    Tv started great. But 1week after the warranty expired, the tv screen just began to get black. I tried to get a replacement or get it fixed but that would have been more than i paid. Expensive lesson in buying extended warranty.

    The screen is big and bright, the speakers aren’t the best so I advise a sound bar or HomePods if your lucky. Over all it’s a great tv for the price. I would have bought the 85” if I had the space.

    I had expected a litttle more on this. But overall, I still love it. It's amazing video quality to watch TV shows, movies & other stuffs. But while watching game, I didn't like it much. TV Volume is also good.

    Great TV, but shows White light spots :(

    There is white light dots on the corners of the screen and bleed into the picture of whatever is on TV. This happens when there is a 4K/4K HDR show on. Which most streaming services offer now. This is unfortunate, because this a great TV besides that. It be comes very annoying and no matter what picture setting, it stays there. I will exchange or return this for an LG ;(

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q70A TV. To ensure that your TV’s picture is optimized, be sure that you are always running the latest firmware update. You can check this by going to Settings > Support > Software Update or you can enable Auto Update for convenience.

      If the picture you are seeing is still not to your liking after performing any necessary firmware updates, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

      You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.

    Beautiful picture / terrible dark room performance

    Our TV looked great during the day, but when we went to watch a movie at night it looked like someone was holding a flashlight to the corner of the TV. This was the most distracting thing and once we started seeing it, it was noticeable almost in every scene. I believe this is back light bleed or sometimes referred to as clouding or flash-lighting. Q70A is not recommended by us for dark room movie watching. No way! See pictures, hard to believe that in 2021 they are producing TVs that do this. If yours does this RETURN it immediately as we need to send the message that this is unacceptable. Don't bother calling them out to look at it or troubleshoot with settings, just send it back.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q70A TV and for sharing details of your image quality. To ensure your picture is fully optimized, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1901.0 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      If this firmware version is not yet available on your TV, you can download the update on a USB drive and manually update your TV:
      1. On Samsung's website (upper right corner), go to: Support > Manuals & Software > Find your TV model.
      2. Download the update and extract it to the root of a USB thumb drive. (Do not put it in any folders on the thumb drive.)
      3. Connect the USB thumb drive to a USB port on your TV.
      4. Navigate to Settings > Support > Software Update, select Update Now, and then select Yes.
      5. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software.

    Not a good purchase, extremely fragile. Waste of $

    What a terrible product. Samsung seems to really have gone downhill in recent years. Dark colors are blotchy and you will not get uniform black in the screen. Also the 75" TV is so wobbly and unstable. Unfortunately the screen broke when I was moving it around on my swivel wall mount. Waiting for another month before Samsung warranty can come out to look but I am sure it will be determined to be accidental and I am out $1800. Do not waste your time with this TV, especially if you plan on changing it's position with a swivel mount as it can break very easily. Wish I would have bought a TV that was a little thicker and more sturdy.
