I received a defective product and have gotten NO help from customer support. I spent about 6 hours on the phone and spoke with 12 different people, none of which helped me. One advised me to purchase Geek Squad protection for the TV, which I did, and $180 later I’m told by someone else that since the TV is brand new it’s still covered by Samsungs warranty and the Geek Squad won’t even apply for an entire year. I’m SOOOOOO disappointed with the service I’ve received in this process. As a customer that has spent thousands of my dollars at Best Buy over the years (5k within the last few months alone) I would expect to have better customer support in a situation like this. But nope. Outsourced support just giving me the runaround for half of my day…and still no resolution.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your TV not displaying properly. You may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. If any external devices are connected, check all input cable connections
2. If the issue persists, define exactly what is wrong with the display. For example, mosaics and blocks, multiple lines or white dots, fixed horizontal, or vertical lines.
3. Try changing channels using the remote control. Is the issue the same on all channels?
4. Press the Home button (looks like a house), select Connected Devices, and choose another input source. Is the issue the same on all sources?
5. If the same problem persists, run a diagnostic test. (Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test)
6. If the problem disappears during the test, check your TV signal (Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information) to check the signal strength. Signal strength must be more than 20 dB (more than 4 bars on the icon) for stable signal reception

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q70D TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.

Great TV. Looks really nice and sleek. Picture is really good. This was an upgrade from about 5 years ago and 1 model up from the previous and I am super happy with the performance. Purchased a Samsung soundbar with Dolby Atmos and it works with the tv flawlessly. It uses the tv's speakers with the soundbar speakers and the sound is amazing. Just plugged it in and it worked. Super easy set up, logged into my Samsung account and it moved my settings and apps over to the new tv. Couldn't be happier unless it massaged my feet while watching!

Beautiful pic, ez to use. I paid to have it installed which made it nice. Rechargeable remote control. No more batteries to buy. Love that too. All in all, a great buy while they had it on sale

I can say I will not be purchasing another TV in a very long time. This TV has a beautiful picture, sound, and features. Definitely a little pricey but in the end you will be happy because I can't wait to watch college football on it. If you find it on sale you better jump on it and buy it before they run out.

Love the picture. I had a surround sound set up already so I can’t comment on sound but hook up was easy. Downloading apps like Paramount+ was also easy. I debated between this and OLED. Glad I chose to save the money and buy this. You might and I emphasize might be able to tell the difference if they are side by side but no one has that in their house. This picture brightness color and clarity are remarkable. The only drawback I have is with the wider screen I now see a reflection of a window on the very left edge of the screen that my older smaller tv wasn’t wide enough to be an issue. This screen does show reflections so on bright days I had have to close curtains. In closing if your one who has to have the absolute best picture, sound, and features then you probably need to spend a lot more. If you want a really great TV that blows away your old one and want to save some cash. You won’t be disappointed with this one

I bought this in-store as an "Open Box" item. It is excellent and I am extraordinarily happy with my purchase! If I had paid full-price, it still would have been worth the expense. I found that I needed to go into settings and tone down the contrast and re-balance the color but, that took only a moment. It's also excellent at upscaling my old Standard-Definition discs, making them look like Blu-Ray!
The installers arrived on-time, worked quickly and answered all of my questions. Overall, an excellent purchase and experience.

Should have purchased the Samsung 75 QLED sooner! Got it just in time for start of NFL season. Picture quality is excellent and love the ease of operation. Geek Squad duo were perfect and did an excellent installation! Both spouses extremely happy with purchase.

Going from an OLED to QLED. Was a little hesitant as I didn’t want to lose any picture quality. The (previous) OLED tv developed screen burn-in and loss of picture quality after only a couple year. The manufacturer of the OLED no longer supported it and had to remedy for the loss of picture resolution and quality. The Samsung QLED is awesome and has a great picture is daylight and evening/darkness. The smart TV offerings are great and seemingly endless. Streaming is no problem and not queueing issues.

This has a stunning picture! I have had it for almost a year with no issues. Even the kids want to come down and watch movies and sports. We have to fight them for it sometimes! Paired with the sound bar and electric reclining chairs, it’s a completely immersive experience!

Keeps disconnecting from the sound bar

While the image and the operating system/menu are great, the TV frequently disconnects from my Samsung soundbar. I have to press the home button on the remote, then go to the recently viewed tab. Only then will the sound return. This issue happens during the bluetooth connection. I can only use the bluetooth option, as I get no signal with the optical cable. I used the optical cable on the previous TV, which was a 65" Samsung curved unit. In my opinion, these audio issues are unacceptable.

Thank you for sharing your review. Bluetooth sound quality may become affected if the wireless router is close to the soundbar. Place the soundbar as close as possible to the TV without obstacles between them. Do not place the wireless router close to the soundbar.
When using Bluetooth devices, please keep in mind that the TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them.
To minimize interruptions, we recommend a wireless access point that uses a 5GHz frequency. If the issue persists, we recommend using wired connection such as HDMI eARC or Optical.
