I bought this on sale and it was an obvious choice for my budget and what I wanted in size and type (OLED). The pucture quality is fantastic and it was very easy to get set up. I bought a Sonos Beam 2 to go with it for a sound bar. I lovebit, too, but had priblems keeping it connected to the e-arc HDMI port. Eventually, I just switched to the optical port and it works fine. In that process, i had two support calls to Samsung. They were easy to contact and were very helpful and tried their best to help. I didnt get the perfect resolution, but I was happy with their efforts.

I recently purchased this TV, which I returned after a week of extensive use and testing. Here's my breakdown of its pros and cons: Pros: Exceptional QD OLED Panel: The display quality is outstanding. At times, it's akin to looking directly into a flashlight due to its brightness. Vibrant Colors: Animation movies and 4K content look fantastic. I tested it with the Super Mario Brothers movie, and the colors, brightness, and contrast were impressive. Gamer-Friendly: The TV is equipped with four 120Hz inputs, making it a great choice for gamers. Cons: Poor Upscaling of Low-Resolution Content: The upscaling is overly aggressive, resulting in a loss of detail and subtlety, especially in faces and objects. Even with an Nvidia Shield Pro, the issue persisted. Samsung's upscaling technology falls short compared to Sony's XR.Samsung should have a setting to adjust the upscaling factor or turn it off and let the external devices do the upscaling like the nVidia Shield Pro for example. Inefficient Input Management: Despite having Anynet CEC, the TV struggled with managing various connected devices. It frequently failed to remember the correct device settings, leading to constant manual adjustments. Inconvenient Remote Design: The remote lacks a dedicated input button, forcing a cumbersome process to switch between devices. Additionally, it's not backlit, and the Quick Settings button becomes unresponsive during device switching. I did update all the firmware and apps to the latest version prior to using this TV,. After evaluating these aspects, I decided to switch to the Sony A80L, which excels in XR processing. It delivers more natural and lifelike images across all content types, from 4K to standard TV channels. The remote control is also great with backlit feature that lights up when you pick it up. In summary, this TV might be suitable for those who primarily play games or watch movies. However, for a more versatile viewing experience, I found the Sony model to be superior, despite its WOLED panel not being as bright as Samsung's. This review reflects my genuine experience, and I returned the TV mainly due to its frustrating user interface.

I recently purchased a Samsung TV and I must say, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. The picture quality is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors and sharp details that bring my favorite shows and movies to life. The 4K resolution ensures crystal-clear visuals, making every viewing experience truly immersive. The design of the TV is sleek and modern, adding a touch of elegance to my living room. The slim bezels and slim profile give it a minimalist look that fits seamlessly into any space. The build quality is excellent, with solid construction and a sturdy stand that provides stability. One feature that I particularly love is the smart functionality of the TV. With the built-in Wi-Fi and access to various streaming platforms, I can easily navigate through my favorite apps and enjoy a wide range of content. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making it a breeze to find and watch my favorite shows and movies. The sound quality of the Samsung TV is also impressive. The built-in speakers deliver clear and immersive audio, enhancing the overall viewing experience. However, for an even more immersive sound experience, I would recommend pairing the TV with a soundbar or a home theater system. In terms of connectivity options, the Samsung TV offers a variety of ports including HDMI, USB, and Ethernet, allowing me to connect my gaming console, Blu-ray player, and other devices effortlessly. The TV also supports Bluetooth, which enables me to connect wireless headphones or speakers for a personalized audio experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Samsung TV. It offers exceptional picture quality, sleek design, smart functionality, and impressive sound quality. Whether you're a movie buff, a gamer, or simply enjoy watching your favorite shows, this TV will undoubtedly enhance your viewing experience.

No complaints so far. As others have mentioned this TV is the same QD-OLED as the s90c... the only thing that changes apparently is the legs, which I really don't like the legs on this TV...it does the job but not sure I trust too much. But the image is great, very bright and colorful... great for gaming. I had purchased a LG C3 and although it is also a great TV there were certain moments that I definitely felt some lack of brightness/dim...which is not the case with the Samsung QD-OLED.

