It’s pretty dim, especially for a main room tv if that’s what you are looking for. I’d say this is a great den/bedroom/basement tv and look elsewhere for a main room tv. The price is right but there’s a reason for that price, as long as your cool with that then you’ll be happy with the set.

Thank you for purchasing the 2021 Samsung AU8000 Crystal UHD TV and sharing your thoughts on the image quality.
If you are not satisfied with the default brightness settings, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.
You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices:
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.

MY 75 " SAMSUNG LED SCEEN BURNT OUT possible fire

The Geek squad tells me I can not get an new TV!!! This goes against the Best Buy policy

Samsung only does 12 month manufacturer warranty and it takes 3 weeks for Best Buy to be able to send someone out to look at it. It’s cheaper and easier to just buy another tv.

Of course when we called Samsung it was no longer under warranty. We replaced it with a much more affordable tv and haven’t looked back since.
