Out of the box the TV was great, not terrible to set up. Picture was clear and crisp. As soon as the 1 year warranty was over white vertical lines started appearing and haven't gone away. Watching live sports is almost impossible

Don’t buy a Samsung. The picture quality is horrible. After a few months we started seeing vertical lines in the background. Talked to customer supppirt and they said it needed to be repaired. Blew my mind!!! I can’t believe after only owning a few months and the piece of junk already needs to be repaired. Lesson learned. Don’t purchase any TV over 2000 dollars. Even the cheaper TVs last longer

Nice large TV at a very reasonable price. Colors and brightness good. Easy set up. Not crazy about the one wire setup. Nice to keep multiple wires hidden. But PITA if you want to hook up a video camera, Apple TV, fire stick, ect. No HDMI or USB outputs on the TV itself. Thought there was a choice how to hook up the external devices but they MUST all run through their single cable to an external multi-source box. Still would be nice for a separate plug and play HDMI or USB port in the TV. Lastly the sports seem to be a little blurry with motion, especially since this was supposed to be a 120 refresh rate with enhanced to 240 refresh. My 6 yr old 65” Samsung Plasma handled the motion better. But that TV replaced my kids gameroom TV that died. Thought I was getting the bigger better deal. But other than sports I am overall happy with the picture on the TV

good product. great picture especially in 4K. I have had for a few weeks and I am very happy with it. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is
1) the manual is kind of worthless as far as showing you how to get to settings(more than just the 4 little settings that adjust picture)
2) If you plan on hanging this on a wall(and come on why the heck wouldn't you) get M8 45mm. Don't ask at the store as it seems no one has an idea.
If you buy any TV larger than 65" (mine is 75") I strongly suggest you mount it on the wall...you will love it!
did anyone read this review? If you did comment the word "green."

I purchased tv in destin FL. Great service from there accociates. Tv in box is very large. Filled the bed of a dodge 1500. Need two people to manipulate this item. I have read the reviews with the qdot .... blah blah.... I would purchase the mount that allows tv to move forward and back from wall. Made it easier to look and see the hooks connect on mount . Connections was very easy. I connected direct tv, surround sound, 4K player, Xbox, and a wii u.
Turned tv on and it automatically setup everything. Tell you if parifisls will be voice command. Super easy. Be prepared to type or (voice command) the passwords. Made it super easy. Just select the input box you will feed then press voice button on remote and say your email. Then password.
Screen production is great. Played movie in dark and bright room. No bleed over colors was wonderful. Voice command picture zoom, size, settings..... very quick response ..Voice command is superb on this model.
Switching between apps and sources is effortless and super fast. Internet is great. Very fast internet response and great options for searching through google or other search engines. You can add a keyboard but voice recognition is awesome.
Games play great. Very smooth and no ghosting (Xbox one). There is a game mode on the tv.
I must say I really like the remotes function and it fits great in hand.
Tv cost a little but you really feel the wow factor for not buying a 6000 version. Really a great tv all around. I did not check the angle view because it is on a wall in a octagon room.
Makes the room look like a little theatre. Very happy with it.

As far as Smart TVs go Samsung has nailed it. Love the new controller and that it automatically found my new Note 8 during set up so I am able to control the TV with my phone (an added bonus when you can't find the remote again). The picture is amazing and I was easily able to adjust the settings so that it doesn't have that horrible Soap Opera effect just stunning immagr quality. I can even shoot 4k video with the Note 8 and view it directly on the TV wirelessly with just one click. Couldn't be happier!

