My 50" plasma which I've had for 15 years started to malfunction, so I researched and went to Best Buy. I decided on this TV, which is a good fit for my living room with a Denton sound bar. I had Geek Squad install it. I couldn't be happier. The picture is beautiful. The TV has internet access through my wireless network.

So far this is an excellent buy!! the picture quality is very good at to mention the sound. It has surpass my expectation!!!!

Excellent tv. Fantastic picture and color. Easy to navigate

I initially fell in love with this TV after seeing in on display at the Best Buy in King of Prussia. The in-store demo was brilliant and curved screen seemed translate in terms of depth. Since KOP did not have it in stock, I ordered it on BestBuy.com and did a pickup at my local store. Everything went well in that regard. Setup was easy and straight forward. This unit replaced an 8 year-old Samsung 55” LCD that I was very satisfied with. 6 days in and I am thoroughly unsatisfied with the video quality of this TV. The biggest complaint stems from the curved screen. Even with our recessed can lights dimmed to the lowest setting, the screen horizontally reflects and refracts said lighting. It is impossible to enjoy the TV in a seated position with the lights on. That makes the TV totally impractical for a living room where some light is required for multitasking. This was not a problem on my flat TV. Problem 2 - during dark scenes white splotches can be seen scattered around the screen. Some are the size of a softball, others the size of a volleyball. Very disturbing! Problem 3 - the picture is blurry during faster motion scenes. Scenes commonly found on the average TV show or movie. I am not talking about content that is primarily action either. Problem 4 - despite working with picture modes and adjustments, some content looks awful in terms of either brightness, clarity, color, sharpness, or some combination there of. Non-HD channels are horrid. Yet, some content looks amazing. The 8 year-old Samsung 55 exhibited none of these negative attributes or performance issues. Upon setup, I decided to route the sources through the TV and then out to the A/V receiver. Previously, I ran the sources to the A/V receiver (Pioneer Elite SC-55), but the video switching is slow and it requires more steps to change sources. When setting up the new TV, I decided that letting the TV handle the audio and video switching would result in a more convenient operation, best video output, and best control / integration of the sources. The TV performed well with integration and control of a Comcast Cable Box, Apple TV, and PlayStation 3. The remote works very well. While the TV features an optical output and a HDMI ARC, I feel a total of 4 HDMI port should be a minimum, not 3. Ultimately, I would not recommend this TV. I will be returning this TV in a few days for something different, most likely a flat LG. Note to Samsung – If you have to make quality and performance sacrifices to hit a price point 78”, don’t bother. You are wasting the time of the consumers and the retailers.

This TV is great if you don't care about watching movies that have dark scenes. The backlight bleeding is killing this TV. Samsung said it is backlit technology and not Edge-lit. if this is the case, I'm not sure why the backlight bleeding appears around the edge of the TV!!!. I changed the Backlight setting to 10 and the Brightness to 35, and still the backlights are really bad. I attached couple of photos.

We didn't go in wanting to buy this particular TV We knew we wanted a Samsung but not this size. After talking with a couple of sales guys and a person who owned the TV we went with it and so glad we did. Beautiful picture...OVERALL a terrific TV Happy with our purchase

So far I am really disappointed. My biggest problem is with the motion rate. I was just watching a comedy that didn't even have fast movement in it and it is jerky. I am dreading trying an action movie. Coming in a close 2nd is how it handles non-HD channels. Those look just horrible. Last on my list is the remote. I know they were trying to make it look sleek and sexy but they also made it hard to hold and annoying to use. Please tell Samsung that buttons on a remote are not a bad thing. For $4,000 I expected better. I'm going to have to see what my return options are because I just don't think I can live with this.

Really love everything about the curved TV's. Only negative is there is no control buttons on the actual TV so a remote is needed. I was trying to access the settings menu to adjust the screen and had a difficult time.

This smart TV was the best value at the time because the OLED’s were just coming out in 40’inch and 52’inch versions and ill be honest, this feels like the prototype of the OLED. Blacks couldn’t be more amazing. 4K quality is perfect.

TV is very clear and images look good. Just you need to turn off lights on your room or not have any light coming from anywhere because it will reflect light on screen tv and you would not be able to have a clear image.

So far this tv has met our expectations. I heard great things about Samsung's larger screens. Picture quality is great and the curve is helpful with side views.

This is a replacement for a defective 7100 series 75" that I had bought back in May . This seams to be a much better TV .

REcent Recent golf Tournaments were in Hawaii & West Coast. The scenery there was wonderful and the richness of the colors made the telecasts so much better.

This is a great tv. I am extremely happy with my purchase. The curve design is perfect for my man cave. The picture quality is great. I highly recommend this tv to anyone.

Not much to say when you have the biggest and best looking TV out there. Use Amazon fire mostly and auto powers on after picking up Amazon remote -- great feature
