    Just as good as QLED

I was torn between this tv and the 75" QLED model. I opted for the lower price and boy did I make a great decision. The picture is life like and crisp. It jumps off the screen and motion rate is superb. Blacks are deep but not OLED levels but the regular eye won't notice the difference. No sunstone dot no problem. New color engine is so dynamic it makes it feel like the colors are very lifelike and rich. Contrast is off the charts. Word of advice: 1. Get the settings for picture from the local Best Buy store. Samsung adjusts the setting to support the best quality picture to draw you in to make the purchase. You want the same display you saw so get it from them. The Magnolia folks will gladly assist. 2. Don't believe the hub hub of all hdmi cables are the same. Truth be told they are not with 2017 TV's. I went with the Audioquest Cinnamon hdmi cables and compared them to monster uhd cables and some highly reviewed cables from amazon. The Audioquest are leaps ahead and made all the difference in the 4K display to what you expect. With these 2 notes for adjustment. I was able to replicate what I saw in store. The tv's colors are not as deep as QLED tv's but those r ultra bright and you loose the conematic feel. This tv is more life like and pulls you in. Definitely was worth the money and very happy with the purchase.

My remote keeps turning my TV on

I love my TV. The remote just keeps turning my TV on. I thought at first I was either crazy or it was the TV that kept turning itself on at all hours constantly. I took the batteries out of the remote and the problem stopped. Weird that an item with this price has a remote problem, its a hassle to constantly switch a battery around to change the brightness at nighttime.

    Internet access

The picture is great and all that however it will not access the internet. This is my second set. I replaced a 70 " Sharp that worked great but wanted to go 4k. I have talked with my ISP the modem manufacture and Samsung. I've done all that they have recommended to no avail. All my other sets access the internet with no problem, Samsung gas a real problem. I'll be contacting BestBuy again to see what remedy they have for me.

A huge upgrade from my UN75F6300 model from about 4 years ago. Everything is great and the processing speed from the moment the tv is turned on is greatly increased.

Dead on Arrival - Poor Quality

Geeksquad came to install this set and it would not connect to the OneConnect box and had to be sent back to the store. It's really disappointing to see Samsung miss quality control on such a critical connection. I took a day off work to get this delivered and installed so Samsung cost me both time and money. Not sure whats going on with Samsung, this is the second dead set I've received in 2 years. We are returning this and going with a Sony. My advice is go to Sony on LCDs and LG on OLED, Samsung should be a last resort if you're willing to take a chance.

    Vertical Lines in Picture

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

A simple search on the Internet will confirm that the presence of vertical lines on the image is a known issue with this 75" model. Even Samsung won't take it in repair because there isn't a fix. My experience with Samsung up to this point was pretty good - TVs, BluRays, etc, but extremely disappointed with this one. Do some research before buying. Take care
