Why am not happy with Samsung TV 4K
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK to begin I had trouble getting it installed somebody has sold a TV that I bought which caused me to have to wait even longer to get it installed when the day finally came he took them forever to cool get the controller to match up with the cable provider Had When I begin to notice the color isn’t as good as it is on my 48 inch Samsung and when you go to the high definition channels you don’t have full picture when you go to Netflix you’re not getting 4K what you should be and now I’m waiting for the geek squad to come back out again to see what’s wrong with the television right now I’m not very happy with this product

Thank you for purchasing the Q90T TV and for your review. I am sorry you are not completely happy with the image quality you are seeing. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.
Here are some tips to help improve the picture clarity:
1. HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
2. If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
3. Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receiver, IPTV, and set-top box to UHD or HD.
There are several image settings you can adjust to your liking such as Picture Mode and Expert Settings.
Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings
For further information regarding Image Settings, please see this article:

Terrible customer service
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV lost power just over 2 months after purchase. I also purchased the 5 year extended warranty with the Geek Squad. Called Geek Squad for service. They told me that they can't service the Television because it is under the Samsung factory warranty because it is only two months. Called Samsung for service and they advised that TV was not registered. When I had installed and delivered by Best Buy, the techs told me everything was taken care of because I purchased the extended warranty. Obviously it wasn't. I had to get the serial number off the back of the TV which wasn't easy because the TV is mounted on the wall. I had to call Samsung back to give them the serial number. They would not give an appointment because the TV was wall mounted. Then had to call Geek Squad and could not get an appointment until 8 days later to dismount the TV which is part of the extended warranty. Samsung will not give me an appointment until 2 weeks after that. As of this review, my television still is not repaired. This is a $3000. TV. Best Buy should replace this TV, get it repaired, if it can be repaired, and resell it as a refurbished model, Best Buy customer service is terrible. Let the buyer beware!!! The TV is great when it is working. Junk when it is not!

Worst picture quality I have ever seen
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure how the q90t gets such great reviews. We've been trying to get the picture quality fixed since Geek Squad delivered it this morning. Nothing helps. Motion blur is sickening bad. I can't watch the screen for more than a few minutes. There is no detail in anything that isn't in the very center of the screen. Everything is faded out. It's like looking through a telescope. The 4K is absolutely awful. We tried watching The Mandalorian, LOTR, and The Hobbit. My wife and I were both feeling sick to our stomachs from the awful picture quality. This looks more like the original 4k models, only they were better. How can a $3,000 tv look so horrible? This replaced a two year old Sony x900f that developed a green line through the center of the screen. Two new, expensive tvs, and both have had issues. At least the Sony x900f had really good picture quality before the dead pixels showed up. Since this replaced another tv via warranty, I'm hoping that we aren't stuck with this awful $3000 piece of junk. If we are, then I'll stop buying from here all together. The display video that plays on this at the store does not represent true video.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q90T TV and for your review. I am very sorry to hear that you are not happy with the image you are seeing. You may want to adjust the Picture Clarity Settings to your liking and to suit the type of program you are watching.
Navigate to Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Picture Clarity Settings
The default setting is Auto. This means the feature automatically turns on and off based on the type of program being watched. Change the setting to either Off or Custom.
If you select Custom, three additional settings are available for further customization to your viewing preference: Blur, Judder, and LED Clear Motion. LED Clear Motion allows you to configure the LED backlight to sharpen fast-moving images. Select to turn On or Off.

Thank you for your review of the Q90T TV. If your TV is flickering or dimming sporadically, you may need to disable some of the energy efficiency features.
Disable Ambient Light Detection, Power Saving Mode, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer.
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Ambient Light Detection
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode
Settings > General> Eco Solution> Motion Lighting
Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer
Run Picture Test. When the tested image quality is normal, check the signal of the connected device.
Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test
I hope this helps. If your issue persists, please reach out to Samsung Customer Support, and a representative will gladly assist you.

Major Disappointment
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Motion on this TV is terrible. Do not buy this TV if you watch sports, play video games or anything with a fast moving picture. The picture can't keep up with the motion which causes the entire screen to stutter constantly. Samsung is aware of this issue with their Q series TVs but has no real solution and refuses to do anything about it. To say they have some of the worst customer service would be an understatement. Their only "solution" was to turn the picture sharpness down all the way down to zero, which helps only slightly with the motion issue but obviously makes the picture quality absolutely horrible. What's the point of buying a 4k TV if you have to have the picture sharpness at the absolute lowest setting possible? Might as well have an old standard definition TV without the motion issue if that was going to be the case with Samsung's supposed top of the line unit.
