Coming from a 65" Sony Bravia X900F, This TV takes it. The build quality wasn't as nice as the Sony, but for the price and picture quality, Samsung is miles better. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Samsung TV settings are a bit tricky to navigate at first, I had to manually turn HDR10 + for my Xbox One X, eventually figured it out. Disappointed there is no Dolby Vision but not a deal breaker, 120Hz refresh rate is nice but only outputs 1080p. Nonetheless this TV gets a 10/10 . Pictures do not do the TV size justice. The 4K output is amazing when watching titles like Avengers Endgame. If you have the extra $$$, I'd suggest pairing this TV with a Dolby Atmos Soundbar or receiver.

Can't believe the visuals! We feel as if we are actually there, even older DVDs look amazing!!! The sound is good. We have surround sound and sometimes there's an echo we have to deal with. We usually turn tv sound down. The remote is very touchy and a bit hard to use/ manuever. Overall very happy with this purchase.

So far so good.
Nice picture, and easy to set up through smart things app. Couldn't resist the $1000 price.
But I did have to connect my surround system and satellite receiver on separate HDMIs. Taking the satellite through the receiver the ARC connection failed to allow the TV to control the power on for the Denon surround amp, even though the previous series 8 Samsung worked fine in that setup mode, only thing I changed out was the TV......weird.
More......I purchased this TV to replace a 3 year old 8 series 75" Samsung that had shadowing vertical bands and a dark spot, Samsung were no help with the TV being out of warranty.
Purchased the 5 yr cover on the new one for piece of mind, hoping for better luck this time around, previous 4 large screen TVs have been Samsung, if this one fails, it will be my last Samsung.

This is a very good tv with vibrant, accurate colors. I do recommend going into the picture settings and playing with the picture styles and settings to get the most pleasing look to your eye. It's not bad out of the box but customizing it to your taste will make it better.
The Tizen o.s. is a pleasant surprise. It has a good selection of apps and it is easy to use. It is also extremely fast and responsive. I have fire sticks and Rokus on other tvs and I much prefer the Tizen.
The remote gets a lot of criticism but I think it works pretty well. The voice command feature is useful most of the time but sometimes it can't or won't do what it's asked. If you don't like the remote you can always get a Harmony and program it.
Bottom line, I am very happy with this tv and recommend it.

This TV was sold out multiple times so I was excited to finally get this when it came back in stock (it was sold out again within the hour of me purchasing!). I had a 65 inch Samsung TV I purchased back in 2014, so as you can imagine, this was a huge upgrade for me. It’s insane how much the quality has changed in terms of picture, sound, color and even style. Both fire stick and Apple TV work great. I haven’t tested out the apps yet though. I never really thought I was much of a “TV person” but I’m very excited about this one.
Having said that, the 75 inch is a HUGE TV. I thought the small increase in size would be great for my new home where the ceilings are soaring high (17+ feet). I just didn’t think the 10 inch increase would make a huge difference but it actually does. Definitely use painters tape to measure it out and see how it looks in your space. I usually do but didn’t think I needed to since I thought the 65 inch was already on the smaller size. Turns out the 70 inch would have been much much better.

This TV had a 120 native refresh rate which many others did not. After I bought the TV which was on sale Best Buy had another sale the next day and gave me another $150 off. So a TV this size for under $1000 is a great buy. I would highly recommend this TV as the picture quality is great and sounds good. I could not be happier.

Excellent picture from the Samsung, 75", Class 9 Series, LED 4K, (Crystal) UHD, Smart Tizen TV. Using it in a church fellowshiphall for Facebook live broadcasts from the main sanctuary and for multimedia presentations. The TV is wall mounted with the Sanus Premium Series, Advanced Tilt Wall Mount, and the sound is enhanced with the Samsung, HW-T550, 2.1ch Soundbar with Dolby Audio / DTS Virtual:X (2020). The TV is well equipped with 4 HDMI (including 1 ARC for single remote operation with the soundbar), LAN, USB, and optical audio. The new, slim remote is easy to use for both the TV features and soundbar volume. I recommend this item.

I would love to give it 5 stars, but the picture quality is not quite there. But, for under $1000, 75 inches and 240 refresh rate, you can't ask for much more for that price. Overall, I like it for the price, but I'd rather have purchased the Samsung Q70.

I love this TV. It is for a large room though. Out of the box, the settings are not great, but after you go into settings and select the expert setting, you tune the screen to your liking. Do not let that intimidate you as it is very user friendly. Once picture is tuned, do the same for sound. Nice Bright Screen, crisp, clean colors as well. Probably the best tv for the price.

Great TV for the price. I didn't want to go QLED as the price jumps substantially but still wanted a great picture with high refresh rate. This TV is another great one from Samsung.

The TV did what is was suppose to do.
--It displayed movies well and with a clear picture.
--It gave a smooth picture when connected to my PS4.
--The price seemed to be fair compared to the competition.
I am hoping that it also performs well with my computer but I still need to get a longer cable to hook the computer up to it.
This TV really deserves 3.5 stars but I could only choose whole numbers, so I picked 3.
So here are the negatives:
--The display is bright as long as you don't place the TV near a window on a bright day. A darker room works great.
--The sound control is BAD. The TV speakers seem to do a bit better than I expected but the sound is more on the lower frequencies. The setup menus have 3 options for sound control but nothing that will give more emphasis to the mid-frequencies so that it's easier to understand the dialog in some movies. It's seems sub-par for a TV that costs over 1k. I will need to get a sound bar and it sure won't be a Samsung!
--Some of the free movies on the Samsung internet channels have too many commercials. Depending on the movie, you might get a commercial break every 10 or 15 minutes and it consists of three 2 minute (or longer) commercials. That's right, maybe over 6 minutes of commercials at one time. I will not watch Xfinity movies for that reason, and I wont put up with it from Samsung either. BTW, be sure to always mute the commercials, it removes most of their negative impact (do the same for CNN and other legacy news).
--The remote has very few buttons, so it takes twice as many button pushes just to switch the input for the TV.

Thank you for purchasing the RU9000 TV and for your review. We appreciate your feedback regarding your user experience with watching Samsung TV Plus and with the remote and will share it with our internal teams.
I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the brightness levels of your picture. If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright you can try Dynamic Picture Mode, or manually adjust the Brightness settings to your liking.
Dynamic Picture Mode will make pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to: Settings > Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic
Or manually adjust the Brightness and other settings to your liking. Go to: Settings> Picture> Expert Settings
You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.
Ambient Light Detection will also automatically adjust the brightness level of the TV, according to the ambient light level, to reduce power consumption. If Ambient Light Detection has adjusted the screen brightness to a too bright or dark level, you can select Minimum Brightness to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection
To change the Sound Mode, navigate to Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
In addition to selecting from several Sound Modes and advanced settings to meet your personal preferences, you can also customize the sound with Expert Settings. Home > Settings > Sound > Expert Settings.
To assist you with possible settings adjustments for a better audio and viewing experience, please reach out to us at:

Purchased this TV due to my spouse being legally blind and critically ill. Also was in the middle of the pandemic so there is nothing to do but watch TV. The picture is clear, bright, and very big. The Geek squad installed the TV, of course for a hefty price and it went well. The remote is small and took a little bit to get used to working with it.