Coming from a 60 inch 2013 sharp aquos with bad upscaling and bandung issues, this TV is elite. It fit into my kia Sedona van with the 3rd seats down and middle seats pushed out towards the doors, in the box.
It only requires 1 cord to be run through the wall, and that is the media center cord that comes with the tv. The Recessed power outlet is still needed at tv height as well. All the hdmi ports are at the media center box at the end of the single cord. It (the media box) has 1 optical out for tv audio out, 2 usbs, and 4 hdmis and possibly an ethernet jack. I've been using my 5g wifi at 150+Mbps and haven't even looked for a wired option. The shows and movies load instantly even in 4k uhd. The remote programming is a little wonky with volume controlling my older receiver when using built in apps like 4k Netflix or uhd Amazon prime. It always works after programming it, controlling the volume on my stereo on tv inputs though, like direct tv, xbox, etc.
75 inches does not seem too large, in fact the 80 or even 88 inch still seems tempting.
The upscaling of direct tv 1080i and 720p is superb, it takes a bad picture and really improves it. I have no problems using the harmony smart remote with voice control, although some portions are limited. I can turn in the TV, adjust volume, change cable channel, but can't program it to launch apps yet after turning on. So "hey Google, Netflix and chill" is still a work in progress. The tv does have the option to launch the last app or a certain input on startup.
I'm not blown away, but I'm impressed with the downright consistency of the picture quality. I've noticed some local dimming issues like white spots on black screens in dark rooms, but only very rarely and exclusively in vivid mode, not particularly noticeable.
I'm very glad to have the 8 series incase the 7 was a step down on anything. The outer bezel is quite thin, beautifully thin. The led back lighting behind the tv really improved the look and feel of the tv size, picture, and image quantity. The cpu is fast, very fast. On screen controls are snappy and I haven't seen a loading screen or loading circle since I bought it.
UHD from apps is adequate, but never enough. Fandango app is good for uhd purchases. Google movies app on the TV doesn't show 4kuhd unless you buy a chromecast ultra, but you tube app on the TV does 4kuhd. Netflix app does uhd 4k but doesn't have a uhd category, which is annoying to find them. Amazon prime video app does have uhd categories, but limited uhd content. You have to enable hdr+ in tv settings to allow direct tv input to play uhd, otherwise it says your tv doesn't support 4k. The apps are quick and unlike my other tvs, I prefer to use them over my other streaming options, like chromecast, Xbox one s, etc. There is high quality software integration with direct tv, like guide, dvr, etc through the main tv interface, we still use the direct tv remote often though.
Very fast power up and on, less than 3 seconds. The audio options are awesome. You can use any Bluetooth speaker, any Bluetooth headset, wifi speaker, and optical audio out.
Don't get too excited for the voice feature of the remote, it isn't great. I find Google home paired with harmony smart control to be much better, faster, easier, and consistent for powering on everything, changing channels, volume control, etc.
The motion blur is handled well and I enjoy live sports daily. In fact you have to really look closely to notice any motion blur at all. It's there, but honestly it helps me track the tiny golf ball moving 100 miles an hour. There is a game mode to reduce input latency, which is nice for gaming especially fps.
The tv shows notifications automatically from my Samsung smart fridge on the screen, like hey the fridge door is still open. The best is the tv mirroring on the fridge, only compatible with Samsung tvs. Also, the sports app notifies me when the backs game is about to start.
Overall, a great purchase, great value. If you're on the fence, go for it. It's sexy from end to end! # longestreviewever

I purchased this television online during the Black Friday deals. It was at a very good price for a 4k HDR screen of it's size. I ended up wall mounting it due to the stand footprint being larger than my roughly 5 foot TV stand, so I'd keep that in mind if looking to purchase it. Picture is absolutely beautiful, bought the 4k Planet Earth 2 Blu-Ray just to help show the amazing color range. Stock settings were fine, but if you don't know how to calibrate the picture may want to look into getting it done since it helps get the most out of the screen. Frame rate and picture quality are high enough that my dog and cat think that it is a weird new window, and it's pretty funny watching them stare at the screen in between testing my patience chasing each other around. First time I've seen them sit next to each other without them trying to tackle each other. Make sure that the cables and devices are actually capable of passing the signal properly. Had to upgrade my HDMI cables to get my Xbox One X to talk properly. Connected Apps are standard Samsung, not bad at all though I prefer the Xbox interfaces personally.

The thing about technology is that it will plateau once it becomes mature. Like THD specification in audio equipment. It's easy get great sound at a resonable price today. Well, the same I believe is true for video. I waited a long time before I bought my first 4k TV just to make sure the technology got somewhat close to the video plateau point. Now that we are close to perfection in the 4k arena, it's a safe time to get your money's worth out of a 4k set.
The thing I love about this set is 1) its a Samsung and they make great smart TV's. 2) it's very bright, sharp and colorful in a realistic way with outstanding contrast... and yes it will go completely dark in a dark room. 4k is simply dazzling on this set. I do not see a pronounced difference between this technology and the latest. The 75" is awesome ... the only cost with the size is lifting it....it's almost beyond the ability for a single person to handle, but I did. The tech side of it is excellent and the hub is very well designed and its integration with other peripherals is intelligently designed.

