Set up was easy, picture is stunning, and its Samsung. I watch a lot of sports (i.e. football) and fields look amazingly crisp with little to no jitter around fast motion.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to upgrade my 65” series 7 tv to this one, mostly because I was so frustrated that it would buffer constantly on a black screen, when I don’t use the tv for the smart features. I do everything on the Apple TV, so the tv should have to think too hard, yet it still struggled. I can say this tv does the exact same thing, but it is not nearly as bad. And the buffering was definitely on the Samsung end and not the Apple TV because their loading icons look very different. It is just sad Samsung can’t put a processor in their TVs that is powerful enough to run just the tv portion with an HDMI input. Great tv, but it loses a star for not fixing my main issue. I see the exact same thing on friend’s TVs, so I know these things inherently are underpowered.

Buffering when watching videos online is related to your internet speed. Buffering may occur on your Samsung Smart TV while streaming video content over the internet. Buffering usually occurs when your internet connection provided by your ISP cannot supply data fast enough for the playback device.
We suggest you try the following:
1) Use 5G Wi-Fi if possible
2) Try wired LAN if available
3) Try repositioning the router so there are no obstacles between your TV and the router
4) Please be sure you have the latest firmware update which enhances network connectivity.

Despite my best efforts I’ve never been able to adjust the screen to see details on dark screens using test screen options the screen just does not get bright enough. Most of the preset pictures are overly blue. Samsung has a new service to adjust the screen using a mobile device. Unfortunately it is only available on 2022 TV’s. I thought this was the model I was purchasing being a wall display so far into 2022 but it was a 2021 model. The apple connection is a nice feature and it plays well in Samsungs SmartThings ecosystem. Small detail but the base that came with the TV does not match the photos. It’s two separate legs not the single flat based stand in the photos.

We appreciate your feedback on the Q70A TV's image quality. To ensure your picture is fully optimized, please be sure your TV's firmware is up to date with version 2001.3 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the image is still not to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.
Also, please know the 2021 Q70A does utilize the center stand, which is pictured in the photos.
