      You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.

    Everything was going well till its was time to install i was at work wife was home when I got home sound bar didn't work properly and bass didn't work at all no remote with it so can't do anything

    The QN84 is one of those scaled down models that doesn’t have the picture quality you want. I returned and purchased a QN90 direct from Samsung and the picture quality was so much better.

    A pixel went dead in 2 weeks... It looked amazing until then, and now the qn85 is only $100 more what a joke. Samsung it's better than this.

Picture Test displays a high-definition picture you can examine for flaws or faults. Go to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test

    The tv is not all that I expected. The images are not really cleared. I’m not sure reason why to it. By saying images I meant megapixels are very low grade

      - Off: Picture Clarity Settings will always be off
      - Auto: Picture Clarity Settings will automatically activate and deactivate based on the type of program being watched
      - Custom: Allows custom adjustments and settings to be used. By selecting the Custom option, you can access these advanced settings for Judder Reduction, LED Clear Motion, and Noise Reduction.

    Regret purchasing this television. Bought the 900 series sound bar to go with the tv so we could take advantage of the q-symphony. Turns out this Best Buy exclusive model isn’t compatible with it.

      Thank you for your review of Samsung's QN84A TV. Please know your TV is compatible with Q-Symphony when paired with a Q-Series Soundbar, such as the HW-Q900A, allowing your TV and Samsung Soundbar speakers to operate simultaneously for better surround effect without muting TV speakers.

      Q-Symphony is only available when you connect the soundbar to the TV using an HDMI cable or an optical cable. You will also need to change the source on your soundbar to D.IN. To do this, press Source on the soundbar’s remote until “D.IN” appears.

      Once the soundbar has been connected and D.IN is set, “TV+Soundbar” will appear under the Sound Output menu of the TV. Select the corresponding option. Now Q-Symphony will activate, and you’ll hear amazing surround sound.

    Not as good as compared to LG….. LG has much better quality and LED, 4K Contant, Samsung is cheating with the refresh rate and queue LED

      You can choose from different Picture Modes to suit your preferences. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode to choose from (Standard, Natural, Movie, Dynamic, & Filmmaker Mode. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.)

    sometimes it acts like a strobe light, have to change picture settings to make it stop. peoples face looks like sandpaper and are out of focus for a second.

    Damaged before even installed!

    Picked up this TV and had to drive an hour to get it. When it was brought out the box appeared open and there was only one vinyl strap on it. ( My last Samsung TV box had 3 straps and tape on top) Knowing I had bought the protection plan I still took it. Got it home and just had a bad feeling. Plugged it in to find it had a damaged screen and USB receptacles were loose. This review is of Best Buy in Racine, WI. Always insist on a unopened Box if buying new!
