Never buying a Samsung TV ever again. My 800T died due to a motherboard failure after 4yrs and I replaced that with this 800C. It didn't even last an hour before it just powered down and no matter many attempts at the infamous reset sequence brought this piece of dead weight back to life. Samsung has a fatal design flaw that they just refused to fix but instead have memorialized the stupid reset sequence as the holy grail of DIY fix.

Worst evee tv I've bought. It stopped working after less of a year. Best buy didn't gave me a prompt solution either. I will have now to return it to Samsung but myself because Best Buy and Geek squad (I'm enrolled in their claim plan) didn't do their job.

Don't expect to add any external sound devices unless you're willing to shell out an additional $800 to $1000. Most commercial external speakers will not work on this TV. USB is incompatible. I think this is low and a cheap trick on the consumer to get you to buy their overpriced, WAY overpriced, proprietary sound systems. I am extremely disappointed.

Don’t buy this tv. I have it and I've had to get it repaired twice in a year already and now they have to replace the whole thing because it doesn’t work. Also best buy told me that 8K is a scam because they don’t even make movies in 8K yet… so this tv is made for theoretical movies they might make in the future in 8K. Again, it keeps breaking so it was definitely not worth the money. We are getting it replaced with a 4K one…

Picture is very good. Cannot get hdmi earc to work. Could not get basketball games on cbs/paramount but could on my pc so think there is a problem with the apps. Have to unplug and plug in the tv to get apps to open. Overall would definitely NOT recommend.
