Screen issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Television worked great for first couple weeks, then dark lines started appearing in the top left corner. The lines look like a shadow that moves across the top left corner during dark backgrounds with a light foreground. Exchanged the TV for the same model and had the same issue two weeks later. Reluctantly exchanged it one more time and of course had the same issue a couple weeks later. At this point, I tried contacting Samsung. They would not exchange it and sent a repair technician, which I did not want with a brand new TV. He was not able to fix it and unfortunately I am beyond my 30 day exchange window with Best Buy. I’ve been loyal to Samsung TV’s for years, but this TV has changed my outlook.

If I could give it a zero star I would
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have had ours for right at 2 years. It already has one led out...grey spot in middle of screen. Now it is developing vertical banding lines from left to right. Complete Garbage for a TV that cost over 2000.00. I will never buy Samsung again! They are not standing behind their TVs. They get your money and then leave you with a product that doesn't last longer than 1-2 years. SHAME ON YOU SAMSUNG!

Samsung MU8000 vertical lines

Now seems color and picture clarity is going out. Samsung, I have been a loyal customer but this is now the second tv with issues inhave dealt with. The bedroom tv is 10+ years old and no issues, made by a different manufacturer... Feeling like TVs are just not Samsungs thing. I now have a $2,000+ TV that I need to spend more money on repairs... Would NOT recommend the Samsung MU8000 model to anyone else!

OK TV but banding is bad
