This is a 5th Samsung TV I purchased in the last 3 years. Never had an issue, but this one is just not up to par. It seems the software is full of bugs. Every few days the TV is losing the wifi credentials. I have a perfectly fine wifi signal in my house. A different TV was on the same spot and never had an issue with wifi connection. This one regularly shows that it can’t connect to internet and I have to re-enter the wifi password. Picture quality is not great either. It seems that there is a soap opera effect even when I turn off the smooth motion etc. Colors are not right enough. At this point I am not very happy. Sound is also very shallow. I have to put the volume up to 50 sometimes. I never had to set volume this high on my other Samsung TVs

Thank you for sharing your experience with the CU8000 TV. I'm sorry to hear it has not lived up to your expectations. Please know I have a few recommendations that may improve your experience.
First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software update.
Next, let's try running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
You mentioned utilizing Motion Smoothing settings, but to be sure, I will put them below. For optimal motion image performance, please try adjusting the picture clarity setting by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings.
- Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
- Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
- Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.
To adjust the colors you are seeing on your screen, please go to Home > Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best suits what you are watching.
For optimal sound, I recommend adjusting via Expert Settings by going to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings.
