Samsung TV

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy did delivered on time but after few month later, I started to notice green dot on the top right hand corner, when ever i watch netflix it was very visible on black bar on top. I called Samsung and they had to replace, whole front panel.. I think they should have replaced the TV.. Samsung contracted the service through Barret TV.. Its been two weeks since the TV had been fix.. so far no issue..

Too dark

When there is a dark scene in a show or movie no matter what setting we put it on we have to turn the lights off. For the price I would think it would auto adjust so people can acually see what’s happening. During the day we can’t watch anything with dark scenes

This is the exact opposite. Apparently Samsung mandates that you provide your email and phone and contact information to set up the TV. So you have to download "Smarthings" App and download a remote (that you must pay monthly for the remote app). and provide email, phone contact for them to call you incessantly. If you attempt to skip this and choose "setup with Remote instead" the TV locks up and nothing you do will get it back. Power off, unplug, remove batteries from remote. reset remote. Nothing will get out of the lock screen. Horrible product.

TV didn’t work.

They had to replace the complete LCD. Best Buy told me it works when I picked it up. They won’t pick up the TV or provide shipping for return . Too heavy for me to pick up the TV. Bad experience with Best Buy. Won’t go with open box

Great value for large screen!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of the box picture quality...3 of 5 Post set up picture quality...4 of 5...natural setting is good Apps...4 of 5, the major apps are built in, easy to add Functionality...4 of 5...the fast processor makes operations better getting in and out of apps, on/off functions etc. Summary...the Sony 4k TVs we have offer a slightly better picture, but the OS makes this TV easier to operated. The everyday price is not bad for 82" screen but with the Black Friday price I jumped on it,

Failed after 3 years, with surge protector
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 3 years, with a professional surge protector, nothing directly connected to the TV, and very little use (approx 3-4 hours use per week), this TV got a black streak across the screen. Despite sending an hour with Samsung Customer Service, their answer was "oh well, nothing we can do," and offered me a 5% discount. I will never buy another Samsung product, as they clearly dont standby their products.
