This was the most disappointing experience. The TV was delivered 3 time before it was correct. First delivery 12-24 TV broken, wait 7 days second TV was open and no remote in box wait another 7 days, third delivery finally set up 1-3. I called and went to the store with no satisfaction. No one helped me and I was treated terribly. I purchased a $3000 TV you treated me terribly

Just got my 83 in S85D a couple days ago. Crisp and bright picture. Razor thin profile. Read a lot of expert reviews that get into the technical differences with the more expensive models and brands. You can certainly spend a lot more money, but this TV is a great one for a lot of reasons, and the technical differences probably wont matter much to most people. Highly recommend.

The picture is great on the TV. I had it delivered. No issues with that. I had to return the first TV because the sound was going up and down by itself! Had BB repair tech come out and he told us to just do a return. I did and now the second TV the sound is doing wack stuff again. I had to turn it up to 50 to get any decent volume. I don’t have a sound system hooked up to it. I should have one but I shouldn’t have to buy one to just have the sound to work. Stupid. Now I will be returning this one again probably for an LG. I am a big supporter of Samsung TVs but this has been a bad experience.

Thank you for sharing your experience with volume fluctuations. Please try the following which may help resolve this:
1. Turn off the Sound Sensor switch by using the button at the bottom of the TV, beneath the Samsung logo. With the TV on, you can push the button to the left to turn the sound sensor on or to the right to turn it off. 2. Try disabling some of the TV's intelligent functions, as these will automatically analyze and adjust your sound which may cause your volume to fluctuate. Go to Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings and select Intelligent Mode to turn off all the functions or select each option to turn it off. 3. Please also make sure your TV’s firmware is updated. You can check this by going to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
