I originally wanted an oled tv. After learning that oled screens will fade in color after time. I looked at Samsung QLED line and glad I did. I wanted a larger screen to replace my 65 inch Sony xbr930d. The Sony has a narrower viewing angle and I was having problems with the Sony sound bar htnt5 that was meant to pair with it. Glad I made the switch. QLED is fantastic. Now I’m waiting for the Samsung N950 soundbar to come out to complete my setup

Samsung Q6F is so amazing! Believe me, hubby and I aren’t TV geeks and didn’t research what would be the best to buy. We knew we wanted a Samsung brand because of previous experience and mostly positive reviews on their TV products. I took a chance on this because it was on sale and bigger than our current TV (Samsung 65in). We haven’t even done the calibration service to improve the color but oh boy- the color and depth of whatever movie we watch is so much better. So much so that we have a better movie experience watching at home than going to a movie theater. We waited to watch the last season of Game of Thrones until we had this tv and it was definitely worth the wait! Game of Thrones was spectacular in every scene! Then we tried Star Wars, Book of Eli, Deadpool, and a lot more other Sci-fi’s- it did not disappoint. This TV makes you feel like you are part of the movie- it is so freakin’ clear and looks awesome! In fact, we started from season 1 of Game of Thrones to enjoy the show all over again. I recommend this TV- buy it!!!!

This was a great investment. The quality is amazing and gives the "movie theater" vibe. Especially with the Samsung surround system. The controller has very minimal buttons. I lost the controller once and ended up buying one in Amazon, which was the worst experience. Luckily, later we found the original controller. Point is, if you lose the controller, go to best buy!

This TV is amazing! The picture is extremely clear and the color is incredible. Also, the size is perfect; it's actually lighter in weight than my Sharp Aquos 80" was. I'm completely satisfied with my new TV.

I have had this TV for about 4 years now. This TV went into my media room. We use it maybe 2-3x a week so not a lot of hours on it. It developed a line of dead pixel going across the entire width of the TV after a year. It is outside of warranty which is very unfortunate for an 82 inch TV to have that happen so quickly. Thankfully it doesn’t affect the picture too much because it’s near the top of the trailer. Except for that one thing it is a great TV. The apps and picture are great. I have 3 Samsung TVs at home and I love them.

This is my first Samsung TV and I love it! Decided to go with the ‘82 inch after much internal debate, but completed happy with this choice. Quality is amazing, especially the 4K content. The apps options are great and the screen is huge! I’ve had Sony tv’s in the past, but decided to go with Samsung this time. You won’t be disappointed! Oh, I love the ambient mode. It’s very impressive

We love everything about this T.V. The color, the picture quality, and the size suits our family's needs just well. Watching movies and playing video games on this T.V. has been a real treat for us, for it feels as if we are at the movies and/or inside of a video game. Great product. We would definitely recommend this product.

This TV is huge! We might have gotten a 75" if we had realize how big it actually is once you get it home, seems a little smaller in the store. Great picture, good sound quality- we set our sound on amplify so it is louder, but you can't adjust bass and treble in this mode. Wish it had picture in picture. The picture is crystal clear even though it is so big. Recommended.

I typically only buy Sony Xbr tv's, but I decided to give this Samsung a chance. I am 100 percent satisfied. Great picture. Great speakers and sound. Easy menu and setup. Simplistic remote. I honestly don't have any complaints about this tv. It's a good tv to enjoy for the next several years until 8k becomes predominant and affordable. You won't regret this purchase.

I had bought a Samsung 75 inch NU8000 for my living room but was using it in my theater room until I could afford the 82 Q6, I was playing Xbox 1 x frequently and watched 4K movies on the NU8000 and was amazed by the picture quality definitely an upgrade from the old standard 1080p hd TVs. Now when I got the q6f the screen size was an upgrade for sure and the picture quality.. hard to tell for me honestly, it does without a doubt give crisp video quality that is very impressive but it’s kind of hard for me to distinguish from the nu8000 which I believe is the next model down the charts. It has the same remote as said tv but the q6f comes with an ambient mode where it displays something like a screensaver pretty neat I suppose. The only noticeable difference I have noticed is that the q6f is way brighter. As for audio can’t really distinguish because I’ve been running Dolby atmos surround on both and it does sound amazing.

I replaced my Samsung 75 inch with this samsung 82 inch QLED. What a difference! The color is beautiful and the sound would be better if the speakers were in the front so I use a samsung sound bar. Also it was disappointing that there was no audio output jack for headphones, which I really need for my mother who is hard of hearing.

We are very pleased with this TV. Of course, we have only had it for 2 months, but it has worked perfectly well so far for sure. The only criticism of this TV that I read online before I bought it was about its "blacks." Sometimes there is a gray shadow instead of jet black. Honestly, it's a fair trade (to me) in exchange for the bright picture. The recent very dark Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 3, Battle of Winterfell, is a good example. We watched it on the Samsung being reviewed here, noticed that it was dark, but that was about it. I rewatched it on a 65" LG TV of ours and - dang - it was barely-able-to-see-anything dark. So, give me being able to see a picture with some gray shadows instead of jet black (the Samsung) over not being able to see much of anything (a different TV) any day. A few other comments: the remote is delightfully simple. The TV is heavy and large: moving it around is a job for 2 people. So far the ports work great; the internet connectivity is seamless, I bought the right (additional) cable to be able to connect it to my sound system, so the sound is great, and the image is good from all angles.

Exceeded my expectations. Looks even better on my wall than in the store, Shows up well in sunlight. Colors are vivid and clear. I would definitely recommend this purchase, best TV for the price. Best Buy also matches price and has a great points program. I always try to buy Best buy first using my Best buy credit card.

I have always been a Sony guy when it comes to my electronics. I had a 70" Sony TV go out on me and my warranty was expired. When I went into Best Buy looking for its replacement I kept looking over at the Samsung and man did the colors really pop! I began talking with the representative and they provided some excellent feedback and explained the QLED technology. I did not think it would be that huge of a difference but WOW! I have never seen anything like this! You will basically re-watch all your favorite movies and re-play your favorite games (yes I do lots of gaming) and this TV is Fantastic! We have since bought several more QLED for other rooms and yes all of them looks as good as any OLED out there. Most people who come over say the same thing "that picture looks unreal, never thought a TV could look that good" You wont be dissapointed!

So I happy i went for the 82 inch. I wouldn't have been happy knowing I could have spent a little more money, I could get a way bigger tv than the 75. Picture on this thing is incredible on Netflix, youtube, and 4k blue ray. Sound from tv is also incredible. When it comes to watching cable tv, I'm a little disappointed, the picture is trash compared to my pre historic 60 inch 1080 sony tv. Im hoping thats an issue with my cable provider, maybe i need a new receiver. Im not blaming the tv, just be warned for all you cable watchers. I don't expect 4k from cable, but 1080 would be nice. Sports seem blurry now

Upgraded from a sony 75". The QLED is so much brighter than the sony. Simple remote functions really well. We were concerned it lacked many keys but the home/functions make it all come together nicely. Amazing picture. Exceeded all my expectations. It has only been a month so no issues so far

Colors are vibrant, bright and dark are excellent. Consumer reports gave this tv an middle/upper score. On a scale of 1-5, I have to give it all 5's. I love this screen and have no regrets with this purchase. I even talk to my remote and it changes channels, inputs, access smart functions. Its wonderful!
