The best part of this TV (besides the quality, of course), is the smart hub! You plug all of your ancillary devices (sound bar, BluRay, gaming systems) in to the hub which then connects via a single clear wire to the back of the tv. No more dozens of hdmi cables needing to be fed thru the wall or behind the tv! It’s AWESOME!

As we all know, there is no real 8K content out yet, so I feel it has been a great investment since when the real 8K content debuts, I will be even more mesmerized by the quality. I have had it for longer than 3 months now so I can comfortably agree that this TV is very advanced. Of course it came with a price, but for the people that want the best of the best, get this TV. Lightning fast responses from the remote, auto-source switching works miracles, and the resolution, oh god Netflix 4K shows look AMAZING. Blacks are incredible along with whites very bright and accurate. Some people have complained about it being too dark in the OLED part of it, but I love it, makes it pop out way more.

Awesome TV-This TV is a replacement for my 65in Panasonic Plasma it is definitely an upgrade. I originally wanted the 75in but when the 82in went on sale, I decided to upgrade. I don’t know if you call $3,999.00 a sale but it was in my budget and it fits on my wall nicely. I purchased the TV knowing that the only 8K content currently available is on YouTube specific content, but it does upscale nicely. The blacks are not as good as the OLED TV’s but it is close. This is my 3rd Samsung TV and I definitely notice the upscale I adjusted the settings to my liking but out of the box the colors are really bright. The details of the picture cannot be described, I am able to see details that I never seen before even with my other 4K TV’s. Something I was not aware of when I purchased the TV is that the mount is included also the one connect cable is not wall rated you will need VG-SOCR86U/ZA and it is not cheap. I had Best Buy do the installation and they reported no issues. It also includes Apple TV which I had to purchase separately with my other TV. Overall great buy and I do not regret my purchase

So, the TV is actually a very good TV. It has a really good picture quality and I love the fact that I can download apps like Netflix, Spectrum, Hulu, etc and watch them directly on my tv. I like how I can also pair it with smartthings on my phone and iPad and control my TV that way. I've even been able to mirror the things on my phone to the TV which is pretty cool. The TV had a few problems switching between game mode when I was playing Cyberpunk 2077 on the Xbox Series X, but otherwise, it looks great. My PS5 games look great too! There is a big negative things I want to point out. The TV does not yet natively display 8K content. It shows it in 4K and upscales it to 8K. Anything with an 8K option (like youtube) will only show 4K options available and anything you try to watch (from USB that's 8K) will give you errors. Samsung has still not sent an update to fix this yet. The other thing is that the Samsung One Connect box ethernet is only 100mb. The WiFi built into it is faster which is a little ridiculous. When streaming 4K and 8K content, that speed is not going to cut it. Also, though there are 4 hdmi ports, only 1 has the hdmi 2.1 which means only 1 device will potentially be able to display in 8K.

I went from a 2020 Model 80T to this 8K Q900R, I am absolutely in love with the brightness this tv produces, colors are also pretty saturated. The included no gap wall mount was a huge plus as well, I can honestly say this looks more like an art piece than it does a tv at times. So why didnt I give this 5 stars? Well for one, Samsung is to blame. They aren't the best when it comes to updates, and even their phones suffer from this, as soon as the next one is released they pretty much all but forget about the last. The Q900R community is still waiting for the long awaited eARC update which is yet to come. A big one if you fall in the home theater crowd. We are also waiting for hdmi 2.1 comfirmation once new consoles get released. If we can at least get one of the two that would let me bump up the rating to 4 stars. Now the other star all depends on the dreaded panel lottery, this tv has quite a bit of DSE "dirty screen effect" , and it can be very distracting to the trained eye. Although many of you might not even notice it unless you look for it, consider yourself lucky. All in all its a great tv that suffers from the usual samsung shenanigans, would I have paid $6500 and been happy with this tv? Absolutely not. But for the open box price, I am one happy camper.

