First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
Next, run a diagnostic test. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. If there are no issues during the Picture Test, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, first, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing lines.
- If the shadows still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device.
- If shadows appear during the Picture Test, service is needed.

We were not looking to spend the money for a mid to upper tv. This tv was easy to connect, set up and use once in place. Excellent picture and performance and works well with our room size and lighting. Replaced a 65" 120hz refresh rate tv that quit working with this 75" 60hz refresh rate tv. I had some concerns initially going from a 120hz refresh to the 60hz refresh but my old eyes can't tell the difference. Took us a couple of days to adjust to the larger screen size. Initially we thought that it was too large but now love it especially for movies and sports. Consider this an excellent tv for the price.

Software is a little sluggish and occasionally buggy. Sometimes I have to unplug it and repower it up to connect to my internet.

The sound is great. It was a simple set up 2 seniors had it up & playing within 1 hour! It had all sorts of built in programing. We are using all SAMSUNG TV viewing options with so many free channels it was a surprise to us. VERY HAPPY!

Wanted to give 5 star but i didnt like the remote as the navigation buttons are almost damaged in just 3 months.

The quality of video isnt anything to brag about but is 100% better then TLC or the cheaper brands. Game mode js okay but the hdr just shoots white so hard that its blinding even after fixing it through the tv settings and console. Now for movies on Youtube. It has a heck of a time even with it being plugged up. It pauses the audio off and on ever 30 seccounds. I have to the console to watch movies from the xbox app instead of the youtube app on the tv. Its the only app that has isssues.

We appreciate your feedback on the CU8000 TV. Please know we are here to help and have a few suggestions that may improve your experience with the YouTube App.
First, I recommend running a cold reboot on your TV. There are two ways to do this:
1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
Next, I recommend ensuring the YouTube app is up to date by going to “Apps” on your Smart TV and selecting “Settings” from the top right corner. Next, select the YouTube app and select "Update," if available. If the issue persists or if there is no Update available, we will try deleting and reinstalling the YouTube app. To do so, navigate to “Apps” on your Smart TV and select “Settings” from the top right corner. Next, select the app. Finally, select Delete, and select Delete again to confirm.
Then, we will reinstall the app by returning to “Apps” on your Smart TV and selecting “Settings” from the top right corner. Click on “YouTube” and then select “Reinstall.”
Also, please ensure you are running the latest Firmware update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
