Great TV, the quality is nice. The glare is minor and the sounds is a great touch for our living room.

The Samsung Q80 65" TV is a nice upgrade from an older OLED. The brightness feature in our very sunny room is a real plus.

We replaced a Sony 65" with this Samsung 75" and it's the perfect size for our living room. Extremely clear HD 4k picture.

Bought last year's model (QN82Q8FNBFXZA) in Feb 2019 from another retailer. December 2019 thin horizontal line across the top of the screen. The good news: TV is still under the 1 year factory warranty. Other retailer will repair it for $0. The bad news: if something else goes wrong in 2 months, I pay. Samsung is not willing to cover their product longer than 1 year. Other retailer will sell me a 3 year extended warranty for $499. Have purchased many cheaper TV's in my life time and never had any issues in less then a year (or less than 8-10 years for that matter). Asked Samsung if they would at least extend the factory warranty to 3-5 years given having issues so soon after purchase of a relatively high end TV. After all, it would not cost them anything to type something in under my serial number. Answer=no. Other retailer is willing to selling me basically a 3 year warranty for $499. That is it. The other retailer's salesman I spoke with informed me I should in fact expect less quality out of a larger more expensive TV because there in more that can go wrong. I can see why they (Samsung/Abt) may want to leave that out of their sales pitch. Silly me for wanting my 82 inch +$5000 TV to last as long (with no issues) as my 55 inch Vizio that cost $500-$600. Very disappointed in Samsung and to a certain extent Abt. Buyer beware....maybe take a hard look at Sony. That was the other TV I was thinking about buying.

This TV is great in bright rooms thanks to anti glare, fantastic colors very vibrant, and is the perfect TV for gaming. A+

Side angle viewing is very good. Straight on view is excellent. Recommend sound bar or system upgrade over TV speakers.

Purchased this model (75 q80r) and returning it and switching to a different brand. First let me say I have been a VERY long Samsung customer. My phones have been Samsung for 5 years, last 3 TVs Samsung, surround system and 4k HD DVD player Samsung. Loyal brand customer here. Now I upgraded and beyond disappointed. First the blacks are too dark on movies and even sports to a good degree. Not matter how I adjusted the settings. Second my cable apps keeping messing up. Sound but no picture unless I reboot. The thirdly and most importantly the sync delay. About every 3 stations has the delays and the audio is not even close. I tried all the settings. Then i Google it to try to correct the issue. To my shock this is a VERY common issue. Despite all the Samsung support nothing corrects this issue. Unless your willing to have no sound bar or set to anything other than Dolby which takes away from the surround sound experience. From what I've have read (it's a lot and customers with Q60,70, 80, 90 AND all the 2018 models) have the same issue. It has something to do with firmware or the hdmi arc connection, but Samsung is hush and no solutions but the run around. Sorry it's Qled and i was excited to finally get one, but all the issues take away from any moderate color and contrast benefits. It's a shame. Now I will not bash it totally. For color and contrast, better then both q70 and 60 side by side. I love the smart app and actually I like to remote. Deep blacks, but a con on certain features like sports and movies like game of thrones. I do not play games like xbox or ps4, so I have no opinion on that aspect.

Great Picture! The sound is not great. However, if you have a sound bar or surround sound. You will have a great TV.