It was the best choice that I selected the Samsung 82Q900. The picture quality Is amazing and the apps work all without any issues. The only disappointment is that I was told from the Samsung Best Buy representative that they will replace for free the one connect box with a new one, that would have the HDMI 2.1 port, but every time I call Samsung support they cant give me an answer. They telling me, that the 2019 Model already has the 2.1 HDMI Port, which I found out its not true. I even saw it last year on the Web page of Samsung, that they will have an exchange program going forward to replace the 2019 one connect box for free. Sadly no one from Samsung can help me regarding this. Otherwise I would have give 5 Stars review !!!

This tv is a little overwhelming. I didn’t bother to try and set it up myself. When it arrived the box is as big as a ping pong table. Thank you to the installation crew. Picture is great. Just remember that even though there is no 8k content readily available the picture quality is always going to be better than 4K with the upscaling. As far as 4K content Netflix has more content than prime or Xfinity. This give you a great excuse to start loading up on 4K UHD DVDs So this tv is just large with great picture quality. It’s a pleasure to watch. Some FYIs to buyers considering this. If you planing on wall mounting this Purchase a mount that can accommodate a larger tv as I purchased the up to 82” mount and I was maxed out with adjustments out of the box. Plan on using a home theater sound system

Bought as an open box( demo) got a great deal. But samsung refused to repair the tv because it was an open box. Even tho best buy claims open box carries full manufacturers warranty. So I reached out to best buy to repair it, which they also refused to repair the tv. Tried to get me to bring it back and get another one(full price) no thanks. Ended up returning the tv and getting my money back. I loved the TV. But the one connect cable was garbage. The pins on the motherboard cracked off because they were soo little. And the cable needs secured to the tv with a screw. Not a vert food design, but the right idea was there. Waiting to find another deal on a 8K samsung tv.

Best picture quality I have ever seen but has major problems. Blacks and whites fade in and out and so far have not been able to correct problem. Extended warranty with Geek Squad for 5 years is $1500 first year of which is also covered by Samsung. Warranty is way overpriced and many of the Geek Squad employees are not familiar with this new model TV. Still an amazing TV which is almost three dimensional in picture quality. Must see to believe. Remote is a mess. Need a post graduate degree to use and detailed instructions no where to be found for the remote including the on line manual.

The purchase went smooth. Delivery made in a week and installation went without a hitch (wall mounted too). Joe was a great sales rep and the two installers Brandon & Josh were so neat and thorough and made a quick efficient install and my TV was up and running in an hour. The picture on this Samsung is truly amazing, Best picture quality I have ever experienced. With this TV who needs a movie theater. A big thumbs up for the TV and the service. Couldn't have asked for better.

Wow, this 8k TV is amazing. We say so every time we sit down to watch. We continued watching some of our favorite series and the contrast between our old 70" 4k TV and this one is phenomenal. Well worth the price. With 24 months interest free payments, it's a no brainer. We don't miss going to the movie theatre and probably won't do that much anymore. Also, the smart aspect of this TV is really great too!

I only buy a new large TV about every 7 years, but when I do I invest in the latest technology so I’m future proof for a while. Simply put, this 8K is astonishing!! Samsung knocked it out of the park. In addition, there is only one thin wire that I had to fish behind the wall as everything else gets plugged into the stylish One Connect box.

I have a 65" LG OLED C9 that I decided to move to another room. I got a good open-box deal on this Samsung a couple of weeks ago and I'm very happy with it! It doesn't quite match the blacks on an OLED, but it is very close! I was hoping regular 1080 HD would upscale a little better, but it does a good job as long as you're not right up on it. 4k looks amazing! I can't imagine how 8k would look much clearer. I stream a lot of shows and movies from Prime and Netflix and I feel almost like I have my own theater now. It works well in dark or bright rooms.

No buyer’s remorse here. Bought it, hung it on the wall, and have enjoyed it every day. Purchased the Harmon/Kardin soundbar with surround sound speakers as well. Very happy with the picture quality. Upscaling is amazing. The guys at Best Buy were very professional. Both sales and install.
