    Samsung tv’s are hot garbage

    I bought a 65” QLED tv 1 year ago and now one side is darker then the other and of course it’s a few months out of warranty so it’s on me to get this $1100 paper weight fixed!!! 1st and last time buying a Samsung tv, I should have stuck with LG, had it over ten years and it’s still kicking, trying to save few bucks got me an expensive paper weight.

    Dead after 22 months and $1800 down the drain

    Not even two years in and she’s dead. Won’t turn on. Followed instructions on the Samsung site. Plugs, remotes, batteries, red signal on and off. No red signal and she won’t fire up. I would buy a warranty next time . I’ve heard many people have issues later on with their tv.

    Still not sure about the TV it’s gone off once or twice but I think that may have been the cable

      Sometimes connected Smart devices send abnormal "power on" signals through the wireless network that triggers the TV to turn itself on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.

      If the TV continues to turn on by itself continuously, please contact our Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

      Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.
      1) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      2) Standard: This is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      3) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      4) Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      5) Filmmaker: Watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is.

    This TV looks good as long as you are looking at it straight on, it you look at it from an angle the picture quality diminishes. Returned the tv and purchased a 85" Q85A series tv, it is more like we expected.

    While it is a decent TV with the typical Samsung functions, the picture isn’t all that great. If you’re looking for quality in sports, definitely below average. Great for entertaining purposes.

      You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.

      You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.
