Really good tv, motion is little tricky to dial in but it looks good. Excellent refresh for video games. Had bad luck with Samsung in the past but hopefully this goes well. This tv actually has more bandwidth to the display than the flagship s95c, but s95c tops it for brightness. Wish companies can standardize where the connections are, it was a replacement tv in my basement media room. Had to get creative with my cables due to hdmi and optical connections on the other side of my older lg tv. Probably lower performance in a bright living room than a led backlight tv. But perfect in darker room. I do notice a difference on really bright scenes that it is dimmer than a led backlight tv, but everything else way outperforms lcd backlight tv.

I bought this to replace my Sony 65 X90. The picture quality is amazing straight out of the box. I did some minor adjustments from videos I found on YouTube but I couldn’t be any happier with my purschase. Refresh rate clarity color contrast basically everything about the tv is great. I do have it hooked up to a 9.2 home theater system so I can speak for the sound quality. Anything this big needs to be hooked up to a home theater or Atleast sound bar.

I upgraded to the Samsung 77" Class S90C OLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV, and it’s been a game changer for my home entertainment! The picture quality is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors and deep blacks that really make movies and shows pop. Watching in 4K is a whole new experience, especially with the HDR support that enhances details in every scene.
The size is perfect for my living room; it truly feels like a cinematic experience at home. The sleek design adds a modern touch, and the thin bezels make the screen feel even larger. I love the Tizen operating system—navigating through apps like Netflix and Disney+ is smooth and user-friendly.
One feature I appreciate is the variety of picture modes, which allow me to customize the settings based on what I’m watching, whether it's sports, movies, or gaming. The built-in speakers deliver decent sound, but I opted to connect it to my sound system for that immersive audio experience.
Overall, the Samsung S90C OLED TV is an incredible investment for anyone looking to elevate their viewing experience. If you want top-notch picture quality and smart features, this TV is definitely worth considering!

77” 4K 144hz QD-OLED 1000 nits!

I was skeptical of buying Samsung, but this is legit. QD-OLED is the best display tech available. You get per pixel dimming for true blacks and no blooming, while being able to hit 1000+ nits of peak brightness, which results in unbelieveable HDR. Gaming in 4K HDR on a big TV like this is so immersive, it’s overwhelming at first. One downside is Samsung’s OS and software, but I left mine disconnected from internet. It has no handshake issues with my Apple TV 4k, gaming PC, or home theater system. The design is excellent with a metal stand, a vibrant glossy finish, and an overall premium package. I am very glad such a high quality display in a big size has become this affordable.

I bought the 77 S90C for my bedroom and boy oh boy let me tell you. I didn’t have the funds for the s95c 77 because I also bought the 77 lg c3 for my living room. Both stunning TVs. I love them both. But the Samsung takes the cake. It gets way brighter and has better gaming features. Also does 144hz for all the pc gamers. I play on ps5 and series X and I recommend the s90c over the C3. Don’t let the Dolby vision be a deal breaker. This tv is a monster with its hdr10+

Samsung 77” S90c Oled

I bought Samsung QN85c but after seeing a side by side comparison with S90c there was no comparison. It was a hard decision but at the end of the day I went with the quality of the screen over size.
Pro:
Beautiful contrast, colors were vibrant, very bright on vivid mode, great for daytime viewing even at some direct sunlight, sale price. I believe this is the newer screen than last year model and is the same tech as the S95c, thin screen but very sturdy to handle, great screen tech under game mode, built in solar panel to charge the remote control and surprisingly the speakers sounded good with noticeable low end/bass.
Cons:
Image color can be too warm (reds/yellow tends to saturate more than other tv). You will need to play with color adjustments in the setting. Wished there are more available settings for custom control and adjustment. Can’t show the volume numbers with third party sound bar (Bose 900). On dark scenes, tv display doesn’t produce black gradient image well, it shows banding, pixelate and not smooth. My biggest gripe is the pixel shifting, it’s not the issue with the tv but when pixel shift mode is on, border/frame thickness will varies, example - left edge can be 1/2” thick compared to top, right and bottom border/frame. This is to prevent pixel burn because the entire screen rotate very slightly where you can’t tell while watching the tv but if you look at the edge of the tv you can see the different. It bothered me a lot since I’m a visual designer. I could turn it off but I may get dead pixel of screen burn after a few years. Hopefully my next tv technology will fix this issue. Until then, they said this screen should last up to 8-10 years. But I’m doubtful that it’ll last for that long. I would recommend buying an extended warranty.
All in all, this is the best TV for the price and tech. Sure you can find a better TV like the Sony AL90 but you will pay over $4K for a 77” tv. As technology cycles very fast, to me this is the best bang for what I was willing to spend.

