The LCD panel had a large, dark, flashing square in the center of the screen. Even when the television works right, as with the replacement, there is definite streaking of black against white backgrounds when images move across white. You can see this easily when you simply move through a menu, going up and down. There will be tracer lines against the background. The GOOD: The picture looks really good, even before calibration. Calibration hasn't been done on mine yet, and it will be about another week before it is done. The black levels are very good. There is no clouding of black in very dark images. There is no light leak on the sides or corners of the screen. This television has absolutely ZERO overscan! This is wonderful! The OneConnect box allows you to connect things without getting behind the television. I use a theater processor and a theater system for video switching, so this doesn't do anything for me, but it will be great for many buyers. You CAN turn off the horrible video processing that makes all videos look like a soap opera. I have high hopes for this replacement unit working well, but I would not recommend this unit, due to my first one dying almost immediately and being replaced.
