What a scam. the YouTube app doesn't support 8k. It loads up tp 4k. Samsung blamed YouTube and YouTube blamed Samsung.

I am super happy with this purchase. For quite a while I was looking for a TV that not only had great picture quality but also kept things simple for me. I used to have to plug external devices into the soundbar first in order to get Dolby atmos and more. Now I can use the TV apps that are installed on the TV like Netflix, vudu and more and it will play Dolby atmos on my hw-950 due to it having HDMI 2.1 connection. 1 chord- that's it!!! I also have an xbox one x that I can plug straight to the TV and it lit up all the green check marks when I went to 4k details. The upscaling is just amazing for this TV! I'm so happy I got this over the LG C8 or the C9 which would have been the same price because the picture quality is as good but no burn ins.

I'm amazed at how much detail I can see even at just a few feet from the screen. It's definitely sharper than my 4K Sony that's only a few years old. I took a look a the Sony 8K TV which also has a beautiful picture but it's three times as thick as the Samsung and doesn't come in 75". The sales person showed me some of the smart features on the Samsung like ambeint mode and I may have to play with the one that lets me match the colors in my room. All in all, it's pretty pricey right now and there isn't much out that's 8K yet but if you have to have the latest and greatest, this is definitely the one to get.

I was saving up to replace my old LCD TV with a new 4k TV, but I saw the posters for Samsung's 8k TV at the front of the store and wanted to see what the difference was. Carla in the Magnolia section showed me to the Samsung 75" 8k TV and QLED color and HDR and the difference it makes. Then she walked me to the Samsung area, and showed me a comparison of 8k to 4k TVs and explained that 8k has a quarter-size the pixels than a 4k TV has. When I asked her if there was much 8k content being broadcast yet, she said that even though 8k has just barely started, the TV will upscale 4k and lower resolutions so that the picture will look good, even watching regular cable TV. And when more 8k content comes, I'll already be ready. I guess I'm going to have to get an 8k TV now.

We purchased this Tv back in 2019, & ot continues to blow our minds on how good the picture is on This tv!! We love samsung!!

Awesome tv. Looks great on the wall. Nice upgrade from my last tv

I did a ton of research before buying this TV. It came down to this or LG OLED C9. We have the 77” LG C9 in our family room and the 82” Samsung QLED 8K in the basement. We were very happy with both TVs. However, after 3 months the QLED 8K screen went black. Samsung sent a technician and decided to have Best Buy replace the TV. It’s been a month and no resolution on the replacement with Best Buy. I understand delivery and install will be pushed back due to COVID-19, but the paperwork has not even been completed yet.

The panel died only lasted 3.5 years. Its out of warranty.