Great TV! Color and brightness are perfect even whether I the blinds in my living room are opened or closed. Zero burn in as the TV goes into sleep mode so for anyone concerned about this, it should be a non-issue. Before purchasing I did hours of research on cost vs quality and this TV was always the #1 or #2 option. OLED is definitely still superior to even the top mini-led TVs. Big open living room and I cannot see a reason you need a sound bar or additional speakers (unless that’s just your thing), sound is great and clear!

Tv has been amazing!! We love everything about it.. From movie night to fight night and everything between!! What stood out the most after upgrading from an older Samsung 65” was just how FAST this thing runs.. it’ll hop from one app to another and back to Home Screen and another app as fast as you can click the buttons, there’s absolutely ZERO lag of freezing up between apps or commands.. Game mode is absolutely incredible as well.. don’t have to “tune” the TV settings every time we want to play games or go back to the TV.. It takes care of all the needed settings with a push of a button!! We also purchased the top tier sound bar with this TV, the one that has the wireless subwoofer AND wireless rear speakers.. I was a little skeptical at first, being a soundbar and not a “true” surround sound… but let me tell you, it blew all of us away!! That’s another place the TV shines, everything is Samsung and it all links together to provide an additional sound setting/setup “Symphony” which allows the TV speakers to mix in with the soundbar/surround system!! I could go on and on about how awesome this TV is.. but I think it speaks for itself! Even down to the REMOTE!!! The remote itself is a modern piece of ART!!! NO MORE DEAD BATTERIES!!!! It’s SOLAR… I’ll let that sink in for a min…. That’s right!! It’s got a small solar panel on the back that charges the remote while laying on the table face down!!! Don’t worry.. it also has a type C port to charge the remote just in case which I was happy to see because I’m like there’s NO WAY this remote will charge enough in my dark room, etc… welllll I’ll tell you this, the remote hasn’t EVER been plugged in… we’re a big family with young kids and the TV is always being used… The remote has NEVER been dead or needed plugged in!! As small as this seems, it’s one of my favorite parts about this TV!! Obviously that’s after how stunning the picture is and how well this TV runs, not to mention how setting/feature rich it is!!! I don’t see us replacing this unit for years to come!!
P.S. Not sure if it matters to you.. but for some reason I LOVE to see a super thin TV with a tiny bezel around it.. just makes it look that much more sleek and modern!! This TV is SUPER thin!! The bezel is almost nonexistent.. The entire back is paper thin expect for a smaller area towards the bottom/center where the mount attaches and the connection board is located!! That’s how thin this thing is… they had to make a section just for the mount and board that was thicker, so they could house these items!!

77” S90C is the TV of 2023

This TV has been voted the TV to beat this year by quite a few respected TV reviewers. Check out Stop The Fomo’s choice for TV of 2023 in his video on YouTube. The second gen QD-OLED panel in the 77” version of the S90C is the same panel that is in the flagship S95C for $1K less. Picture quality is amazing and this TV gets extremely bright. It’s peak brightness is on par with the LG G3 and blows the LG C3 and the Sony A80L out of the water. It has also been voted the best gaming TV currently available by most reviewers. There is a reason this thing is constantly sold out at Best Buy….go out and grab one if you can find one, you won’t regret it!

The colors are amazing. I never knew that having individual Pixels for each color could change a TV so dramatically. The Colors are so vibrant that when you walk in the house your eyes are drawn to the TV. The Colors and contrast are consistent no matter what angle you’re looking at. if you have a gamer in your house, this TV changes the entire experience. The black pixels alone.. Until you see it, you’ll never understand. Definitely worth paying more quality is unmeasurable.

Great for gaming, shows & movies. Purchased this Samsung 77" Class S90C OLED about a year ago and so far no issues. First ordered the 65" Inch but exchanged it with the 77" inch size to fill out the living and would highly recommend to purchase 77" or higher depending on what room you are using the television for.

I upgraded from Samsung Q80 65” QLED to this. There was nothing wrong with it and I thought I had a perfect tv until I saw this. I didn’t know the difference between QLED, Neo QLED, and OLED. Well apparently the better graphics goes in that order.
The picture is so bright and popping! It is very easy to set up. Applying the stand was awkward and needed 2 people. The only downside I think is the remote is solar powered or there’s a slot at end where I think a Type C charger can fit in it. And the TV speakers are not the greatest. I highly recommend a soundbar surround sound system which I bought Samsung 9.1 for it.
But the clarity and brightness and smooth movement (like a thrown football) is truly amazing and I love it!!
