Bad experience for the produ ts bought from best buy becausenof the team at best buy.

Having owned 4 Samsung televisions over the years, I can confidently say that Samsung products are good and incredibly reliable. My Samsung TVs are set up throughout the house in the bedrooms, playroom, and living room, and two of them are on the high end of Samsung's lineup. The Samsung 77" Class S84D Series 4K OLED Smart Tizen TV is close to that high-end, and I've become familiar with the easy setup of Samsung TVs. The out-of-box Samsung 77" S84D Series 4K OLED Smart Tizen TV weighs a little over 70 lbs; it is 67.5 x38.9 x 1.8 without the stand, 67.5 x 41.7 x 3.1 with the TV stand.  The stand footprint is 14.4 x 12.8 x 14.2. The stand has two feet that lift the TV 3.3 inches, enough to saddle a soundbar.   The TV's built quality is functional,  with the rear of the TV being hard plastic and several recessed cutouts. If you are looking at the TV from the front, the left-side recessed cutout houses the electrical connection for the power cord.  The right side has two recessed cutouts. They house four full HDMI 2.1 ports, each capable of up to 4K at 120 HZ for gaming.  An HDMI port doubles as the E port and can pass through advanced audio formats from Dobly. Additionally, the TV's recessed cutouts have two USB 2.0 ports, an Audio outport for your headphones, a LAN port, and an ATSC 1.0 antenna connection. The TV comes with clips for the feet for cable management.  The clips help funnel the cables through the feet and out the back of the TV, making cable management a breeze. This TV's main feature is the Samsung OLED Display, which delivers exceptional picture quality with near-perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and vibrant colors. The 4K Resolution provides sharp, detailed images with outstanding clarity, enhancing your viewing experience. The Smart Tizen OS offers a user-friendly interface. It gives you access to various streaming apps and services, making it easy and enjoyable. HDR Support complements the range of colors and brightness for a more immersive viewing experience. The AI Auto Game technology helps connect to your games so you can spend less time with setup. I played "Call of Duty" for several hours using the app and my Xbox controller. The gaming session was smooth and responsive. This TV's gaming features support high refresh rates and low input lag. Samsung 77" Slim Design features a sleek, minimalist design that complements any home theater setup. I was not impressed with the TV's sound output.  The TV has an "Adaptive Sound Pro." Adaptive Sound Pro uses AI to optimize the audio based on the room's setup and the screen content, which is supposed to result in impressively clear, balanced sound from the Samsung AI TV.  I did not notice a difference in sound quality with this feature.  I played with the sound output using the TV's "Expert Setting" but could not fine-tune the sound to my liking.  The equalizer is not an available function on this TV.  There were only "Standard and Amplify" modes. I transferred my home speaker theatre system from my other television to the new Samsung 77" TV.  The remote control with my other Samsung televisions are made of metal. This TV's remote control is made of plastic. It looks and feels cheap and flimsy. The remote control has an internal USB-C rechargeable battery with solar backup. The Samsung TV remote control has the standard preset features: voice control, a button for quick settings, a home button, a start/stop button, and a previous button, and buttons for Netflix, Samsung Plus, Prime Video, and Disney apps. Samsung TVs have been an important source of entertainment in my household for years. They are excellent quality televisions that last. I strongly suspect this Samsung 77" Class S84D Series 4K OLED Smart Tizen TV will continue with Samsung's traditional excellence. I recommend it to my friends. I am confident in the quality and reliability that the Samsung brand consistently delivers.

This Samsung S84D OLED SmartTV offers excellent color, picture and resolution. The picture is more than bright enough for my very sunny west facing living room. This 77 in TV is both big and heavy but quite beautiful - having a very thin bezel. Assembly was complicated by one stand leg failing to stay snapped in place whenever we lifted the TV, but a little strip of masking tape took care of that. The TV was heavy enough that it took all of our combined strength to get it positioned on top of the TV cabinet. I suspect mounting it on the wall might be even more challenging. Regardless of how or where you mount it, you are most definitely going to enjoy it - hopefully as much as do I. The Tizen UI is a bit different from what I am accustomed to, but it is still quite intuitive to use and provides a wealth of useful functions to assist in making a viewing selection or changing the TV configuration. Adding apps is easy but not all of my favorite apps were available. Fortunately, my streaming devices (Roku 4K, Blu-ray player) were also easy to get connected and provided the missing app. I am not a gamer, so cannot offer any advice about it's suitability for that. The out of the box TV sound is pretty good but improved considerably when I connected my Q Symphony eligible Samsung 5.1 soundbar. Once connected and configured, the TV rendered incredibly good sound for TV shows, movies, and music by combining both TV speakers and soundbar speakers. The unlit remote is quite compact yet still provides all needed functions. However, it did take me a while to figure out that the volume and channel buttons are actually levers. Pushing the volume lever will mute or unmute the audio while leaning that lever up will increase audio volume and leaning it down will reduce the same. This TV is considered by the manufacturer to be an entry level OLED TV, but it seems high end to me and I am quite pleased with it. I hope it lasts a long time.

