    Awesome experience with this tv!! All the apps I need with an amazing picture. The tv speakers are nice but, I would recommend a sound bar to complement the size of this tv.

    I have been amazed with the image and video quality of this TV, really exceptional, you can really see the details that other TVs do not see, if you want to enjoy a good image this is the closest you can get for a price comparable, I am finally satisfied after changing 2 samsungs q60a and one sonyx85j, all defective

    White bright light spots on my Q80A

    TV has white light spots. Unfortunate, because this is a great TV, besides this issue. It happens generally when you have a black borders and when it is a 4K/4K HDR shows. Which is most of what steaming services produce/provide now. I will need to exchange and/or return this Q80A, for a LG OLED :(

      Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your Q80A TV. To ensure that your TV’s picture is optimized, be sure that you are always running the latest firmware update. You can check this by going to Settings > Support > Software Update or you can enable Auto Update for convenience.

      If the picture you are seeing is still not to your liking after performing any necessary firmware updates, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

      You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.

    Washed out blacks, sound not working now

    Initially the TV looked great. Then when its completely dark in the room, I noticed a grayish area across the top of the screen when the screen was supposed to be black. Called support, they could not adjust it remotely. They sent out a two man tech crew who changed the panel. Its now worse. The grayed area extends lower at the upper left hand side. Also the sound is intermittent, as though one channel on stereo sound is out. Frustrated at this point, probably will return it.

    The buying experience was great. The TV performs great thus far. Unfortunately Best Buy left quite a bit to be desired when it came to actually delivering the merchandise. The delivery was cancelled 2 times. I must say the language barrier when talking to your customer service is pretty exhausting. With that being said, I will continue to initially look at Best Buy for my electronic needs.

Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

    Poor quality dont buy on my 3rd one feed up have a sumsung repairman coming if they cant fix sending this one back and going with a cheap one and definitely another brand why pay so much money for junk

    Significantly better picture than the cheaper Samsung model, glad I upgraded. Chose the Samsung over the Sony Bravia because the living room has a lot of windows—the in-store rep was right, the tv looks great in the bright room. Initially thought I needed 85”, but 75” is plenty big. The only complaint is that Samsung tries to force you to agree to let them track everything you do and watch via their ‘smart’ OS. They’re such jerks about it that they won’t let you set up the TV with your phone unless you agree. The only way to stop them from asking every time you turn the TV on is by disabling the smart TV operating system. Once I did that it automatically opens to my Apple TV, which is what I want. No terrible Samsung ads and marketing.

    I purchased the 2021 Samsung Q80A in a 75inch and couldn’t be happier! As some of the specs go, I knew I wanted a tv specifically for gaming. It needed to be a 75inch (due to the distance between the tv and the other end of my living room being 11ft.) It had to have a refresh rate of 120ghz or something accommodating to helping each frame of the game play to be smooth. I wanted an HDMI port that was 2.1 or a gaming HDMI port that has the fastest response to playing. (I’ve had many experiences pressing a button and there is a short lag before execution) This port was very important. And in my last attempt of being picky, I knew I wanted a tv with a center stand and not two legs on the end. With it being in the middle I had more room on the tv stand and the cables hide perfectly behind soundbar. In EVERY way this tv has hit my needs as far as a gaming tv goes. I would like to note that although is does NOT have 120ghz refresh rate, it DOES come with a backup specifically to accommodate for it not having the 120ghz. The clarity on the tv is phenomenal to perfection and deserves all 5 stars!

    Got this after checking out various options for TVs to replace an older SONY Bravia that I wasn't completely happy with. I'm so glad I did too! It's been absolutely amazing. We love the picture. Wasn't originally going to get a QLED but now I'm sold! Lol Been recommending this to everyone ever since. Totally happy with the purchase.
