Great TV. Good picture quality specially with a 4K Apple TV

I originally started off with the 75 inch Samsung… But then I went back to Best Buy and saw the 82 inch… With more features… Best Buy was more than accommodating! They came and picked up the 75 inch and dropped off the 82 inch. I couldn’t be happier with the smart TV.

Love the television I use it at my home office for gaming it can do 1440 p at 120 hz and 4k at 60 hz it’s nice it has vrr and free sync ultimate also u can achieve Dolby plus and atmost as long as your receiver is capable I’ve owb this tv for over 6 months no issues

We love our tv! When it was being installed the geek squad found scratches on the tv. Advised me to call or go up to the store and get the tv replaced. Great service provided by the geek squad and we love our tv! Definitely recommend the installation

So far so good had to plug it back in wants to reset it hopefully this is not an issue works great with Google and runs my receiver to.

Returning the tv after a few days. Picture quality is ok. The settings are fairly limited, so getting the picture to look sharp and balanced is not happening (been trying since last Friday). The picture always has a grainy and a washed out look. Face blur is present, except on close ups and motion blur occurs regardless of any of the "anti-blur" setting. Purples, pinks and greens are way too vivid, not in a good way. They almost look like they are overlayed on the screen (see pics). They are not balanced to the other colors, it's driving me crazy! Best buy was great in exchanging the tv, they are picking it up at no cost. Unfortunately it cost me another $1,000.00 to get the quality picture that I was expecting to get from Samsung. I went for the Sony H900.

Not too good! I keep having trouble with my XBox X & PS5 losing signal and instantly going into a total black screen for about 5 - 10 seconds out of nowhere. I’m super salty because I paid all this money for this tv to be installed on the wall as well; so I’m hoping it’s a light & quick fix.

I have 3 other Samsung 8000 series and this one is the biggest. It made the 65 inch looked a lot smaller than it is. I chose the Samsung 8000 Series over its QLED because of the prize and, I cannot tell the difference in picture quality between the QLED and the 8000 Series. They are both 4K displays and when compared side by side in other stores, the picture quality is the same to me. The QLED might have features that the 8000 Series does not have but for my use, I probably will not notice or need to use them so I don’t want to pay for something I will not use. I’ve had the TV for 3 days now and I have played some 4K contend from NETFLIX, VUDU, Amazon Prime, and Google play with no issues. Of course, this is dependent on your internet connectivity. There are no issues with browsing the internet either. I’m not much of a gamer however, I played some games on the TV and it worked great. The TV sound is ok, and I guess is what you would expect but a soundbar or surround system is going to make a huge difference. I have a 7.2 surround system so no issues with sound quality. There are channels in the stands for cable management. Depending on the thickness of your cables, you can fit maybe one or two in these channels in the stands. I was able to fit 2 HDMI cables in the right stand and the power cord in the left one and they are concealed very well in my opinion. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this TV. Go for the QLED or other expensive TVs if you have the funds.

On sale for around $1k is a steal for this caliber of television. This model actually blows away the next generation of TVs of this size surprisingly enough. Higher refresh rate and better options for a clearer image make this a top-notch choice for anyone in the market for a large TV. Samsung's tech that rids of motion blur and reduces judder, gives you that feeling like you are right on set, which I love! Best buy Customer service is also quite good; with this quality of service and product plus the unbeatable Black friday Pricing, this TV may have been one of the best deals that Best buy or anyone for that matter has offered! Outstanding!

We love this Samsung 82". Not gonna get technical, just a fantastic picture with great features and easy to use TV. The Geek Squad was here maybe 20 minutes getting the old Samsung moved and this one installed...will continue to use Geek Squad for installs. LOVE IT!!!!!!!

After owning many Samsung TV's two being 65", this 82" 8 series is a dream come true. Never believing I could get a large samsung with this size screen, quality, technical features, and such a beautiful picture for under 2K , I m still in awe that I'm finally gaming and watching 4K on this beauty. Not being a tech pro I'll let them give you the specs on the model as they did for me, all I can tell you is if you're looking for a large high quality TV for a good price this one should be at the top of your list!

Big TV!!!! This TV is huge. It was easy to set up. The images and colors are amazing. The sound was crisp and clear. Samsung is a good brand. I have other Samsung tvs. I haven't had any problems. We just wanted something bigger. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

This is a truly gorgeous TV! Top of the line for the UHD 4K grouping. Definitely needs some settings adjustments, as the overall brightness can be a little low. Definitely a great decision if you are not totally ready to make the leap in price to the QLED or OLED technology. When you check the specs, between this set and the entry-level Q60 series, there is a give and take on both. Higher resolution on the Q60, but less HDMI inputs, if that type of thing matters to you. There are other minor differences, but unless you are going to jump to the Q70, Q80, or Q90, not enough differences to spend the extra 500 - 1000.00 on the low end and 1500 - 2500.00 or more on the higher end. Liked this TV so much when I purchased the 65" for my family room, turned right around and got the 82" for my basement. No complaints, especially at this price!
