Hi Jron,
We appreciate your feedback on the lip sync issues you’re experiencing with your S95C TV. This could possibly be a source issue, but if you’re hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a receiver, soundbar, or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay.
Our 2023 TVs have an audio Pass-Through feature, which allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external device then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.
On your TV, go to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through.
Please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If you’ve tried these steps and your issue persists, please contact us for troubleshooting, and a Support agent will gladly assist you. Just call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, 7 days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for:

Nice tv. Good picture quality. I enjoy watching with family. Best tv i ever had. But my experience with associate, employees and customer service is the worst. I bought a open box and lots of missing pieces. They promise me to build the stand but they just deliver the tv in my front door. I need to deal with a lot of senarios to get the tv set up. I spend and ordered other parts to get the tv work which in the first place it should been included.

Tv looked good, the smart hub worked well, I love the remote. Unfortunately after a few months the tv stop working, I could hear audio but the video didn’t work, just showed a black screen. It’s under warranty but my case with Samsung support is a month old and after multiple in-home service calls, there’s still no resolution.

Works,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your S95C TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode.
If adjusting image settings does not improve your picture, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Or visit us on the Samsung website and click on the ‘Support’ link for: • LiveChat • Manuals, Software, & Warranty Info

Martin,
I'm sorry to hear of the confusion regarding the S95C TV's specifications, and we appreciate your thoughts on the image quality. To ensure you’ve got the latest image updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.
Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).
If your screen is flickering, please try changing the dimming features of your TV by adjusting some of the energy efficiency features designed to reduce power consumption. The ECO sensor automatically adjusts the brightness level of the TV according to the ambient light level. If the ECO Sensor has adjusted the screen’s brightness level, you can select Min. Backlight to manually adjust the minimum screen brightness. You can also disable these features for steady brightness setting.
You can adjust Brightness Optimization, Brightness Reduction, Motion Lighting, or Contrast Enhancer by going to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving.
You can also go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer to manually adjust contrast.

FIRM.WARE NERF STRIKE AGAIN.

Consider yourself warned. If you have this tv and you haven’t updated the firm.ware to 1123, consider yourself lucky. 1123 nerfed sdr brightness, unless you have your brightness slider maxed out. Peak brightness on high only works when the brightness slider is anywhere between 48-50 which is super bright. Once you set it to 47 or lower it becomes dim just like any other oled. No in between thanks to the updat.e. I thought samsung learned their lesson from the huge backlash they endured due to their broken firm.Ware upda.tes last year. I guess I was wrong. They picked up right where they left off!

I have to admit incant stand samung tvs … but anweird pop noise on all 3 lg g3 i bought annoyed me so much that i wanted to try this qd oled tech… and its amazing … the tech is perfect .. screen uniformity , colors its seeiously amazing … i still really dont rpefer samsung tvs .. for example if lg had this tech or when the new sony comes out i would tathee have either of those .. but the samung s95c gets 5 stars mainly for their tech .. i use an apple tv so i really dont mind the terrible operating system .. the no dby vision thing is such an annoying thing but the panel technis so great you forget about that in a matter of days .. its the same feeling i had when lg made oled and i thoight about switching .. i didnt like lg but the tech was so superior i still bought one now years later lg has mastered woled but unfortunately samsung display has created a superior tech.. the sony a95l might end up being the best tv of the year but the samusng s95c is still awesome .. i love the design , the stand feels very nice , and the picture is unbelievable .. give qd oled a try you will see the difference .. lg beeds to adopt this gor their flagship model

DaveG,
DaveG,
It’s unfortunate to hear your S95C TV is turning off by itself. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1. Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector and leave it unplugged for 30 seconds. 2. Check the power cord to see if there is any visible damage. 3. Plug the TV power cord back into the wall outlet. If you were using a surge protector, bypass it for now and use a wall outlet. 4. Try to update the software. In some cases, a software update can correct the problem. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
If the TV continues to turn off by itself, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Absolute Game changer!

Having the 77G2 and 55S95B from last year, i was suprised with how well the S95B is. Finally an oled that is a true combo of an lcd and oled. Having had many tv's including A80J, X950H and the CX, i was always a bit dissapointed with the brightness of oled and the ABL. The QD oled technology is more a revolution than an evolution in display tech. The G2 is also great, but does not come close in (sustained) HDR brightness and the G2 gets a big hit in SDR gaming in brightness like on the Switch. This all does not happen with the S95B or S95C.
With that said, the S95C is on a few levels a step up from the S95B and in my opinion the pinnacle of the best tv of this time and probably years to come. Improvements over S95B:
+ HDR tone mapping
+ HDR gets much brighter
+ Game mode much brighter / more advanced
+ Improved colors like skin tone
The best new feature is the HDR tone mapping. This is what i was waiting for and seperated the S95B from the S95C. On the S95B in HDR movies, i had to use contrast enhancer sometimes on low. The contrast enhancer can now be fully ignored and shouldn't be used in any mode. Colors are more vibrant and the brightness is truly next level. It is important to know how to setup and use the settings for the best picture, like how to enable BT2020 in HDR to make fully use of the QD color volume and disabling all energy saving settings.
So is the S95C worth the price premium at the moment and better than the S95B. Yes, to me it is. I see the S95B more of an introduction in QD oled tech and the S95C as the finalized product. If you are not in a hurry, then wait for black friday and pick up the S95C instead of the S95B.

Hi Steven,
It’s great to hear Samsung’s S95C OLED has exceeded your expectations! With High Dynamic Range (HDR), your favorite content leaps off the screen with unimaginable detail and color. Quantum HDR OLED+ further expands the dynamic range, making it possible to go from deep black to crisp white all with a wider spectrum of cinematic colors. And with HDR10+ that adjusts the dynamic range scene-by-scene to optimize the picture, the director’s vision comes alive on the screen.
