Samsung 77” OLED TV died in first two weeks -

This 77” Samsung OLED television stopped working suddenly and the screen went black and dead within two weeks of use.
I purchased this television as a Christmas present for my children and was completely disappointed to levels incomprehensible- when it suddenly died while they were watching it. Afterwards I read reviews on the Samsung website and found out this exact television has numerous complaints reporting this exact problem - it simply dies after short usage.
Will not ever purchase a Samsung ever again.
I have to wait over 10 days for a Best Buy refund to my account before I can shop for a new - different brand television and I am angry and disgusted with both the store and the manufacturer.
Good riddance to an awful television and I will definitely read the reviews BEFORE I make another purchase.

I’m a huge football fan and there’s no better way to watch other than being at the game live. Love my new 77” Samsung OLED! Thank you Best Buy!

Very poor quality control by Samsung. Got my first S90D delivered 3 weeks ago and it had the power port loose and 2 small scratches. Got the 2nd replacement TV a week later and mount technician noticed adhesive was coming off. They also gave me a old used remote that was scratched. 3rd TV delivered a week later, same adhesive issue as 2nd TV. Also Samsung Auto Updates TV even if you turn auto update off, they force updates and the brightness of the TV completely changed and got dimmer. Returned and got the LG G4, cant wait for delivery!

So, I bought the display model for $1,242, but the guys loading it on the truck ended up breaking it, so Best Buy gave me a brand new one! SCORE! Let me tell you, WOW!!! Coming from a 65" Hisense U8N to the 77" S90D, I'm seriously blown away! Even with the lack of Dolby Vision, I honestly don't miss it. DV content will be displayed in HDR10, and then Samsung leverages the QD-OLED panel with their algorithm to make it even better. HDR10+ is just... mind bogglingly good on this panel! Those of you afraid of its bright room performance, fear not. The anti-reflection coating is excellent, and it's more than bright enough. Don't hesitate!

Cant say enough about the quality of this tv. Outstanding picture, processing. The new tizen is excellent. Compared these next to sony and lg woled and this excelled between the 3. Samsung s90d 77" for the win! This quantum dot "qd oled" is the next level from woled.

This Samsung has incredible picture quality and works well in a dark or light room. We are currently on our 100th Samsung tv through the years and this one is the best.

Love the TV… color and picture is great. Sound is okay… we added a sound bar to enhance that. I don’t like the stand that comes with it as it forces us to move the sound bar towards the front of the console. I plan on mounting it to the wall… to fix that.

This TV is amazing. Picture is beautiful. I used filmmaker Mode movies and I can see the smallest details. Blacks are true blacks.
Shout out to Geek Squad (Justin and assistant) prompt arrival connected tv and devices. Connected to Samsung Q 990C surround sound with sattelite back speakers and bass. Amazing sound no wires all over room. So happy.

We bought this TV after doing what I thought was an appropriate amount of research on the best Quality for our money!!! I could not have been more wrong!!! We bought it on December 20 so we had the new TV for the holiday! We ended up not having a TV at all for the holiday!!! It stopped working on day 5, the stand by light would not even on!!! We called best buy and they told us that due to not being able to find our addreess we would have to return it to the closest store! Thos was over an hour away!!! When we arrived at the store we were the 3rd customer to retun the same TV that day!!!!! Do not waste your money!!!! We bought an LG that day and the Best Buy Employees in Bristol, Virginia could not have been better!!! The in store service was a 5 star!!!! I never write reviews but i am writing this one to keep you from making the same mistake that we made!!!

I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I love the clear sharpness of the picture, whether sitting closer or farther away. I also love the stand that comes with the tv. Samsung's OLED is wirth the money.

This 77” tv has the clearest picture and most vivid colors. I love watching Netflix, Amazon Prime and Peacock in addition to the local television channels. And watching NFL football is my favorite!

Just like most of the reviews on here the power supply went out. Luckily it was about 2 weeks before end of warranty just like everyone else. Samsung and the local repair shop that's contacted with them both hate people and hate customer service so it's a blast dealing with threatening texts over the last few weeks from the repair shop saying they are going to cancel my appointment if I don't do whatever they want for the next two weeks.