Samsung has become one of my favorite TV brands. They are very reliable and feature-packed for the price. The picture is big, bright, and beautiful. Also, I really love the simple remote. I can use it alone and put my Directv remote in a drawer. This is the first TV where I haven’t stored the TV remote in favor of the Directv remote. Everyone is wowed when they see this TV.

Absolutely love the quality of this TV. I've been hesitant to buy a 4K TV for a while because of the fear from buyers remorse and the price I'd be spending on a luxury item. After numerous reviews and research between brands I'm very happy with my decision. The picture is crisp and very clear (please make sure you buy a 4k cord, I thought my regular HDMI cord did the trick but when I swapped cables, my whole life changed). The remote controls everything I have hooked up that I didn't have to sync myself. The TV was smart enough to figure that part out. But I think my favorite feature of the TV was the design of how the hook up of all my devices to the TV organizes all of my cables. You have to buy it to see what I mean, but Samsung definitely came through with the high quality for this TV.

There is a similar 75" TV by Samsung that was quite a bit cheaper but the sales team and my husband convinced me it would be worth it to spend the extra money because of the color and picture quality difference. This TV did not disappoint! I am thrilled with the picture and they look of the TV on our large wall! Would recommend to anyone.

I read the reviews before I bought this TV and was worried about spending so much, but I'm glad I did!!!! This TV has the clearest picture. We also bought the Samsung sound bar and subwoofer and I feel like I'm in a movie theater! The size of the TV is amazing. This TV is worth every penny. I love that all the top apps are preloaded.

I spent quite a few hours researching 75” TV options and visited store showrooms to see them in action. I’m happy about my decision to go with this Samsung.
The guided setup was a breeze - all of my devices (fiber WiFi, cable box, xBox, Blu-Ray player) were automatically recognized instantly.
The built-in apps are fantastic - huge selection (make sure to access the app store to add to the pre-installed) and all the popular services are represented.
4K programming is limited, so it’s a bit frustrating that your TV can’t be used to its full potential - although NetFlix is amping up their 4K offerings.
The picture quality is phenomenal - however, only after tweaking the settings. The out-of-box settings are lackluster - there are a few good calibration tutorials online to get you started, but I found that I had to experiment/tweak for a couple of hours to get this unit to optimal performance.
Audio is decent - will be adding an external audio device soon.
This is a good price point for an excellent TV - it’s as close to OLED quality as you’ll get without spending 2X the price.

Upgraded from a 52" Samsung HDTV (about 13 yrs old). It's a totally different viewing experience. Was not happy with the factory settings but several on-line reviews helped make the picture better (killed the Soap Opera effects). You just have to make some settings and watch them for a few days then keep tweaking until you get it to your liking.
The TV looks great in our living room. very sleek with just a small frame surrounding the actual picture. Price was also very good. Was looking at a 75" Sony that Best Buy had but this Samsung was the highest rated 75" in Consumer Reports latest rankings. Side angle viewing is almost as good as straight on, probably due to the size and it being placed on an angle in the corner, most viewing has a fairly straight sight line.
I have this attached to a receiver and external speakers so I can't comment on the sound quality of the TV's speakers. If you're spending $2K+ on a TV why would you want to use their speakers anyway.

I went to the store to look at LG and Samsung's newest line of TVs, the OLED and QLED. While debating size vs price, we were pointed to this TV. It wasn't the newest model, but for the price, we were able to pick up a 75" cheaper than the newest model at 65". The TV looks great on the wall. Setting up, I had to change how I had everything wired because of the OneConnect box, but once I did I was extremely happy. The TV recognized our satellite dish box automatically as well as the BluRay player. It set it up for me! The included remote even works as the Dish remote. This TV is amazing. Picture quality is great, interface is great, everything is great. The Netflix and other smart apps interface is super cool and easy to use. My wife can get to everything easily and doesn't have to ask me every time how to switch to what she wants. I gave 5 stars because this TV is great for the price, looks great, and is super easy to setup and use!
