Decent but indistinguishable from a standard LED.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The minimum of what I would call a "good tv" these days. But I had to return it, it's features and picture aren't a massive improvement from a regular LED 4K panel. Look for a TV with "local dimming" it will blow this TV out of the water. The 80s series qled is the cheapest one from Samsung.

Meeting all my expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned this for a couple of days. I was going to buy the UHD Samsung, but I am glad I didn't. It is considered an entry level QLED. It has a 4k "lite" chip which doesn't have all the high end features found in other QLED TV's . For a big name brand TV, I think it is a lot of TV. According to the various ratings, It may not be the best QLED at this price point, but I wanted a name brand tv that I know is going to be supported down the road. When I first turned on the TV, I was glad there was an update available. I am not crazy about the small remote and the operating system layout is kind confusing, but it feels responsive. I haven't experienced any issues with the Wi-Fi. It has 3 HDMI connections which is remarkable for the price range. Unfortunately the TV only has a 60 refresh rate. The brightness is very good and I have it turned up near max. The set is really thin, about an inch, but it is heavier than I thought it would be. The sound is fine, especially for such a thin TV. I have it hooked up to an AV system, but I don't feel the need to use it for regular broadcasts. When I set it up the TV felt like it would tip over, but it is OK once it is set-up. The legs can be set up towards the middle or near the edge. Since my furniture is large enough, I mounted them near the edge. There is no reason to buy a a non-QLED TV, when you can get this one for under $1,000, unless you have a tight budget. The extra money is worth it. The 5 year warranty is a little expensive, but it gives me piece of mind until 8k prices come down.

Posted .IulianaF,
If you've switched on your TV and the sound comes through fine, but you're not seeing any picture; there are 3 potential issues.
1) A connection issue; the most common problem. Where there is a bad connection, faulty cables or improper installation.
2) An issue with the device connected to the TV. There may be a video output setting on the device that you must set properly before it will output to the TV.
3) There is something wrong with the TV, which will require a technician to assess the TV and find a solution.
