My only complaint is the lack of popular apps and installed app performance. I watch CNBC and it is only available if you use a Firestick or Apple TV device. There is no app that can be installed that streams CNBC live. The Samsung ESPN app is horrible. It’s the only app that is consistently down. It’s College Football Championship Saturday and the Samsung Installed ESPN app is saying “This webpage not available”(see picture). Once again, I have to hook up my Apple TV in order to watch games on ESPN. I bought this TV so I didn’t HAVE to use Apple TV or a fire stick. Do your research on available Apps before buying this TV.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung QN85A TV and for your review. The built-in App Store allows you to choose from and download hundreds of apps such as discovery+, fuboTV, HBO Max, and many more. If you cannot find the app you are looking for at this time, rest assured that we are continuously working with our partners to make apps available in our 2021 lineup. Keep an eye on the App Store of your TV to see the latest apps available.
If your ESPN app is freezing, not loading, or crashing, you can try cold booting your TV by holding down the power button on your remote for 5+ sec until the TV turns off and on again, deleting and downloading the apps again, and completing full reset of Smart Hub to correct the issue.
Please also check that your TV is running the latest firmware version. Go to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

If you have Xfinity, note that it is not compatible with either the app or streaming through xfinity. You must have fire stick, chrome cast, or some sort of streaming device to get xfinity channels without a cable box.

That is why we opted for a Samsung sound bar and woofer.

Thank you for choosing Samsung's QN85A Neo QLED 4K TV and for sharing your experience with apps, as well as sound quality. Please know the NFL Sunday Ticket app is available to download from your TV's built-in App Store.
The QN85A features SpaceFit Sound to optimize sound tailored to your environment and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) which further detects disturbances and enhances the on-screen voices for clear dialogue.
Go to Home > Settings > General > Intelligent Mode Settings. Turn the options on or off to meet your needs:
- Active Voice Amplifier is available only when the sound sensor of the TV is active and the sound output is set to TV Speaker, or a Samsung Soundbar interlinked with Adaptive Picture is connected.
- Adaptive Sound+ provides optimized sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content
- Adaptive Volume Automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while you are watching TV.
Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > Sound > Sound Mode
You can also customize sound with Expert Settings.

It was an out of the box purchase and came with no instructions on how to set it up. Fortunately, that wasn't a problem as I made my way through the set-up menu and selected the best options for me. One issue is the design of the HSMI ports are flat against the back of the screen, so if you plug in a ROKU stick, it will get hot. To overcome that feature, I bought a swivel to keep the ROKY stick clear of the TV.

The tv looks and sounds very good. I am a fan of Samsung tv’s and appliances. 2 the installers did an excellent job on this project. The 75 inch tv was positioned exactly where I wanted and the crew cleaned up after they finished. Installers spent time with me to familiarize me with the setup and use of the tv.