I've had several weeks now with tv. Overall, Im really pleased with picture quality. SDR content is acceptable and HDR is spectacular. I was initially concerned with lack of oled tv brightness during day time viewing in my living room. Turns out the S89 has all the brightness i need and looks great, no issues at all. No screen reflection issues either. The legs (stand) are sketchy... but, they work. My tv hasnt fallen even when moving my media cabinet. May replace with better quality tv stand some day. The remote control is a bit of a disppointment. I have other Samsung TVs so Im used to remote layout and small size. However, this version seems really... cheap. Oh well, not a deal breaker. Im sure the 77" flagship oled models from Sony and LG are great tvs as well, but im supremely confident they arent $2k-3k better. A 77" QD OLED for $1800, its a no brainer.

I love this TV. I've never had an OLED before, and I highly considered going larger with a cheaper LED screen, but glad I didn't. The picture quality is phenomenal. There are countless online discussions about LG's Dolby Vision vs Samsung or Sony but I feel like you have to have the eyes of an eagle to pick up on the differences, never mind appreciate them. This has an incredible picture quality and at a price that can't be beat for its size. Very happy with this TV.

Amazing picture quality. The lg c2 I had doesn't compare. The color volume coupled with the color brightness makes for a display like no other. There were some glitches with the settings but always found a workaround.

TV right out of the box is REALLY BRIGHT. But I guess that’s because it’s an OLED. The whitest whites and the blackest blacks. After you tweak the video settings, in which there are many ways, the burning of your eyes and the headache you got from the blinding light of God shining through the tv goes away. That being said it’s a great tv, colors pop, sound is good for an average sized room and the remote automatically works any device that’s connected to the TV which is a big plus.

I bought this tv a few days ago and it's quite amazing. The streaming apps work well without needing an external device. Moved up from a Hisense 65 U8K which is good but I've always had OLEDs before.

Coming from 2 LG OLED tvs to this I can say that QD OLED is a step above. The colors pop and the added brightness of this panel really makes HDR more lifelike. On top of that the game modes on this make playing PS5 and Xbox next level too. The price was also better than most 65" OLEDs from other manufactures. The only downside is the slightly wobbly cheap plastic stands. But if you count the TV that shouldn't be a problem.

Big ole beauty of a TV. Set to filmmaker mode and “warm 2”. Didn’t have to do much else, besides disabling auto brightness. Standard 1080p content is good. 4k is out of this world. Watched the new Trolls and Marvels movies and fell in love. Sale price was awesome—this tv under $2k is a steal. All my other tvs are LG OLED, but I’m glad I gave this a chance.

I was deciding between this and the LG B3 model. After reading and looking at reviews, it seems the 89C is 99% of a 90C for $500 less so I chose this. I can only compare it to the 9 year-old 1080p Plasma TV it's replacing but the picture is absolutely fantastic. I seems like movie theatre quality. Blacks are blacks, details are crisp and I can see everything even in dark scenes where details would get lost on my older TV.

Great product AND great value. I’m very happy with my purchase so far - had it for nearly 4 weeks now. I moved from a 55’’ to this massive 77’’. My family room is shaped in a way that most of the viewing would be off to the side. I was very pleasantly surprised how bright and sharp the picture stayed at the side angles. Very good picture quality! I just wished that TV stations would broadcast in 4k. Upscaling isn’t perfect.

This Samsung television is very clear and vibrant, even in our fairly bright living room. We were worried that an OLED TV wouldn't work for us, but Samsung proved us wrong. Setup was easy and we also love the smart adaptive viewing feature of this TV. The price was great and the associate from the store (David) gave us a lot of great information that helped us with our product decision.

This was a great deal. This is the s90c minis the tv stand plate. On top of that it is a generational 2 panel(1st gen had burn in issues) also comes with the anti glare coated that wasnt available earlier on in 2023 a great value ,awesome picture .if you want a great tv at a superb value this is it. I got the 77 on dale for 1799+tax. The brightness is almost 30 percent better then lg c2,c3 etc.

I had been contemplating upgrading my 10 year old Samsung 1080P 75" LED to a 77" OLED for over a year, just because....lol. This sale put me over the edge. The set is awesome and seems even brighter than the old LED, so viewing in my family room during the daytime is without issue. OTA TV broadcasts look exceptional as does program material from my Firestick 4K. Very happy with my purchase

Fantastic picture, between the color and contrast it almost doesn't look real. The sound is ok, adding a sound bar would be best. Some of the complaints were that it would drop the WiFi connection. I havn't had any problems with that. The remote is small but once you figure it out, it is fine. I paired my Firestick with the TV so that is the remote I use all the time anyway.