The Samsung S84D TV is a mid range 4K OLED tv that features a high end picture and utilizes the TIZEN operating system. I have a couple of other OLED TVs including a more expensive Samsung and an LG. The picture quality on the S84D is better than the LG and at least as good as the Samsung. The picture is sharp and bright even with non 4K content, contrast is excellent, blacks are true blacks as with OLED tv, and motion for sports, games, etc. are handled well. Although Dolby Vision is not supported, movies and youtube videos are amazing with the HDR10 support. The TIZEN operating system is a homegrown operating system that can replace Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, etc. with additional hardware support. I found the TIZEN operation system to be fast and easy to use and navigate and all major apps seemed to be supported. In summary, I find the OLED Samsung S84D tv to be an excellent performer and an excellent value. If you are looking for great picture quality and great performance, it is hard to beat.

I was hesitant because the price was so cheap for a 77" OLED tv and there were a few of the reviews said the picture looks dull or grey. I assure you after a few tweaks the the picture settings, this TV is the best I have ever owned. Color is amazing, crystal clear, kind of un-believable really. You need to turn off HDR, or it looks like a camcorder shot everything, turn up the color and down the contrast and it looks incredible. For the money, you can not beat it. If you have a window opposite the TV, might be too reflective, otherwise, we have a large north facing window, and not a problem. At night without outside light, that's where this thing really sings.

Love this tv. This was the best decision I made to upgrade my tv.

The TV itself is great. The remote is not. It is too small, especially for someone with larger fingers. It also needs a contrasting color to show the directional arrows. It is not very user friendly due to being so small and all black in color.

It's like being in a theater! Terrific picture, wonderful sound, easy to use and to stream.

Seriously good oled for relatively cheap. I ahd my doubts but Samsung delivers an amazing viewing and gaming experience for not much cost finally. It my not be the fastest chip but the display is insanely good

I paid BEST BUY DIRECTLY $259.00 to have a Samsung - 77” Class S84D Series 4K OLED Smart Tizen TV delivered and set-up at my home. The TV weighs 77 pounds and measures 67.5" wide and 41.7" high. When the BEST BUY contracted gentleman arrived at my home he was alone. I asked him if he had any help and he saiud "no". I asked if he needed my help and he said "yes". I am 67 years old and have surgery scheduled for a hernia in 3 days. I did not pay BEST BUY $259.00 for delivery and set-up to do this work. I paid them to have them either do the work or have their contracted representativeS do the work. This is a totally UNACCEPTABLE RIP OFF!!! My hernia enlarged due to the lifting and I did not get what I paid for. I am certain BEST BUY will place the blame on the contractor but I paid the money DIRECTLY to Best Buy. when I made the purchase. Be weary of dealing with these folks. Hopefully they don't expect a frail 95 year old man or woman to help when they deliver something to them as well. A VERY IRATE X CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to return this OLED model,because picture quality didn't compare to my my SAMSUNG 55inch QN85 Neo picture.which is much brighter and clearer! This is the lowest model OLED series from Samsung that's why it has the lowest price. Definitely not worth the so called original $3200 list price. I have a older LG OLED That still out performs This Samsung OLED MODEL!

Terrible quality. I'm confused about a majority of these comments that praise the quality, it's giving LCD 2010. I don't understand if whether I have a falty tv or this is the image the tv produces. It's very pixelated. I have to adjust the colors every time I watch a different movie. It's annoying. I tried changing the aspect ratio, it's the most difficult thing to do I don't know why. The colors were not impressive even with the boost. It was good for some movies, and not others. I'm coming from a 2020 Bravia which is pretty outdated, and I think my Bravia produces better quality than this TV. I'm exchanging this for the C4 LG next, hopefully it meets expectations.

I don't understand why people are being deceived: this TV cost 3300 and I got a 50% discount (1700), and after a while I see that the price has changed and the real price is 1700 and it turns out that I was given a discount of only 200 dollars, not 1700. But the TV is good, but not perfect. Sometimes there are slowdowns and image distortion. best buy constantly deceives in the real price of the cost of goods and this is not the first time

Delivered today but DOA didn't turn on at all while setting up. No visible damage, think I was sent a dud.
