With 4K ultra hd the tv makes all images vivid. Now movie and game time is always at my house. FYI this is the second 78 curve tv that I have purchased and definitely the best model.

The TV is as awesome as it gets... You will need to play with the picture setting to etbthe best viewing for Sports, Movie and etc... Added the Samsung Sound bar as it works out like a champ:)

The picture is AMAZING!!!!! Colors are brighter than life! We love just watching Apple TV screen saver sometimes the picture is so BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

Absolutely the best large screen TV I've ever owned.....

This TV exceeded my expectations. Watching the limited 4K available content on this TV blows your mind. After playing around with picture settings, I finally got it work the way I liked the picture. I have become an arm chair traveler watching 4K tourism content. My only gripe is with the smart universal remote - it doesn't work with my receiver and there is no clear documentation how to get it work properly with other components.

Selecting a large screen TV is not easy. The 2016 model year will be the last year that the 78 inch size will be offered. It offers a worthwhile 3.5 inches greater diagonal size than a 75 inch sets which only measures an actual 74.5 inches. It is the only Samsung set to offer a full array backlight. At 104 pounds, this set is at the limits of what two average size persons can lift. Up sizing to an 80 inch plus screen will add about 40 pounds. The picture quality offers great color saturation, high output brightness, and super sharp scaling of all 4k and less than 4k density images. The processor is very quick for accessing jpeg files and works well with any hard drive connected to it. There are three USB inputs of which two have 1v of power for hard drive usage. It is amazing to see the superb upscaling quality of small jpeg files blown up to fill this giant screen. The viewing angle both horizontal and vertical is more narrow than that of a average LCD TV but offers a superior picture within the viewer span of a three across sofa. The TV's sound quality is better than average, with natural voicing and warmth unlike the tiny sound of other sets. The bigness negative is the variability of the black levels as affected by the overall quantity of light present on the screen. The screen can get quite black but falls short of the control that individual pixeled OLED screens can achieve. The screen is curved which adds nothing to the viewing experience, but it is soon forgotten while viewing. Setting the picture controls is highly critical. It is possible to make the picture look really bad if mal-adjusted. I recommend using the "High" setting in the custom auto-dimming menu, and liberal use of the Blurr and Judder controls. Highly recommended if you need a screen of this size, and are able to find one that will fit within your budget. It's overall picture performance exceeds than of any lessor priced LCD screens.

Beautiful tv, great picture quality. The TV is expensive, but is worth every penny. Image is perfect under any light, and connected seamless with my receiver, DVD, wireless internet. The new remote is very modern, and can not be simpler and easier to use. I was so pleased I was able to purchase this through Best Buy pain free, excellent customer support, free delivery and set-up. I just can't describe how satisfied I am with this TV.

This tv is just exceptional. The picture is crisp, clear, and bright. Colors are amazing, makes you feel like you are there. We added a Samsung sound bar so the audio is just perfect too. We love the way all our Samsung devices work seamlessly together. This is our second Samsung and we are sticking with this brand for our next purchase. Best Buy Geek Squad did an outstanding job as well.

This TV has an amazing picture. The best color I have ever seen, and Top notch HDR spectral highlighting. The black level is great I watch mostly in a dark room and I have to look pretty hard to see any light from the backlighting. The tint is great I have a large fishtank in the back of my room and it breaks up the glare like nothing ive ever seen before.

Large and very good picture. Haven't used with 4K yet but have an Xbox Scorpio on the way.

The X3's were worth the wait. No issues with the wireless setup and the sound app is very nice. Seamless functions made the product nice to set up and operate right out of the box.

Best TV I've ever owned. The picture quality is so amazing! Very clear, vibrant and real. Samsung is always my choice when it comes to electronics. Only downfall they dont seem to correct is the sound. To get the entire "theater" experience, sound is important, so a sound bar was a must. Overall, this tv is awesome.

I bought this TV because of the great price I got the display model for! I have never been more satisfied with a purchase deep blacks, smart remote, hdr, 4k all on one set. My only thing is if you are not wanting a bight tv this is not the one for you but other than that great buy!

I've had the latest Samsung TVs (65" and 78" KS9800) for only two weeks but so far I am very impressed with the picture quality and brightness of both units. The 65" is in my living room while the 78" is in my home theater room. Obviously the lighting in these two rooms is different but no matter their location, both units have exceptional picture quality and ambient lighting adjustments make it possible to have the best uncompromised viewing experience.
