A lot of delivery services cannot find my apartment, and these guys found it no problem. Great experience. Oh and of course the TV is amazing it is a Samsung.

While watching TV, a black 5” line covered the right side of the TV, in 5 mins the entire TV went black. I burned my hand on the back of it, as it was very hot. The 2nd Samsung burned out within a month before???Whats wrong with these TV’s

Your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings and configure the TV settings to your taste with additional functions.

We appreciate you sharing your experience with the AU8000 TV. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.
4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

My 2nd TV from Best Buy, within one month, was a Samsung 75" class 7000 series which I returned because it didn't have a built-in Alexa. Now I have the 8000 series. This one has Alexa, Bixby, and Google Assistant. Alexa and Bixby do not work properly. I am so disappointed, I paid more money for the Alexa. I complained 3 weeks ago and no return call or email.

For more information about the usage and settings of Amazon Alexa, run Amazon Alexa Settings. Go to Settings > General > Voice > Amazon Alexa Settings.
When the TV is far from you or the ambient noise is too loud, the TV may be unable to recognize your voice. For the best results, you will need to be within 10 feet of your TV. Please look at your TV screen and speak.
If you haven’t already, we recommend turning on the Voice Wake-up function as well. Press the microphone button on your remote, then go to Explore Now > Settings > Voice Wake-up.
You may also want to try re-pairing your remote to your TV by doing the following:
1) Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds.
2) The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backward-pointing arrow.
3) The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.
If your remote is still not working properly or its response is slow, please check the remaining battery of the Smart Remote by going to Settings > General > Power and Energy Saving > Available Remote Battery.
