Great TV, horrible Smart TV OS

First, it's set up in a long horizontal bar that forces you to move through a ton of pre-installed apps (including those you don't have) to reach what you want. Second, you can't remove or delete any of the pre-installed apps you don't use - the TV literally won't allow it, which means you have apps you never use cluttering up your horizontal bar, and moving through that is the only way to get to anything. Finally, the interface is laggy, and it constantly defaults to wanting to load Samsung TV (whatever that is) when I want to just turn it on and use Netflix/Amazon/etc. In summary, Roku's smart TV UI is 1000% better (I had a Roku TV before). Had I known this TV used Samsung's laggy and annoying UI instead of Roku's, I'd never have bought the TV. So, I'd highly suggest buying a TV with a Roku OS over Samsung's... whatever this is. Functionally the TV is fine, great picture and works well. But Samsung's smart TV UI is laggy and poorly designed.

We have this tv in our living room and when we have gotten up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom it comes on. I also don’t like how you can remove or disable the pre populated applications that come on the tv such as YouTube. Overall it’s a nice tv just wish it was more use friendly.

Worth it alone for the Samsung tv plus channels, got rid of cable because it’s got a bunch of channels included free. My cat can’t seem to knock it over either, very nice.

Installation was easy following instructions, using the right tools, and measuring twice. I am very happy with the picture quality and my family room seems like it shrunk with this huge television. I love it!

Easy to set up, no issues on streaming platforms. Samsung TV Plus is a nice addition. The screen reflects the room a bit, but after sunset it's not an issue. For such a low price it's a great TV.
