    I have a high end audio video installation company i bought this tv for myself and the color is off and black levels are poor

    This is a very nice television for video but it does not work well with Samsung soundbar (top of the line)

    After reading many, many reviews on many, many websites and going to several different stores to compare displays, I went with the 75" U8000. Some negative reviews concerned me. Especially the ones that indicated poor viewing angles & color fade and the ones about the ads that come up on the home screen. I sit about 15 feet away from the screen and at any angle 35 degrees or less the picture is stunning! Even at larger angles, it's not as if the TV is unwatchable. I have no blurring or color fade. As for the ads on the home screen, it is one small box the size of your Netflix app icon. It is not intrusive or cover over the program you are watching in any way. Best of all, you can turn it off by NOT agreeing to certain terms and conditions. Problem solved. I absolutely recommend this TV. The smart features are smart and the picture is the best in this price range IMHO.

    Hands down the best TV I ever owned! I just bought a 65” LG OLED and theyre still compaable! Best part is the hdmi box that you can keep hidden below. I love this feature so much. No more wires showing everywhere and it makes it so easy to hook up all gaming consoles and devices.

    The best TV I have ever purchased. I bought this TV over 3 years ago for my mancave and it has not disappointed me. My friends and family were amazed then and are still to the day at the quality of the picture. For sports, movies or just watching your regular tv programs, it's a game changer.

    The television is excellent. Picture quality and ease of setup make this a great purchase. My only concern is that I was sold a bill of goods that I would only need one remote. The Samsung remote will not control my DirecTV genie box. If you are a DirecTV customer, you will have to keep both remotes handy. Not a big deal, just a little misrepresentation. The tv is great though.

    Great TV overall but stopped working after a week

    Got this tv about a week ago , amazing picture, great sound ( has a really deep bass), the remote is pretty cool and simple. However, exactly after 1 week of having the tv the picture stopped working. TV still had sound but no picture. Apparently its a somewhat common problem with the tv. Something with the motherboard or loose cable. Reached out to Samsung and they were helpful referred me to a product service request where a tech would come out and fix it . I also checked with best buy and since it hasn't been more then 15 days I could exchange it which I will do. Really sad the picture went out only after a week of having it. I'm a loyal Samsung TV customer and also have a 60" and 46" that are going on 6 and 7 years old now without any problems.

    I had the 75" SONY tv for a little over a month. There was lag on the menus, issues with bluetooth connectivity, and then it would not display the picture only sound. Sent it back and I got this instead, so much better in every way!

    Great picture on the tv, but after about 2 weeks the One Connect box will go out i.e., tv comes on without sound, or without video, or without sound or video. Switched out every single cable connected to the tv with cables from working tvs. Even purchased brand new cables. Only way to fix it is to unplug/replug in the One Connect box. I was sent a new One Connect box from Samsung under warranty. Worked great and even came on faster (no delay before the picture/sound came on) for a couple of weeks. Then next thing you know.. EXACT SAME issue after 2 or 3 weeks. Fortunately, my tv is under warranty. Unfortunately, this will be a big time suck. BUYER BEWARE.

    Had the Geek Squad come in, set up fast and efficiently---sold me an extended warranty and five days later----the TV goes dark on me. Sound is on, can change channels, inputs, etc., but just a low light blue cast to the screen....can see nothing. Got the usual India to Philippines service runaround the digital cul-de-sac, before they hooked me up directly to a Geek Squad Operator/Customer Svc., rep, who told me that the first appointment was five days out. When I went into the store today that I bought it from, a rep told me that the tech who will come out will likely inform me that the display has gone out, and they'll have to replace the TV (common problem of this model according to him). I moved a 12 year old Samsung 52" into my bedroom---thank God that's still humming along---heck, that's why I bought Samsung again. But, five days and then, poof! For a brand new and pricey device and the fact I upgraded to a multi-year protection plan---I'm not feeling too cheery about this purchase. If I knew this was going to happen, I probably would have just winged it myself, and purchased it from Costco.

    The TV worked for about 4 years. All thorough there were software issues and required frequent resetting. Picture quality was good when it worked. Support is poor.
