huge, huge TV. I Love, love, love it!!! The clarity is better than a 1080p. Although the sound could be a little better, I still enjoy my movies on it.

Purchased a Sharp 70 inch Aquos to replace a Samsung 61 inch DLP. An hour after the Sharp was installed I realized that I made a huge mistake not sticking with Samsung. I returned to BestBuy the next day and paid the additional $1200 + $100 for the difference in the warranty and arranged delivery ASAP. The Samsung arrived and I immediately saw the difference in picture quality. The picture is great for action movies and I am a huge sports fan and have not noticed any lag or motion blur. I have DirecTV which does not have much 4K content but if you venture on to YouTube you will find plenty of 4K quality videos which will make you very excited about what you have to look forward to with this Great TV! I started to purchase a Bose soundbar but after spending the additional money on the TV, I purchased a less expensive JBL SB400 which is a perfect companion for the sound which you expect when experiencing this TV. The BestBuy free installation for the 4K was professional and looks great!

Was in the market unexpectedly after our lower end 2 year old Shap 70" failed. Did some quick research and decided on either a Sony or Samsung. Went to Best Buy, and this 75" was on sale. Picture looked great as they all do in store. Bought it thinking a tv is a tv, not buying into 4K up scaling UHD hype. Wasn't really expecting to notice much difference just wanted to be up with the times and have my bare wall filled. It's been about a month or so and every time I turn it on I am amazed at the picture quality and bright vibrant colors! I never used any smart features on last tv because when they did work they took forever to load. This tv is different, they work and work quickly. This was my first Samsung purchase and I am now a big fan of the company.
This is also the second flawless delivery and set up that I have received from the geek squad.

I purchased the 9000 curved 78" before this TV and yes it was a lot better. But for me the 60hz vs 120hz/3D wasn't worth the extra $3000 at the time of purchase. If money isn't a concern get the 9000. This TV has amazing color and picture but there is a little motion blur(to be expected with 60hz). The sales reps will let you know this at the time of purchase. One thing that would've been a deal breaker was the adds that pop up when watching tv. There is an app that stops those completely(or you can keep it offline).

Our 6 yr old Samsung 63" plasma died like many other Samsung owners': screen went black and TV emitted an annoying, constant clicking sound. Coincidentally, the same thing happened to my brother-in-law's Samsung about a month before. Been wanting a larger TV (at the time, 63" was largest available for purchase), so not terribly disappointed. I considered 2 logical options: Samsung 75" 4K or Samsung 75" 1080p. I continue to think Samsung has the best picture of all the larger TVs (esp. compared to Sharp, which incidentally is getting out of the business) so key criterion was Samsung. Also wanted larger than what I had so looked at 75" and 90". 90" was $15-20K: too much for a TV. Unfortunately, I thought the 4K meant 4 thousand lines of resolution, not 4 thousand dollars! Despite being double the price of the 1080p, I reasoned the $4K 4K was worth it because it will hopefully last a while and programming (esp NFL games) will be in 4K soon enough. The 1080p would be already outdated from inception. Sort of like buying an older model iPhone - need the latest features if you're gonna keep it a while. Hope this helps!

Very happy with our purchase. We originally bought the 65 inch - same model etc - which actually looked too small in the space (room is very big). Best Buy was great about allowing us to exchange for this bigger one. At first I wondered, holy cr@p, this is big - is it too big? Should we have went with a 70? But a 70 wasn't available in this make/model. Sony has a 70, but I've always heard stick with Samsung. Anyhow, now that I've been watching it for over a month - my eyes are used to it - and I'm more confident it was the right choice. This TV looks awesome in the space - room is very big with tall ceilings. Picture is great. Hope it lasts for years because it's a pretty penny. Got a sound bar to go with it too because why not - awesome TV needs even more awesome sound.

So i have been waiting to buy a samsung for 4K Tv for about a year now and happy to say this television was worth the wait. The pixels and color ratio stand out beautifully. I watched a upscale version on one of my blue ray movies and it was a vast improvement . I always buy samsung tv's bcc the color stands out much more than other brands. If you want a awesome sound to go with it as well i recommend getting the Sonos sound bar & subwoofer...you won't be disappointed.

It's been approx 1 month since I purchased this TV. The initial problem I had with the TV came with trying to find a setting that didn't cause a motion blur and/or soap opera effect.
I went back to Best Buy after a couple of days after purchase to get assistance with finding a setting that worked 95% of the time i.e., provides a good picture regardless of whether I'm watching regular TV, blu-ray, roku, or chromecast. We were told to try the sports setting and/or talk to geek squad. My husband and I went over to the geek squad and the recommendation was to do a replace/exchange.
We exchanged the TV and the problem still occurred. I tried the sports setting and it was just as bad. In the end, I ended up using the "Natural" color and modifying the sharpness (increased it to 65) in addition to a few other tweaks. So, it's about 90% OK for most viewing. Occasionally, I will get a soap opera effect with a blur however it seems more to do with the source of the broadcast (analog vs digital, etc). I did consider getting it calibrated however I read many negative reviews that it wasn't worth the money. People still had a bad picture.
I do not know what the 4K is like since I have yet to watch anything with that filmed in 4K. I guess I need to search Netflix for a show that I haven't seen yet.

Absolutely love my new fantastic Samsung 75'' UHD TV. Cannot stop watching it. Losing sleep because I don't go to bed and stay up watching ballgames, movies and nature shows are killer on it......Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Travel Channel and Cooking Channel. So glad I chose Best Buy to help me with my purchase and the ''Geek Squad'' for delivery and set up.

This TV had great reviews. This is not our first Samsung and will surely not be our last. Very easy to navigate the apps both added apps and those preloaded. Much easier than the older Samsung we moved to the Guest room. Only negative would be the sound, we will need to add a sound bar or surround sound. Bigger room bigger TV bigger sound.

We had a rear projection TV that was still working but we couldn't read the scores on football games and the TV Guide was almost hopeless due to fuzzy print. This TV is absolutely amazing - incredibly sharp. The only problem we have had is the stand is a bit short and the cable box will not fit between the TV and the Cabinet it sits on.
