Crisp picture, great OS with every app you need! This will be my TV for the next decade and I have no worries of the picture being dramatically outclassed anytime soon! Sound quality isnt good with all thin TV's. Not even worth mentioning in a review as I use a soundbar. It comes with the territory.

Absolutely impressed with the quality of this tv. The detail is incredibly crisp, and the colors are very vibrant. This tv is BRIGHT too, but the blacks are deep and smooth. Panning across landscapes is smooth and detailed, something that has always bothered me with cheaper tvs where panning is jumpy and grainy. My primary viewing distance is 11’ from the screen which is comfortable, though I’m adjusting to it from a 55” tv which wasn’t as bright. Highly recommend this tv for a medium sized room. I’ll add that I’ve never been one to use built in tv speakers, but I wasn’t dissatisfied when I tested them out.

To be clear. I upgraded from a 75 inch q80a to the q84a. The difference was huge for better and worse The q80a full array dimming was really poor. The motion handling was great as well as the colors were adaquate. The sound was impressive for a tv. The gaming experience was clear and bright and great response times. The q84a - way better dimming, noticably. Brighter. Sound is lacking. But the problem and why i will be returning is that the motion handling and noise on the picture is horrible. I use an xbox series x and apple tv 4k hdr. This q84a does not have a motion rate of 240 like the q80 or q85a. It is still 120hz. But it is worse and does make a difference. The sound having 1 or 2 less speakers is fine. The panel is just not the same as the q85a, if it is then it is a lower quality version. the picture is very grainy for most content, especially low lighting, and any sort of motion leave you feeling like its lacking and not as fluid. There are shimmering artifacts as well and small amount of overshoot in pixel response in dark quick scenes. It can still look pretty at times. The hdr is still not great. The tv will have to use contrast enhancer and increase gamma to be usable brightness. There is no inbetween of adaquate color. If you can still get the qn85a for 100 more. Do this.

This TV is incredible. I’m as picky as it comes with my audio / video gear and this Series is fantastic IMO. Unless you are in that 1% where your TV is literally your life, you don’t need to go spend the 4-6 thousand. This model is going to exceed the expectations of 99%. It’s simply a gorgeous picture. All the smart features, the interface and processor speed are also top level here. Lastly, the previous reviewer is correct - the 84a is exact same as 85a except for speakers - and who buys a TV at this level and issues the built in speakers? Save a few bucks and get the 84a while they are still in stock. Buy this TV.

This thing is awesome. I did a bunch of research and I’m usually a “buy the top of the line” techie when it comes to stuff like this. Lots of YouTubers out there blast this thing for its low contrast ratio but it looks pretty incredible to me. Insane brightness, great colors, and a pretty great viewing angle too. The only grey/wash out coloring I saw within the black coloring was when I looked at the TV from above at a sharp angle. If you mount it, you’ll never even notice. It’s the same thing as the QN85A except the onboard audio is Object Tracking Lite (no top-firing speakers). Get yourself a sound bar and it won’t even matter. If you can score this on a discount like I did, it’s absolutely worth it. By comparison, the QN90A I wanted was over $1k more!

Excellent TV, and picture very close to my 5yr old 9600G LG OLED, but darks scenes are poorly handled, making the whole scene too dark when ambient lighting is on with this Samsung. Obvious flaw Samsung chose to ignore. They need to better calibrate the darker scenes. Menus are clunky and fast motion processing is not as good as oled screens. You either live with soap opera effect or turn off fast motion processing. Auto features are better set to off. Ambient lighting can go haywire and cause flickering. Shame on Samsung for not testing their sets properly before selling them. Shame on Best Buy for creating a tweener model with a few cheap parts on such a great TV. Still worth the $1803 I paid with $90 in rewards points and $500 gift card. No TV comes close under $2000. Out the door I was $1203. I can’t complain. I would have splurged for OLED again, but need to avoid burn in. Next purchase will definitely be another OLED for Netflix and movies. Impossible to beat the pictures on OLEDs unless they bring plasmas back.

Excellent TV improved our watching experience by a ton and my phone connects great and i can change the chanel right from my phone. It has changed gaming for me forever

Absolutely love my new 75" Samsung QN84A. The color, clarity and overall picture is stunning. It's like it's almost 3-D. I've been a Samsung customer for four TVs and 5 or 6 phones, very happy with their products. And Best Buy was Great, the Geek Guys were very professional and personable. Having them install the TV was a must. Too big and expensive to do it with a friend. Overall, would I recommend Samsung and Best Buy to a friend, YES, I would and have.

Really incredible television, especially for the price. OLED might take the cake, but at twice the cost, I'll keep my Samsung.

I am so in love with this TV! I literally did the happy dance several times the day it arrived and again the day I had it put on my wall! The picture is beautiful! No more hanging blankets on the windows to see the TV, this baby is plenty bright! Crystal clear picture and great for gaming! This TV has brought my 2 teenagers out of their rooms every night...need I say more?! I’m loving it!

Beautiful full blacks, stunning color and detail. Sound is mediocre but we already had a soundbar so not an issue for us. Tons of connection options. Black Friday deal dropped the price enough to bring it in budget. We have another Samsung a few models below this and the real difference is in the depth and quality of the black area of the screen. Really makes the other colors pop even more.

This tv is amazing. The picture quality is like nothing I’ve had before. Well worth the money
